'89 must have been referring to this I reckon: https://www.world-nuclear-news.org/Articles/Ten-EU-nations-call-for-nuclear-s-inclusion-in-tax & Assessment of nuclear energy @ https://ec.europa.eu/info/business-economy-euro/banking-and-finance/sustainable-finance/eu-taxonomy-sustainable-activities_en
Hi, hoopy
The volume of trading here is very low. There's no selling pressure; but on the other hand, not many people are buying, either. At some point that will change, in our favour.
Hi, Emty
I think what's happened is that the word has migrated out of biology into finance. As you can probably guess, one of my hobbies is lexicography.
Best wishes
Hi, I was curious about the use of Taxonomy in this context as had not heard it used before like that.
Came across this. "A sustainable finance taxonomy (hereinafter “a taxonomy”) is a classification tool helping investors and companies make informed investment decisions on sustainable economic activities. It is supposed to establish market clarity on what is sustainable in terms of green or social issues.29 Jul 2021"
are now only worth one half of the initial $1.65m.Must mean something much bigger is up.
caz
norm i think
uncertaincy is always bad news
good news ...........i personally think is our new lady at the helm
she seems to have given thor a better face
dyor cat
lifted from the RNS Tweenie....
"These funds will allow Thor to maintain its intensive exploration programs at our exciting Ragged Range gold & nickel project, including follow up RC drilling and regional exploration, as well as exploration drilling at Wedding Bell Uranium-Vanadium Project, USA and Molyhil tungsten-molybdenum-copper Project, NT."
They asked for a delay on the Wedding Bell permit on the same day (14 Dec) the above RNS was issued.... so in my mind they must know they can't physically go drilling in Q1 2022 for reasons unknown to us. Maybe there are no drilling contractors available? I don't know... I think there is more to it and the last RNS is looking rather disingenuous to say the least.
Hi, Snooz
"Taxonomy" is correct English; it means a system of classification. But I agree this doesn't have much to do with getting permission to drill.
I'm glad the share price here is stable; unlike the horrid nightmare unfolding at GGP and OMI.
San Miguel just has a lot of tick-boxes to tick I guess.
> "the Taxonomy decision might of been made by then"
the what decision?
Who knows the Taxonomy decision might of been made by then ............. maybe
Delay in getting permit approval could actually be a blessing. Reason being there's a lot of news flow to come on several fronts.
1) Ragged Range
2) Molyhil
3) Alford East
4) Kapunda
Above news flow could come at anytime.
If permit comes in for Wedding Bell in Feb/March next year, then I think they would go straight into a drilling campaign once the weather improves in Colorado.
"to fund exploration activities at the Company's project interests, with particular emphasis on the Ragged Range gold and nickel prospects in the Pilbara, Western Australia"
Lifted from the rns.
Not ideal, but the delay re uranium does seem genuinely to be out of their hands.
Happily holding.
so they basically raised money for drilling at Wedding Bell knowing full well they had no permit in place and were unlikely to get said permit until at least 18 March 2022? The mind boggles.... looks like placees may have been fleeced.
>State permit decision extension - deadline pushed
BTW - to verify the permit status oneself rather than accept the word of someone who's been staggering around his home at 4:30am trying to find the gadget that lets out a short but ear-piecing wail every ten-ish mins (turned out to be a low battery warning in a CO2 detector) - docs can be seen at https://dnrweblink.state.co.us/drms/search.aspx , search for P2021008 (or P2021009 or P2021010) to confirm.
GLA.
Just looked at Wallet Investor's forecasts for this. They are ok with it. For amusement, have a look : )
Oh well. Not a lot you can do about that. Still, I doubt any drilling would have been done in winter.
State permit decision extension - deadline pushed
another 3 months.
Oh, its been deleted
Sorry guys, we just had a random post and I wanted to leave a warning so no one clicked the link. Looks like the 'reported post' worked in time. Thanks
I am sure Emma, with a total of one post has your best interests at heart...
Warrants are issued and are like "Buy Options" - so if you do a deal for shares as a major investor or as part of a general fundraise, then there may be warrants issued as well as the shares you receive, warrants may also be issued as director or staff bonuses. The deal for these warrants was done a long time ago, as a promise of shares at a fixed price in the future. So these options were taken up, and the warrants cancelled. Its not a new deal, just the closure of an old deal. Always good to get cash in the bank.
basically, theyve just sold a load of shares to raise $38k
its onlyasmall ammount,so little effect on the sp
so a neutral rns m8
Hi guys.
I am a small volume investor compared to probably many of you.
Can I ask, is the latest RNS news a good or a bad thing?
I’m struggling to understand the implications.
Can anyone help explain to my poor tired brain, what this latest news means - in plain language.
Thanks all.
with one one blow of his hammer smote the cursed shorters

Thanks for those links Troajan - I've printed off the pdf so I can keep reminding myself visually of the 'expected' ups and downs ahead of me - both here and GGP (been there for about 4 years now and dismayed at the latest downward movement, but holding fast). Helpful links like these really are appreciated.
Raising money by whatever means usually means dilution and share price fall but I guess its the ASX trading halt whilst placing put the skids under it temporarily. Why AIM don't adopt similar suspensions when placing is proposed or happening I don't know. It would remove alot of skulduggery and insider trading at a stroke but then enforcement and punishing insider dealing was never was or is never a strong point where the FCA (FSA were even worse) is concerned. A free for all on AIM wild west is the norm and I guess will always be with the favoured few in the know continuing to rip off us small investors on a regular basis.
