Looks like someone at betmgm has screwed up their proposition. I was in GVC very early on, made decent money. gutted didnt get out at the high with the draftking chat....but glad to say I have been out for a while. MGM might come in with another bid but cant see it being a big premium (no one else can bid against them really)...I see this staying stagnant like Ladbrokes did.
Sold out a chunk above £50, looking to get back in if/when it goes down a bit.
The NHS needs a knife taken to it, not more cash or more people. it needs to revert back to being an emergency health service first for British taxpayers/benefits claimants and British people and foremost not all things to all people [across the world]. its nonesense what some people get on the nhs. Anyone that doesnt have a British NI number should stump up with a credit card as they do elsewhere in the world.
Might break 60 before too long...
If they own 20% of a £2bn company - thats makes up 80% of cgeo market cap...alongside geo it has some very nice portfolio companies with dominant positions in Georgia (though its a very small market). given the weighting of BGEO now in my portfolio i'm a tad over exposed to Georgia - lovely country if you ever have the chance to visit.
I really don't understand why anyone would have a store credit card...who in their right mind would go into debt just to by unnecessary crappy fast fashion. You'd have to be really stupid....
Well said Gate13boy....we can not continue with the never never forever, there will be some pain for the uk economy....as there will be for everywhere. But Britain as a low tax haven (which is what the IMF and other globalists are petrified of) will come out of this richer and much stronger. I don't see house prices tanking....I do see interest rate rises positively impacting lloy profits though
indeed wtf haven't the supermarkets been hammered given that they have benefited so massively from covid....wtf wasn't amazon hammered, supermarkets and amazon benefitted at the cost of small businesses. Energy is a competitive marketplace (unlike supermarkets and Amazon) already, no need for WFT
I don't know, it looks about right...pleased to have bailed on this at £22/share - much of which was hype around ridiculous and pointless lockdowns and people not wanting to go to the shops...now normality is kicking in. can see this going lower when it hits sub 8 I might be back in
I actually think the story is quite good, its been a bit misunderstood and people are bailing when the share price went down (always going to happen when the confetti starts raining down). but look at this way, they now have an early path to revenue and are debt free - how many new aim companies do you know have that situation? I expect more positive news to come. that said I have not seen the webcast yesterday, waiting to see a replay. I have a very small position here, will add if it goes lower
many of the smaller suppliers outsource hedging to big companies - so Good Energy uses Shell. Ecotricity have been after Good for years, Juliet cant stand Dale....thats the basis for the knock back historically, I assume she and friends owns a wedge of stock still...as well as being non exec
Great Post Ed_win! Thank you for that....4,000 or even 8,000 sku's really isn't that many...I am a believer in OCDO though I've cleared my Ocado shares, just because they looked a bit toppy for now and I've had good profit, but I'll be back in though (hopefully at a lower price)
I see CWD getting taken out by someone, its too easy to take value out of a company in this much of a mess
jtd still a patronising bafoon...I never said it was going to crash, nor would I want it to I'm invested. fact is aisc are massively up and that would temper excitement...the divi yield is high, the sp would be a lot higher if everyone agreed with the pump merchants expecting this to rocket
jtd - you sound like you are a bit of a patronising bafoon who loves the sound of their own voice or at least the sight of your own words....empty vessels and all that.
20% increase in AISC might have something to do with the drop?
