oops! & apologies...
Dividend will be paid to shareholders who are on the register at close of business on 9th October. So, SP goes ex.div @ 8am Monday, 12 October. Sorry about that!
From RNS re. Interim Results...
"An interim dividend of 8.0 US cents per ordinary share was declared by the Board of directors on 29 September 2020. It is payable on 6 November 2020 to shareholders who are on the register at 9 October 2020. This interim dividend, amounting to $7 million, has not been recognised as a liability in this interim financial information. It will be recognised in shareholders' equity in the year to 31 December 2020."
GLA
your wrong its today hence the drop, checked srg divi history
Pretty sure we are xd today so we are up nearly 3p so to speak divi 6.5p please dyor.
Seems to be some split opinions on TSG today with some hefty buys and sells, which probably reflect the world views on market crashes, Brexit, Covid, US elections etc etc.
Intriguing times we’re living through, which will be interesting to watch even if portfolios dip. Should be short term, especially for TSG and gold prices.
Serious or not, how do you see the year ending?
The market is often focussed on the current price of a commodity and slow to realise the effect of cumulatively raised prices.
Q3
"Operational performance in Q3 2020 has been in line with Q2 2020 during which it produced 11,419 oz. of gold with an average feed grade of 7.57 g/t."
Average price of Gold for the period $1850? Q3 Revenue $21m
No wonder they are paying a record dividend they are embarrassed by the amount of cash they are raking in against an embarrassing low sp .... they need 1.50 for bonus shares and I think they will get it.
I think it has gone largely unnoticed that we have started mining grades of 18 g/t in vein 25 and that there are much higher grades to come. Q1 was awful for a number of reasons (covid impact on AISC and production, low grades ), and I think that has affected the sp. When I run the numbers through a spreadsheet I get a very pleasant surprise !
Gold is looking really strong like this share
I think you are right. I think he has to be incapable of carrying out job, same for Pence. 25th amendment.... L think. I speculated in jest.
Trump might be isolating, but surely he is still in charge via video and phone etc. If he finishes up on a ventilator then things might be different. If he gets no symptoms then it might indicate that his doctor’s prescription of hydroxychloroquine was a preventative after all.
It could get very dramatic if Trump has given it to Pence because that means Speaker Pelosi will be in charge. She will get a turbo fitted to the printing press. Strange times.
Now moved clear of $1900. with Trump contracting C19. depending on how he does there could be dramatic moves ahead.
Furthermore, we have made solid explorational progress during the period, completing our 25,000 metre drilling programme at the Asacha licence area. We look forward to reporting the results of drilling at Vein 25 and the other highly prospective exploration targets at the Asacha Gold Mine. unquote
The Directors need to get the share price up to £1.50 to gain their rewards and the second half of the year results should set that target on its way and with Vein25 it should be achieved.
Now only 9 days up to and including 09 October to be invested and secure 6.6% dividend yield at this 95p share price (8 cents/ 6.25p per share). At some point we will also get: "Upgraded dividend guidance for the full year to be announced shortly" as stated in the Interims, so over the full FY who knows what cumulative div yield will be at this equivalent share price: 14% in total perhaps?
Normally ex-div shares of course dip slightly, but after 9-Oct, Q3 results should hit shortly thereafter, with what should be a stellar set of results with avg. gold price of $1,900 and production of circa 11k Oz, so we should have significant share price appreciation too on top of a bumper dividend yield, if Q3 delivers as per guidance.
You're taking it far too personally, I never accused you of anything accept perhaps not fully understanding how mines operate, and that the cost were no surprise and it was a surprise to me you didn't seem to realise it was not a problem. It's the nature of mining, nature throws up problems like poorer grades and collapses of ground (didn't they lose some workings that led to this)?
I may well come across as patronising and if so you better just ignore me, I will challenge anyone I think is wrong and expect the same - its' a debating forum after all.
Can't we just move, if you want to have a last snipe at me go ahead. Remember you put a question in your post /(as I have done in this) so I answered you, I thought I was being helpful.
Moving on Gold has just touched 1900/oz again, that is great for confidence even if it retreats a little.
jtd still a patronising bafoon...I never said it was going to crash, nor would I want it to I'm invested. fact is aisc are massively up and that would temper excitement...the divi yield is high, the sp would be a lot higher if everyone agreed with the pump merchants expecting this to rocket
nail on head in terms of jointhedots read - a few posts down - on the future being very bright here imho
Accepting the extremely punchy and regular volatility here may not be for the feint hearted, more generally, this is a share that I am confident to very confident on in 2021, whatever way the global macro cookie crumbles.
ethical - take the comments on the chin don't offended. You can call me all the names you want. it doesn't hurt, you can like it or lump it but all I said was true.
This is about TSG, not me or you and all is well - no sell off.
jtd - you sound like you are a bit of a patronising bafoon who loves the sound of their own voice or at least the sight of your own words....empty vessels and all that.
It's right at the bottom of the RNS.
Ex-div 9/10, dividend paid 6/11.
At what date do you have to be a shareholder to get the dividend? Thanks
The Russians like a lie in, its always the same great news met by stifled response here and come 10am in moves out of the reds and into the blues (not a political statement).
