DGR hi,
Well done, that's the spirit especially with our Ex DD just around the corner, 3rd Oct only 5 working days away. Its hard to believe that the SP has fallen, but I believe it will rise by the W/E and maybe early next week until the EX date.

Nice to be able to get a few more below the max price i'm willing to pay
All this uncertainty is Not helping our SP at all, very disappointing we are now under 1.60, need some kind of shake up for sure !!!!!!! Listening to the BBC news this morning is just depressing to say the least, best go for a walk in the rain, much more enjoying :-)
Hi Nige,
According to Buffet, no matter how great the talent or efforts, some things just take time.
Not certain how we arrive at No Brexit and in what time frame but need patience to wait until the mud settles and the water is clear - not a strong swimmer so wearing a life jacket.
ATM, seems that certain sections of the media think that the best form of defence is attack - desperate times !!!

Hi Troubles
"You can't produce a baby in a month by getting nine women pregnant."
I assume you are referring to Jam tomorrow, but you will get 9 per year. You say you don't like chasing Divis, nor is it my method, but need to be patient.
In the mean time, might as well pick up Divis cos Sp's based on Politics rather than results, and if No Brexit I expect bdev Sp will recover quickly..
Having said that rdw increased by 15%, bdev 3% since FinRes. This is no great surprise, cos of lack of info from rdw (no PreFin). Normally the case Historically for rdw. Made a few pennies there, but Sold Float now, could go further?
Hope to hear from you soon and if not I will assume you have drowned and we will meet up in heaven some time!
Only a bit of light drizzle here, thought I might have heard a little thunder out to sea.
Still optimistic and think everything going according to Plan. No Brexit!

It's stopping a bit here, no wind yet, got a leak in my porch from bonnet tiles damn things too much mortar to repair
Just knocked of dry first hour light rain now heavy covers and gone. Be interesting to see what happens to do in half an hours time!
What about the wind too, its been pouring down all night and still is with lightning to top it off. I have a roofing contractor coming today at 10:30 to replace some slipped tiles ????? maybe not !!!
Bamps
10 day weather forecast shows rain every day
Well I can't see much building work being done today not seen rain like this since 2007 when Worcester got flooded bad. That was 2 weeks after I went to a site of 84 apartments being constructed by the river and 15" of flood water stopped work. Got some great photos of the cricket ground and racecourse underwater
Oh no just remembered I'm going to the races on Friday might need wellies :))
troublesome
No but but you could have some fun trying
Is it time to slap a windfall tax on hedge funds who are going to make £250m from shorting Thomas Cook.
Whose paying out this money probably end up with insurance money therefore you and me
Slapping a hefty tax on these HF and the firms allowing it could stop the practice
Hi Nige,
You can't produce a baby in a month by getting nine women pregnant.

Hi Graham and Bamps
I reckon companies can't go bust if they have loads of cash - hence builders. Let alone Growth, Margins, Divis…
Unbelievable how low their Per's are ie A bargain you will never see again.
Imho, only a matter of time before the market revalue them, and the potential is double (or more) than current prices.
According to my calcs bwy and rdw most undervalued (least cash), then psn (issues) and tw (poor interims) and least undervalued bdev - no worries, even though the market was not impressed by their FinRes (I was!) Bdev is a banker for me.
I think it is a good idea to spread investments between a few companies cos, one could always have a disaster. Which is the best hardly matters when they have such potential.
Incidentally, psn the biggest builder by MrktCap again, £6,747m, overtaking bdev £6,580m and tw £5,343m.
Hi Troubles
Got too much in bdev right now (for Divi), but Supreme Court ruling tomorrow, which could help Sp's. It is far better for your companies to be safe and undervalued, rather than risky and fair value, Buffet, he say, (or something like that). Just need to be patient.

Hi Tom
yes glad I got out when I did
Hi owls
I thought you had started posting on GGP but realised it was owlo
Not good for anyone when a company goes under, I'm still paying a monthly fee for the Carillion shares I held with Barclays while I was trying to close the account
I've had more shares go bust on the 250 than I have with my AIM stocks
ATB:))
Hi Owls
TC not my cup of tea. Had massive debts for years, that alone enough to put me off. At least you saved £25k - glass half full? Also, change in Ceo rarely good news, so holding less rdw and psn than I would have.
BoL
I bought TCG back in September 17 at £1.20, it went as high as £1.50 but I eventually bailed out at 60p a year later. Depending on your viewpoint I have either lost £25k or saved myself a further £25k loss. It always amuses me when people say that they never sell a share that has lost money.
I did make lots of money on TCG back in 2012 so can't complain overall. It all went downhill when Harriet Green left and they appointed Peter Fankhauser.
Hi Graham, bet your glad you got out.
ATB
Tom:-)
Hi Tom
I was aTC holder for about 5years got out about a month ago loss about 1k not to bad some you win some you lose
Hi Nige,
Think it will be all in the detail tomorrow and may need ' experts ' to decipher the results and consequences.
Agree regards Builders values but impatient for them to be reflected in terms of our SP - just collecting divis is not for me.
Glad you haven't passed away and coincidentally just dug a ditch in the garden if someone requires one.
BoL
Hi Troubles
Increase in uncertainty generally means decrease in Sp's but if supreme court rules against Govt, I think it makes BoJo's position impossible - so No Deal almost impossible, increasing Bldrs Sp?
Who knows? Main thing is it doesn't change Builders values Imho, just will need to wait far longer for Sp's to reach them if No Deal Brexit.
BoL
Hi Nige
Glad you ok I was missing your posts.
Thanks for your reply some confusion with Rio divi I've had £4.90 go in my account this year
Your remark about your bypass reminded me of my locals barmaid whose waiting in hospital for heart transplant. Nothing more precious than your health
ATB:))
Nige hi,
Yes I remember now you mention it, glad your in good health now.
Keep well.

Hi Monty
Govt can hardly do that when they desperately want more houses built.
I remain optimistic.
