I am with MM here. The posts so far are just the same old, same old drivel.
Pretty obvious who has been devoid of conversation for 2 weeks. The dam has been broken this morning though and it is all just flowing in full flood. Oh for something new and relevant.
Finally, criticism of our BOD making false promises , IMHO , has resulted in them playing down that RNS for fear that it turns into another false dawn from a source that is beyond our control!
Hydrogen hinges on the IPO ......... that is the key to 2022 ...... and, if it is a false dawn, then CBM is ready to be escalated as some of you expect i.e. before the IPO news is announced? imho total madness for the same of a few ""coming months" less the period since 11th Nov , Remembrance Day for two reasons later this year?
Where did you hear that Whizzer?
On November 11th ,the RNS said
"At the Lesedi Power Project ("Lesedi") Tlou and hydrogen technology partner Synergen Met are working on combining large, established natural gas reserves with abundant solar energy to produce green hydrogen, thus providing a complementary range of cleaner and greener power generation options.
Key Points:
Green Hydrogen production planned at Lesedi in 2022
Prototype Engineering proceeding to schedule
Net Zero CO2 emissions potential and the possibility to generate Carbon Credits
Synergen Met IPO planned in the coming months"
It clearly depends on those "coming months" , and how many of them we are prepared to give S.M.??
Forget CBM power , would you buy shares in a company with that prospectus?
I simply cannot understand folks who are selling at less than than 2.5p a share!!!!
I suspect this qualifies as an intelligent post in someone's eyes :O)
Winni , I suspect the 'intelligent' word was put in for the benefit of the poster you mentioned :O)
I also know that MM and I are both on the Hydrogen case with more hope than most of you.
If S.M. are successful our route to market is totally mapped out for us!
We will be earning before Xmas with some Solar in place (so poles and wires may be tested with Solar power, once they are ready) and additional wells being opened up for more CBM (and Hydrogen and Carbon) with, maybe, more power for the poles and wires!
I might be wrong , but the only thing left to consider imho is Mamba to Orapa pipeline!
Is that MM's intelligent idea? Unless he knows something that we do not (yet) , surely not?
Poles and wires are definitely urgent, the need to kick start this project is immense after all the let downs and time wasted! The bod are giving synergen met a year to get everything working
Whizzer, TLOU await news from Synergen Met to determine if Hydrogen needs to be prioritised or not.
If Hydrogen is the priority then pole and wires are less urgent.
If S.M. renege on the wishes to install a prototype at Lesedi within the first 6 months , then poles and wires , are back to the top of the list.
We need the poles for both Solar and CBM electricity which could be deliverable before the poles are completed.
I hope TLOU are committed to getting the poles up because they will definitely be needed whether sooner or later.
If Hydrogen goes to plan then it will be a bonus - and Tlou will have decisions to make.
Our partnership probably dictates that we fulfill our side of the deal legally.
It is not all cut and dried , but there a pot of gold at both ends of our rainbow - it is just a question of which end produces first?
Just merely pointing out that the bod have absolutely nowhere to hide this year if they do not get moving, it’s all on them to kick this off!
MM for an intelligent character (allegedly) that is a very unimaginative statement.. Mr M will retort I would guess .. anyway let’s hope things get going pronto on all fronts !
Whizzer it’s Africa nothing will happen till the end of the month.. begin of feb .. if by then things aren’t moving then you can Moan with some justification!
I just find I’m constantly disappointed with the bod, after the length of time it took to get the ppa and funding the bod could have made a big statement by starting the year off with an rns stating boots on the ground and a road map going forward, gas flows etc but here we are still in limbo!
Even when we’ve got everything in place we need the bod still decide to move at a snails pace! I really hope they can move forward in leaps and bounds this year but have major reservations regarding the slow pace of everything! You can’t even blame the bots government any more, it’s all on the bod now!
I think I'm more aligned with Winni; lets focus on dewatering and poles and wires and moving forward as quickly as possible with the main show; which after all is the reason why most of us invested here in the first place; solar is fine as its complimentary but lets not get too distracted by LNG; its a sideshow and should remain just that. I'm still disappointed that we haven't seen any sort of plan now that the funding has been resolved - our contractors are all professional organisations who will have provided one to TLOU; so why aren't they sharing it - it just sows the seeds of doubt that this might be a much longer project than many of us expect.
Haha, non taken MM.
Thank you for your contribution ;)
Agreed MM, but they were more constructive that your post.
Not one of your better posts I am afraid.
What is unintelligent about expecting improved dewatering and better gas flows, and the installation of poles and wires commencing? Intelligent was a poor choice of word perhaps?
Thanks for all your views.
Does anyone have any intelligent ones?
Graham?
Looking in for the first time for a few weeks, hopefully In 2022 Brad and Moagi will get a room and resolve their manlove issues. Apart from that I agree with Whizzer... I know... Get the powerlines up and a world of opportunity is opened to us.
However the main reason for looking in was to sincerely wish all genuine holders here a happy, healthy and prosperous coming 12 months. GLA
Well we wait as we have waited before, only this time we have a few things in are armoury..PPA., Funding, dewatering has moved forward
and poles and wires are ready to go ! It feels much better than the last 7 years .. however not in the pocket .. which is why we are all here in the first place .. As they say onward and upward.. over to you Mr T . The Gilby is on the. March … hopefully !!!
I would like to see an rns stating the poles and wires have started! That would be a nice start.
Gas prices around the globe must surely have the attention of the biggest players.
Global prices is our problem , I wonder where Southern Africa comes in the priority list compared to Europe , America and eastern Asia? I seriously wonder if TLOU ought to reconsider the transmission lines and go for higher capacity pylons but that little voice in the back of my head tells me TG just wants to get us up and running for now , and the scale of our expansions comes later! Is he expecting us to be doing that or one of the big boys?
IMHO , news from our partners in Brisbane will determine what happens in 2022 first! If their prototype goes perfectly the emphasis could be on Hydrogen, if not , CBM power. Whichever it is, the common denominator is extra wells at Lesedi as HB2 noted! And for Hydrogen route, Solar power.
Everyone a winner imho - when rather than if TLOU succeeds and in what sequence? And then there is Orapa!
I'm thinking that completion of dewatering and confirmed commercial flow rates are the big kick forward. Massive reserved that are ready to go are surely of great interest to some of the bigger players.
I await the put downs and lengthy back stories.
OK guys, so what major news do we expect from TLOU in 2022 that will really push the SP and bring some excitement to this stock other than from the few vocal posters on here?
