A 3rd of the sp and mcap gone in three days.
I read again and again that nothing posted on these bbs has any influence on sp movement. Maybe I’ve just highlighted a serious problem and people are opening their eyes to what is, or rather isn’t, happening here.
Panels CAN be sold without certification but only to off-grid customers. That’s not where the big bucks are which is what Lindab etc are after.
Think it’s time they came clean about the status on this. Could reassure fears?
Great partners in Lindab but why is the product STILL not available?
Update please.
Shameful @roger65

According to the Lindab Solar Roof technical sheet published 16th March 2023 which features a picture of the new Verditek solar panels, the product has been certified IEC61215 / 61730 / ISO9001

You are really stretching it my man.. Why would a company like Lindab resell panels that are not certified?
For somebody who owns shares in this company, you seem very keen to drive the share price down on speculation. Sure you're not just trying to buy more at a cheaper price before results come out end of June? Metrotile and Lindab are multinationals who have shown a huge amount of belief in the verditek panels. They spent more than a year developing their new products and have invested a lot in marketing them in recent weeks. Who did you speak to at Lindab? When did they say they are expecting certification?
They can sell their products without certification but only off grid, which is if no interest to Lindab long term.
Until they get Certification it’s piece-meal sales. We’ve only been waiting two years for this now. Board won’t come clean on the issue and have not updated shares holders once. Typical. If this doesn’t get sorted, and soon, VDTK is done for imho.
This is very interesting. Well done for calling. I thought Lindab had already bought 100k worth of panels. Did lindab indicate when they thought the issue would be resolved? They must have felt certification would happen 'very soon' when they put together their marketing.
Did you get the impression their has been another unexpected delay? Metrotile seem happy to sell their product without certification. All very odd.
Agggh just called Lindab. Wish I hadn’t. Apparently it’s a problem at VDTK’s end and the product isn’t yet certified! How can this same problem be happening again? The last time Certification was required - two years ago now? - we just never heard again from the company about it. One has to assume there’s a serious problem with the vdtk panels or surely it would have been ok’d by now?!
I wonder how long ‘launching very soon’ Has been up on the Lindab website? Anyone know? What are they waiting for?
Pleased to see Metrotile have been heavily marketing their verditek roof tiles in recent weeks through social media and trade shows.

Verditek also seem to be making inroads into the marine market with Helinor Energy.

Bring on the sales.
Tks for that. V helpful
The product hasn't officially launched yet according to the website. "Launching very soon". Hopefully the orders will roll in quickly thereafter as they seem to have an extensive sales network across Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. I doubt there will be an RNS for every sale. Hopefully some good news come June 30th though.
Over two months since the exclusivity was handed to Lindab but no news of any orders. I really hope agreement this bears fruit or else VDTK are back to square one.
Company seem terribly quiet.
Never thought I’d see the day but…every single stock in my portfolio is red bar one: VDTK. Stone the crows!
Would be great to have news on another installation c/o Lindab soon.
I see that Bradclad still have the Verditek logo on their site too. I read something from them recently that implied they only dropped verditek on cost grounds rather than quality.
The Lindab Solar Roof website has been updated to advertise the new Verditek panels and it looks great. They have obviously tested the panels extensively and speak very highly of them in terms of efficiency, durability and asethetics. Looking at the quality of Lindabs marketing, their size and their international reach, I'm now confident that they will hit their sales target to maintain exclusivity, and that will surely do wonders for the Verditek balance sheet.
With solar demand expanding exponentially and the EU still proposing solar panels for all new commercial buildings by 2027 (and residential by 2029), this could be a very lucrative venture for all concerned hopefully.

Finally someone has taken Bradclad off the website. However, where partners are listed there is no sign of Lindab. Bit surprised as their name would look good to be associated with so not sure why Verditek don't want to make that more highly visible.
Looking forward to breaking 2p on next news of any more installations. Hopefully soon....
So £16k of buys on Friday results in a 10% lift in the share price. Bit odd.
No idea what news we are expecting for the foreseeable other than hopefully some news of Lindab placing more contracts. In order to maintain exclusivity they must sell equivalent of 850kw in one year. Thus far they've bought £120k worth.
This will rise sharply if another sizeable contract is announced though so fingers crossed this comes good. Really good
I am fairly optimistic as well. It is good that they can continue for quite a while now and with a director and major shareholder again involved. Let's hope they have some insight into a nice pipeline
I suspect the lack of communication is probably because they have overpromised and underdelivered in the past.
I think this is broadly positive. A bit of cash in the pot and a show of director confidence. We are finally tied up with some major companies who are also showing faith in the product. If Lindab sell anything like the amount they need to, to maintain exclusivity, then revenues will surely be many times higher than previous years.
More money to keep the lights on. Wow, a whole sentence from the CEO too. Comms are improving then…not. No idea what the recent rise in sp was down to and no idea what the company are up to at the moment. Clueless.
I guess the only positive thing is that a Director and major share holder are involved. Would either of them throw good money after bad? Gives them both another chunk of the company! Is this going to be taken private?
Perhaps.
I would like to hear of another instillation with Metrotile and also another sale to Lindab before I start getting my hopes up.
Would like to see Bradclad removed from the website too. They shafted VDTK badly over 6 months ago and sent the sp into a tailspin. Am surprised they would want to give any visibility to those charlatans after what happened. We never had a sensible explanation for exactly what went on or got any compensation from them as far as I'm aware.
These new deals with multinationals Lindab and Metrotile look exciting.
Lindab (RNS March 23)
- Operate in 20 countries with £1 billion annual turnover
- Already have a sophisticated and attractive solar roof system with slick marketing
- Want exclusivity with Verditek, which is conditional on buying 850kw over the next 8 months.
- Have already bought £100k worth of solar panels this year
- If 850kw is achieved at say £1 per watt, that would generate £850k alone

Metrotile (RNS March 23)
- leading metal roof tile supplier in the UK, Europe and Africa
- Sophisticated and attractive solar roof system, exclusively using Verditek cells
- Successfully tried and tested since 2020, and have now placed their first production order of £167k.

This builds on the 400 panel, 120kw installation in Thailand by Sunsear, completed in January 23, using their existing inventory of solar panels.

Hopefully, Verditek have finally turned the corner.
Hello Roger, I'm here but with nothing constructive to say!
The steady increase is pleasing to see, the game is not over yet.
Forever watching .... Dopp0
