Over 71.2 to sell, way above current bid. They really want these shares. Strong indication that this will rise again soon
Up 10% with rbs this morning. Nothing for so long then increases for past few days. Something happening? Leak? News to follow?
Let's hope it keeps going!
Showing as .80 with rbs
HAPPY DAYS" nothing in ages and a massive rise today. Must be leak ahead of news????
With hardly any buying or selling because of the 50% spread I would not be surprised if UTN decided to go private which would bring the SP down to about 0.2p as they would be expensive to trade in and very hard to sell.PS I hope this does not happen.GL.
No buys for ages.GL.
Nearly all trades in UTN are sales & as the spread is too large dealings are few and slowly bring down the SP so combine this with poor news & we are heading to sub 0.5p I think.GL.
I don't know how they can drop the price 7% on a £230.00 sell ! the only trade today... I think its LSE's software giving out duff information. Best do your research elsewhere !
The spread for UTN is better but 60% is still too high so a hold is all it is worth.GL
Who would buy UTN with an 80% spread?
Ok chaps, thanks for the answers.
No. :-( At least, not that I remember, and I have held them for 30+ years, since the days when they were called Microvitec and made computer monitors.
Nope. The company is working on a number of solar projects, success in one or more of them will transform the fortune of the company. They are: 1. Mexican school - green power box trial, 2, deployment of 1st Oasis power station in Saudi Arabia 3. Power purchase agreement for Pilansberg National park visitor centre in SA. 4. Renewable heat in UK In the meantime, if the new e-bikes subsidiary in Benelux can improve sales, reduces loss and Cognito legal software continues to make >£200k of profit a year, then good time ahead!!!
Can anyone tell me, has the company ever proposed or declared a dividend ?
Ultima Networks PLC South African Power Purchase Agreement Share On Facebook Print Alert TIDMUTN RNS Number : 9258M Ultima Networks PLC 02 September 2013 2 September 2013 Ultima Networks plc ("Ultima" or the "Company") 5 Year Power Purchase Agreement signed with the Visitor centre at Pilansberg Game Reserve South Africa based upon the Company's Oasis Containerised Hybrid Solar Power Station The Board of Ultima is pleased to announce that the Company's Green Technology Division has signed an agreement to provide solar electricity to the visitor centre at the Pilansberg Game Reserve in South Africa ('Pilansberg'). Electricity will be generated by installing the Company's Oasis containerised Hybrid Solar Power station ('Oasis'). Oasis is a compact, quick to deploy and scalable solar power station that is capable of providing green energy for applications in the range between 20Kw and 200KW. Each 20KW power pack is incorporated into a 20 foot ISO container and delivered to the required site as a 'ready to use' power station. Oasis is also capable of redeployment to a different site within 48 hours. Oasis has already been supplied to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where it is due to go into operation in early September 2013. Ultima is confident that following the successful deployment of Oasis at Pilansberg, additional business will follow from within the Pilansberg Reserve and other reserves in South Africa. Electricity used at Pilansberg is currently provided by diesel generators due to there being no connection to the electricity grid. The Company's hybrid power station will provide clean renewable energy and will reduce the running time of generators by around 90%. The prestigious visitor centre is used by all who come to this popular game reserve. The agreement is for a period of 5 years during which the game reserve will purchase the electricity generated by the solar solution. The agreement is renewable beyond the 5 year period at the option of the game reserve. The hybrid solar power station will help to substantially reduce Co2 emissions and eliminate the noise pollution from the generators, thereby reducing the environmental impact of this spectacular location. Humayun Mughal CEO of Ultima, said: "The signing of the power purchase agreement represents another step forward in the company's strategy of providing flexible renewable power solutions to a wider market. We are very pleased to have entered into agreement with the visitor centre at Pilansberg Game Reserve and to be associated with the provision of green energy within an area of significant environmental importance. This is the first deployment of a solar solution of this type in a games reserve and we expect many other sites to follow this example." In January this year, you posted: """I just sold 250,000 UTN @ 1.03p & i am out for now but i still like UTN.GL""""" Are you still waiting to get back in at 0.5p?
Try if you can do it.
If any company lost 8P per share for a long time it is usual to pay £1 for the whole company just to make it legal.
Base on your logic, since Barclay's eps is -8p, does it mean that you can buy each Barclay share for 0p and they will give you 0.8p with each share?
Seems a fair price to me.GL.
Your fair price will be 0.05p base on your trading effort.
A fair SP for UTN would be 0.5p based on 10 years EPS of 0.05p per share.GL.
Sorry no news.I sold 250,000 UTN in one go@a fair profit Good Luck.
