@alfista
You're easily spooked.
Look at BlackBoulder, nothing seems to spook him/her. And plenty of facts being rolled out (even if it is cut and paste).
You can't deny the facts, and definitely can't deny that today's news is very good for the investors, and not so good for the shorters
@alfista
Its all doom and gloom for you. You have no response to the good news, just the same concerns repeated again and again. If this share starts rising, what's your short position at? When would you be forced to sell?
Looks like we've got a ramping relay race going on.
All too obvious, it should send the spooks down anyone's spine if they've got an ounce of nous IMHO
@sharedetect
I've seen the #vcpshortsqueeze
I get that the common folk can get behind this and give the shorters/hedge funds a really good whipping.
What I don't get is why you think Mr Wildwolf is so amazing. He can't even give an update on what I believe is just accusations.
Maybe you can find him on his, yacht and ask him to do something positive
Interesting day today!
Spruce House buy a load of shares and the hashtag #vcpshortsqueeze pops up everywhere!
Is there something coming.....
@hawkeye Give Mr Wilding a break, there is only so much he can do. He has been buying the shares from his own pocket to show the confidence he has in the company.... not many in his position would need to do that. I applaud Mr Wilding for all the positive moves he has made recently. WE NEED MORE!
""all it needs is a catalyst to to set it off, a positive results announcement or a decent acquisition."
Higher energy prices, retail markets under pressure. Fact.
So you are speculating on an acquisition, fair enough, always a possibility. But it has to be a fully transparent transaction, not one that is open to further accusations.
Why won't they explain what happened to those two supposed acquisitions, that look really bad when analysed ? That's really needed IMHO
BlackBoulder has finally woken up. Another thorough post. Your copy and paste skills are amazing.
@alfista - you have a negative spin on everything, but even you will have to admit this is great news. Want to hear your take on this.
IMHO - this share will be flying soon.
Unlike BlackBoulder's writing career, after every realises he's just a cut n paste artist
I see from the TR1 notice that Spruce House have increased their shareholding from 19.00% to 20.44%, which means they bought 1.66m shares yesterday.
Spruce House’s Zach Sternberg is a director of Victoria, which means that the insiders are now starting to buy, in meaningful volumes.
Spruce House is a major long term shareholder, which means that this is another 1.66m shares locked up and therefore unavailable for the shorters to buy when they finally realise that they need to buy their shares back.
The official total short position is now 4.83%, but that is only shorters with positions of 0.5% or more. The real short position is more like 10% due to the many smaller short positions below the compulsory disclosure threshold.
A short squeeze is definitely coming, all it needs is a catalyst to to set it off, a positive results announcement or a decent acquisition.
If you're impressed by all that rampy old carp, crack on chap.
@alfista
@smkr
Im seeing a lot of buys and social media is buzzing with #shortsqueeze
You guys been checking your social media feeds?
I'm optimistic. I think it will fly. DYOR
Am I missing something here?
The hashtag vcpshortsqueeze is all over my socials!!
Is there something coming? There's going to be a lot of burnt fingers if this gets any traction!
Exciting times!!!
haha
@Maplinman
Can't be that great of a board if you're on here asking people to go there!
Where is @BlackBoulder with the regular updates?
Must have given up on any recovery
No way is the 'cost of living' crisis baked in. It has barely got going. This was clearly overvalued at £10 and it is still overvalued. Flooring comes a distant second to food for most people in the UK these days.
However, if you want to make your money back and more besides, take a look at Seeing Machines (SEE). It's the best board on LSE and spend 10 minutes there and you'll not regret it.
Not sure mate. I’ve not heard any rumour apart from a few things posted around message boards. Pinch of salt maybe needed. I just think there’s obviously support at this m/c or thereabouts and the company seems very willing to support it - money where mouth is etc. When market turns then it’s got upside.
@smkr
If some of the new acquisition rumours are right, then next week might see a rise in price.
What do you think of the rumours? Is a big buy imminent?
Rampy or positive, versus derampy or negative. Hey ho.
Fact is, since the worry about the high energy prices and cost of living crisis, market cap has collapsed from well over a billion to less than half recently. A lot of your “worries” are already baked in, Chap. You’re late to the shorting party.
@alfista
Energy prices are very erratic, and of serious significance, but don't you think a company of this size would already be on longer term contracts and not be affected by the short term surges in price.
I'm more concerned that right now someone like Geoff Wilding isn't buying any further shares.
The longer I don't see members of Victoria Plc buy shares, the more my confidence is evaporating.
Only positive news we are getting these days is SMKR telling us the price is about to launch, faster than a rocket, and BlackBoulder reeling off some figures to try and convince everyone.
Only a realist chap.
Your rampy posts got me busy.
Don’t keep that short open too long bud.
And at the start of 2021 it was around 30 wasn't it.
Don't be so sure about a fall, if there's a cold winter it could be that they can't get any at all, that's already happening to bigger consuming industries.
Up to you if you want to ignore the headwinds.
It was 340euro/mwh .. it’s now fallen to 162euro/mwh. That’s front month gas futures, and ignore months further out as they’ll adjust down as they near front month lol
Don't know where smkr is getting his info from, but the Dutch TTF chart shows further rises in gas prices going through in to next year.
Fear not, the EU, which doesn't favour any type of gas production, is going to dictate to the countries that do produce, what they can charge ! Good luck with that one.
Fact is current levels are some 6x what they normally budget, causing rampant inflation in their produced goods. Everything they make is non essential luxury stuff. Faced with heating homes and paying more for basic food items, what do you think the consumer will stop buying first? get real.
In this game of squeeze, the shorters are back on top. They have increased their positions.
@BlackBoulder
You claim the shorters are being squeezed, doesn't look like they are getting squeezed very hard.
