Over the last 3 days, I’m stumped. Past recent P&D has to my memory happened in a much shorter time than 3 days. The SP is still low compared to 2018. All this could have done was help recent PIs escape. We will have to wait till Monday to see where we are going. Any enlightened thoughts?
Only why let recent PI 's escape? Who is letting them escape and to what end?
Not saying its not the case only that I don't see any benefit.
Bankfool I was referring to the ones who bought and sold within the last few days,
If you recently bought in and sold you would be in good profit.
I think you are right the last week for short term holders of val would have been a nice little earner. This definitely seems to be a share that you should sell if you haven't made profit in a couple of weeks. Holding any longer and you can find yourself in the same boat as LTHs. In some ways it is strange knowing that a 30 %(say) drop will have a massive effect on the the cash balance of a more recent holder, but as I have been holding for years that sort of drop has little effect on my residue value. Guess its quite a lesson in how fast you can lose money if you get your timing wrong on AIM.
Bankfool, what would you recommend a good entry price would be ?
Bankfool, what made you invest in Val years ago, after your research. We are in a better position now .
Closer probably, better no, not in my opinion.... NOT UNTIL we have confirmed word of a deal and I don't mean a snippet from a presentation a video or whatever, I mean in an RNS.... with who an amount and a specific time frame!
Why, because as much as we all want to believe, the money situation is not as strong imo as it should be... mainly due to greed of BoD and of course incompetence of the handling of the finances, again imo….
Yes I want it to work, but for the right reasons, a defence against cancer and a improvement in sp, for all lth's, not just to keep the gravy train running for the privileged few...
50/50 as to next news, lets hope Suzy is playing a blinder with the 401 interested parties !!!
The simple answer was FOMO. There was a positive vibe and a lot of big talk and I didn't have any experice of AIM. This is the reason why I take a stance against rampers. Its not that they have any meaningful effect on price one way or the other, but they do sucker in idiots like me who think there is a quick buck coming. Over the years the things that made me angry hace been a lack of meaningful RNS from the BOD, rumours of BODs level of rumuneration and their low level of share ownership (I have often said that if the BOD wants to look credible they need to have some meaningful skin in the game). The other thing that has frustrated me greatly is that there have been times when I could have got out with an acceptable loss or perhaps enough money to invest elsewhere but the rises where random and short lived Possible pump and dumps. Sure I have made a total mess of my gamble on VAL and others might say that wouldn't have been a rubbish as me. That's fine I advise caution not for them but to get those susceptible to FOMO to think before they leap.
Good entry point. Not sure this is so much a mater of price as it is a matter of timing. Buying on a rise is a very risky strategy, last week was great, but how much is left? On the assumption VAL have products that work as claimed, if I were to put more money in it would be once we are at a higher support level and that there was reason to believe that it really was a support level. Sure you don't get as much as someone as the person you got in the at say 0.05p but that does not mean that you can't make a serious gain. The pattern I have discerned is that there is a tendency for sp to erode over time and for sp to spike unexpectedly. It makes me think that if you haven't made any money in a couple of weeks you should sell before you start losing money hand over fist. I would say this spike is done and the best policy is to wait for the next one. In the meantime wait for a stable support level to mitigate against sp erosion. my personal recommendation is to steer clear of VAL
Hi Tom-vast. Did you buy in today? Hopefully not.
