Same here Legend - Thrown a few grand at this and will not be selling - let see if we get a spike before delisting or payout afterwards.
The BB will stay for a while until the EPIC is given up ((eg AMP is still there - it delisted a year ago). The BB will then be renamed with a dummy EPIC (usually starts with a 0 (zero) which will retain the history. Hundreds of these zombie BBs exist - some members use them for off-topic convos.
Not worth selling what I have left, being over 90% down.
I had shares in CTAG and MYSQ which have both listed and people are still occasionally posting after a couple of years. Looks like this will be my 3rd AIM investment that's going to go tits up.
Don’t mind me just topping up here few £1000 trades for me.
Your doing a great job Mibo
A few more days to keep that price down and a nice bonus for you from Odey
Maybe a FB TSTR chat - it will open it up further?
What will happen to this BB after delisting? The share won't exist on LSE anymore, so I assume the BB will also vanish. That would be a shame to lose all the useful posts from the past, but more importantly for the future, as the private company has no obligation to release news updates, it would be ideal for remaining investors to be able to stay in touch and discuss developments and share news we've found. Is anyone willing to set up a WhatsApp group say?
to get rid of yours
without too much loss
The fundamentals here haven’t changed since 30p+ just the company will be saving mass amounts of money/time by not being on AIM..
Try not to be too positive or Bibo will be back :) . He’s desperate to keep the share price low. He’s definitely working for Odey.
Exactly. In my opinion there will be fireworks here before the delisting with huge buys for these cheap shares so they won’t have to pay a premium at a later date. Someone is buying in the background here, this company isn’t exactly going bust!
Hold and enjoy the ride!
Hobbs, there was a very recent article which stated SPMP aimed to be at full capacity by the end of the year.
So Strategic & Precious Metals Processing are working to full potential news expected to realised of this before March 2021. TSTR know how much this company is worth and they want the massive profits all to them selves IMO scaring private investors out of there shares they know the shares here are worth much more then 4p. Don’t give up your shares cheap, it’s all a game.
@everybody
Many thanks for the input so far from all who have contributed. Anything anybody feels relevant, feel free to add. Every day a school day and all that!!

Worth a watch for anyone unsure of how a de listing works.
Bovey, each broker is different
The shares in ISA will have to be moved to a trading account within a certain period or you'll be given a share certificate. I think its 30 days they quote BUT II for example have kept some other delisted shares of mine in an ISA wrap for 12 months (but there was at least an intention to relist form this company and that looks to be happening now)
SIPP it stays as nil value and the reply I got from II on this was quite complex if you want to try and sell but the inference was that is there was some sort of settlement down the line it would be credited into the SIPP
So we was told when this share was 30p+ it was for the best interest of the shareholders that TSTR was to be delisted from AIM.. we now have confirmation of the delist next week and the share price is under 4p.. absolute bargain IMO happy to hold and trying to add more here.
Buy out option will be 10p+, I’m sure an ‘option’ will be negotiable also. 35p please and you can have my shares the company obviously has plans to grow substantially not to mention the plant being expected to be working at full 100% by end Q1.
@JohnLaw
Quick question. I have never been involved in a delisting previously. I have a small holding in a Sipp and an ISA. I am told by HL that if I don't sell they will show Nil value in each wrapper. I assume if a deal is done at a later date then any monies that may be I would be due on the shares that I hold and the money would be deposited in my accounts with HL? I am happy to hold and take a punt on things going upwards at a later date. Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
I bought shares in companies twice after a notice of delisting. One went t*ts up and was a total loss - management proved to be highly "questionable". The other repaid more than my investment within 12 months (by way of dividends) and is still happily trading. I ended up as the largest shareholder not in management.
I bought in her last week and I will probably buy more if the price keeps dropping as I expect a payout worth North of 20p. I think there is a fair chance (>50%) of this being in cash. Re an Odey buy-out I am a bit rusty on the Takeover Code but I believe in the case of a simple takeover (not the case here) there must be a cash offer not less than the highest price in the 12 months before the offer becomes mandatory. I need to research how it applies in this particular situation. Worst case Tri-Star gets wound up voluntarily and as there are valuable assets and few creditors I would still expect to come out in profit. Not one for widows and orphans though.
"But what's the risk of him trying to buy from weak/frightened shareholders in a private company, and offering them 2p per share? I suppose that seems unlikely - any panicked shareholders can sell today at 4p-odd in the market, if they want to?"
The risk is zero. That is what the Takeover Code is for. It will continue to apply for 10 years after delisting.
I’m sure that he purposely tried to make the RNS sound as negative as possible. He has previous.
I can categorically tell you that Adrian Collins has been picking up these cheap shares. He has
Adrian Collins, Chairman of Tri-Star commented: “I am aware that this may not be the outcome that some shareholders had envisaged, but I do believe that we will have a liquidity event in the foreseeable future and I hope this will give shareholders the opportunity to either receive a cash payment or shares in a listed SPMP.
“I would like to thank our partners, the management team and our shareholders for their dedication, commitment and efforts during this difficult time.”
The cash payment offer has got to be 10p+ for our shares IMO.
No way of telling if it's a buy or a sell. There were plenty of trades above that price yesterday.
Personally I reckon it's more likely to be part of Odey's sales, as per his holdings RNS today.
Whatever it's all "in the price" now as they say!
