Oh that I've lived to see this day.
Yeah..! it's going to be miserable being back in the 20's :)
Indeed; after holding for fifteen years and multiple false dawns this may be the beginning of genuine progress. Everything crossed!
Resistant yo good news. Was few in the past and share didn’t move
.... HUGE ....!
Nice one SYM
GOOD ONE .
no figures ,or amounts but very good for the company and share holders . well done all .
Massive contract with a huge company who's packaging of their products sets their trademark.
Will hopefully use obscene amounts of D2P.
Cheers
Morning all, here’s to a good rise today.
Very significant update and a massive validation for d2p. No details on commercial terms but I think safe to assume that this will make a large difference to sales and profits over the next years. Global sales should follow shortly. Sym true to their guidance that 2022 will see step shift in sales revenue.
Fantastic news this morning, just what has been needed.
GOOD for the company but ,if i were another company , in the same game, and we are talking big traditional established company s with big budgets , you will try through what ever means , to keep other people out . that s how it
is . UNLESS there is major change .and governments back the product there will be no change . I am invested a long time ,i think the name of the company should change ,and the sales people need to really rethink there strategy . difficult to do , BUT THIS PRODUCT NEEDS MORE COVERAGE AND PUBLICITY .
GGOD LUCK,ALL .
Very good news and should help an already strong case with the EU. Court cases usually run over time so suspect the end of the year at the earliest. I hope Sym can make a sale or two on the strength of this case.
EU action
Symphony's legal team has received and reviewed the Defences served by the three Defendants (the Commission, the Parliament and the Council of the European Union ("EU")) to the action it has brought against them in the General Court of the EU. The action is in relation to their decision to adopt Article 5 of the Single Use Plastics Directive 2019/904 ("the Directive").
The Defences did not reveal anything unexpected, and Symphony's legal team remain confident that the EU acted unlawfully in imposing a ban on a material which they call "oxo-degradable plastic" in Article 5 of the Directive. In any event, Symphony does not accept that the ban applies to oxo-BIOdegradable plastics, which are made by incorporating Symphony's d2w masterbatch into ordinary plastic.
Symphony's legal team has accordingly filed Replies to each of the Defences, but a decision by the court is not expected for another 12-18 months.
Yes - just call it biodegradable, something like “d2w - the plastic that biodegrades”. It is the oxo bit that makes it too complicated for the general public. Put that in small type somewhere.
All well and good and may be a precedent but every future legal battle costs money and wastes time - not to mention the prospect of losing!
I have said this before - Change the Name!
See latest Annual Report. Oral hearing in Luxembourg expected this year.
alas I don't know Moab ..
RNS news on this front seemed to dry up a year ish ago, I think - happy to stand corrected as I may have missed some news subsequently as I don't follow this share closely, as not a big bet on scheme of things fo me.. and apols if i'm out of date - around time of EU defence lawyer documentation submission to sym.l legal team earlier in 2021..
When do we hear a ruling on SYM's action against the EU; has anyone any idea?
and should help Sales in Latam and beyond..
...and is a great precedent for more legal case oucomes in the pipeline..
I have plenty higher hopes for this share off the back of this RNS..
Leak…we need the flood gates to open.
Bloody hope so...
….trading today. Something leaked?
Not sure we are ever going to see any measurable uplift in share price .Back in Sept 21 Symphony's CEO Michael Laurier said "We have been working for some time with customers in Canada, and approval from Health Canada now enables this project to proceed more quickly to commercialisation." I know we aren’t going to get a miracle but 10 months later, nothing! If this is such a great product surely there must be an update? Come on Sym get the finger out and replace the sales team if they aren’t performing.
Lets hope for something substantial soon to get the share price up
Very odd the deal they had with meditech who were going to buy into the company, not really explained why they pulled out
Where are the new deals? What happened with the new specialist sales team recruited in the last year? Pushing paper and pens or getting on the phone to get deals ‘over the line’! Super product, just needs people to get out there and sell sell sell. Just do it. Please.
