The Uranium and Vanadium projects are in Colorado and Utah. Pilot Mountain has Tungsten. A small resource that they could not secure a JV 2 to 3 years ago even though THR went through a process.
Pilot Mountain has nothing to do with the Uranium assets
That was my interpretation that THR still have the U asset? I'll research further but grateful for any others understanding
Pretty certain there's no horde of uranium at pilot mountain which is the Tungsten deposit flipped to POW.
Dyor gla
So just as uranium prices start to shoot up thor passed the asset to pow. Not a wise move in my opinion given that there is a defined resource ready to be mined. No wonder Paul Johnson of POW was all over it. You know the ex ceo of ggp and their golden resource.
Need some updates on Uranium here

Increase in US U miners last week c 25%
Here's an excellent interview with Paul Johnson, CEO of POW. I don't hold any shares in POW myself (except indirectly through Thor); but may buy some in the not too distant future.

I have thought further about the two events last week. Perhaps they're connected. Maybe Billing opposed the sale of Pilot Mountain, was then outvoted by the board, and felt he had to resign (whereupon the others went "yipee").
It is possible to read Nicole's statement as a piece of irony; "we have greatly appreciated his significant contribution, etc."
The sale of Pilot Mountain (although mostly for shares, not cash) will certainly help us, by reducing the need for further dilution. There will be more fund-raising, but less than there otherwise would have been. And we have to hope that the share price of POW rises, rather than falls.
On a more personal note, I am enjoying my time as a shareholder here (despite carrying a perceptible loss), because the company is interesting to follow, and to speculate on (in both senses of the word).
Cheers Impy - I don't know much about the fella but if you say he's good.......
: )
Hi, Illaquens @15.58
I certainly agree with your second sentence, and particularly like the words "the executioner," which conjure up images of the guillotine and Marie-Antoinette in 1793.
If it is Potter, I think we're lucky, but he's more likely to put in some one else. That he is the power-broker, I have no doubt.
Best wishes
Hi, Expru @15.37
This is not going to happen; but if it did, the share price would triple immediately. Gervaise has a lot of followers, for reasons too obvious to mention.
Best wishes
No, HH it will be Mark Potter. I reckon he was the executioner! Then appoint an additional high profile NED. Most likely at the same time. Probably next week?
Herne - if Gervais does come in what will that do to the share price??? How influential could he be???
You never know, Gervaise might be waiting in the wings.
We're now waiting for two kinds of news. Drilling results, and the appointment of a new chairman.
There was clearly a coup d'état against Billing. Did he jump or was he pushed? He was pushed, and rightly so.
Under new management, and with our present assets, the company has a bright future. I don't expect another GGP; but I do expect decent profits for us all.
More from Nicole https://twitter.com/GallowayWarland/status/1433757149948092416?s=19
I don’t think it will be long,if the share price movement on uranium stocks are anything to go by up 40% in two trading days some of them.
I wish some other companies would give us more input.
Very much liking Nicole for her attitude in involving us as she has been.
I guess we still have a number of investing wannabes still loitering. Would be lovely to start approaching 80’s again…. Feels like it’s itching to
And another tweet from Nicole. https://twitter.com/GallowayWarland/status/1433729617186078726?s=19
Just to add…. Sometimes it can be worth doing a dummy buy or sell to see what’s actually being offered. The “advertised” spread is often quite different, certainly on quieter stocks.
Example…. Just tried both (buy and sell). Spread showing .70/.75….. quotes offering .70 sell and .719 as buy therefore will show as sell for either option. This can of course vary depending on the broker used but I’d suggest there’s been quite a few buys over last few days that may have appeared as sells
Nice one herne.
Refreshing to see something “real” on our investments
Thanks for sharing, ATB
Informative tweet from Thor on their Alford East Pump test. https://twitter.com/ThorMining/status/1433591124397068296?t=88tpAIOh25EYNhRwgEdcDQ&s=19
My buy at 0.715p is showing as a sell so I think there are a lot more of the trades shown as sells are in fact buys.
I'm surprised the share price hasn't risen. Although Billing's departure is important to us on this chatboard, most people don't know, and are not interested. This is despite Nicole's PR, which is excellent.
One day, this will change, and the herd will arrive. And then we will be able to say, "we were there first."
