hi all been following all the comments on here all week and its been nice to see all the positivity. As we all know without the val shareholders action group getting together and virtually saving this company we would not be here at all so firstly a big thank you to them . I personally bought in again after the share consolodation, as i felt it was like a new start, after one of the directors recently buying shares on the open market i also then increased my holding. Like a lot of others ive had my fingers burnt to a crisp with this share in the past, but it seems different now with new people running things at the top and actually listening to shareholders. i always say do your own research then you either invest here or look elswhere. Im looking now to invest again on monday morning, reasons being as i really feel val is going somewhere now. The cost cutting by moving to premises away from london is a masterstroke as it sends a message to the market that monies from fund raises will not be wasted as they were in the past . I think it will take a little time for people who may be thinking of investing again to get on to what is starting to happen here , especially if some of those persons have had their fingers burnt in the past. The fact that the sp has increased so much this week will be of interest to a lot of potential investors especially with the covid link. We have news to come in september but other news may arrive before then who knows .Hopefully in the backround the sp will continue to rise as in the grand scheme of things there are not a tremendous amount of shares around. I think market confidence needs to increase, and if last week is anything to go by that is starting to happen. The people who are now running val are like a breath of fresh air, we know that it just needs others to see it as well . At the moment its hard to find a good investment stock out there, with some stocks already risen 300 plus per cent, val i believe represents a good cheap investment at the moment , but will we be saying the same this time next week....i think we may see the upward trend continuing next week as investors catch onto this potential moneymaker . My plan is to stay cool and watch the rise , who know where this companies sp could go to............The people who know the most about what is going on are surely the directors of the company, so would a director throw his money down the drain by buying more shares on the open market having also participated in the recent fund raise i, i think not. be lucky
Valirx is one of the very few companies, that when everything unfolds, many will say "I wish somebody would have told me about this company sooner "
SG, an uplifting post, I think I my join you on Monday for a top up, I have a very odd number of shares and it’s messing with my OCD.... :)
haha. Yes. I have started buying in round numbers always 5k minimums. I just can't stand it otherwise. I am in for 25k Monday. Gives me a nice round number. Want it under 15p though.
Bm, I would be over the moon for 14p but if it’s 18 does it “really” matter?
Last week the share price rockets on opening, then the price seems to dip in the day and rise again at close, so I’m going to try and hit it just right..... bet I don’t though lol
Gl
I had a limit order in last Monday for 8.5p. It never triggered. I then raised it to 9.5p but the police rose above 10p by 9 am. I waited an hour or so and managed to buy at 9.5p once it settled.
You are right. In the grand scheme what does it matter, if the SP is going to levels we are hoping.
Bm, this is my master plan, I’m going to top up Monday, at some point in September when this share price hits £2.36 I’m going to sell and invest in silver and some gold and at the point this (huge recession) is showing a hint of being over I will sell, I’m banking on doubling, at that point the house prices will be very low, poss 20-30% lower than today?
I will then purchase a 2nd property “outright” with the profit and move to a Greek island and live off the rent from my main home and my new purchase, it should be a reasonable income along with our pensions
I will Go fishing and swimming in the sea most days and drink wine every day and eventually die a happy man with a failed liver!
Oh and I’m not jesting, that’s the plan :))
Oldbaldy. What a plan. I have two kids still at school but my plan is pretty much the same. Just 10 years time. However, hoping to be in a position to have time freedom within the next few.
You plan sounds excellent. I like it.
Bm, The wife and I have 4 kids between us, my 3 are all working hard, and my step daughter has left school and once she is on her own two feet, were off! However we do “quite like” the kids so we need enough money to make regular trips back here and treat the kids/ grand kids to plane tickets to visit us etc
We could have a comfy “simple” life out there for about €12,000 per year, very cheap indeed, but I’m aiming for €30,000 so we don’t have to scrimp and can see the kids often....
So many people just don’t have a plan, if I fail, we will compromise and say just holiday out there 3-6 month of the year and continue to work while we are in the U.K. until we do have enough :)
Don’t give up on your dream ....
OB & BM, good luck with your respective plans, they sound good indeed. Mine is to help with uni fees, and if really lucky, to retire a few years earlier than our lovely government has decreed for me. £2.36 a share will certainly help! Good luck to you both. :-)
We have sold up, bought an RV and touring all Europe at the moment. In Vandee in a massive thunderstorm at moment.
It’s called “living the dream” bl00dy fair play!
Oldbaldy, one question. What is the significance of £2.36 ?
good for you oldbaldy.....I'm in awe......I just love Greece and the Islands... Well done...and hope it all continues to work out well for you all. best wishes. fred
Morning BM, that’s an easy one £2.36 is the current synairgen sp :)))
Oh and thanks Fred, I’m not a large holder here, some folk here hold enough that if this does go to £2.36 they could buy a Greek island lol
From Slater our second largest shareholder at 6.1%:

Oldbaldy. To really do an SNG type rise and have an equivalent MCap the VAL SP would be £6.46 based on closing the current disparity.
However, £2.36 would do just fine.
646p and I will tender my resignation in. Realistically is a possibility this year with 4 drugs being developed.
Just look at the statements from shrewd, successful wealthy investors like Slater and that shows the potential here.
I really don’t mind £6.46 honest! :))
Just worked out the capital gains tax on that, sill it would be a lovely problem to have :)
Hold them in an ISA and no tax to pay.....even better....:)
I sold my 8ks investment into SNG in march at 100% profit thinking I made good money. If I had held that 8k would be worth about 160k today.
Been kicking myself for the last last 4 weeks.
I know the feeling. I sold GGP at 1p a few of years back getting fed up with the BOD and seemingly no good news at the time. I had a sizeable amount as well......:(...That said wont make the same mistake with Val. It has just started the big move up with so much big news so close now. Previously I was thinking to top slice a few around the 30p mark, then changed my mind thinking 50p for a top slice but now i really think this will move to a much higher figure on one positive drug result alone but with the other drugs and the new strategy in place, the sp has to be worth £s imo and in a fairly short span of time imo
Jungmana, you have 16k to invest here, and that could be worth £700k :)
I hold about 180k shares at about 9p average. Not making same mistake again :-)
