I agree Yellow , I have just posted asking if someone can follow up on this .
Good job HL haven;t done the same given they have a lot of holders ..
The news about the behaviour of Barclays is disturbing
Sharesoc are dealing with the law society over the balls up
re voting - please pass this on to them - their phone
number is on their web site - I believe the director dealing
with it is Cliff Weight.
Thanks Gertfrobe as that can'y be right
FFC I’ve put it on ShareSoc.
Gertfrobe are you a member of sharesoc ? can you pass that on over there please

When I asked Barclays to register a No Vote a week or so ago I received email reply from Corporate Execution stating there were two meetings and it would cost me $200 per proxy no vote. Didn't bother.
I explained to him that Barclays lack of action was beneficial to the II .
He then said “ I can see your point”
what a rubbish, bod can't approve sheet... yes good call to put it in writing
I asked Barclays, why they are not informing Sirius shareholders of the vote.
Barclays replied that the BOD have approved the takeover, so there’s no point.
And went on to say the takeover was announced at the AGM.
I have requested this in writing so that I can publish it.
My incredible late son traded regularly in this share. So I couldn't help treating myself
to two lots of 22,000 shares yesterday in the belief that there is still some action to be
had here. Anglo are picking this up for peanuts. Others will see value. GLA.
What details are these?
Yorkshire bred
I'm not sure how the process works but when I registered my vote with my broker they said my intention would be passed on to Sirius (whatever that means).
It should not be passed on to anyone by HL, for the very simple reason it would affect the share price. It should be kept confidential
Yorkshirebred , jpm , i think are the biggest instigater in all this fiasco , i just get the feeling this could have played out so much different , without jpm , being the so called advisors at sirius. , as many have posted you ll never take on jpm , there to big ,
So HL has now closed the vote to its shareholders. in anticipation for the Vote next week.
They now have an indication as to what it is, assuming they have a large customer base I wonder if this information will be passed to either BOD or shareholders?

Yorkshirebred -make sure you keep the details of this safe -
Oh! and if you can join Sharesoc ..
All the best!
Enjoyed reading many of your posts through the years. Yes it’s sad to see LTH leaving but completely understandable. Good luck for the future Cranleigh ...Cheers
This is a matter that Fraser must explain. You do not appoint a financial advisor without terms and conditions that prohibit that advisor or its associated companies from shorting when that will adversely affect a funding exercise
With you there wolverstone , No and holding bwtfdik ?
Can't say I'm not worried that some lth that I respect have gone though !

I honestly believe that this is far from over and a done deal to AAL. Have such a strong feeling there is a better offer coming in favour of shareholders, When everyone is panicing hold steadys. I am voting no and holding. Good luck to all
I’m sorry as well Cranleigh - I very much appreciated all your posts. I wish you all the very best as well.
Cranleigh - Sorry to see you go, but totally understand your rationale. Not many original posters left now. You have been a top poster and I wish you all the best going forward.

am i missing some thing who is this other invester ? dont mean to be negative but i sold at a huge loss surley if it goes into admin some one will get it for peanuts
Why is JP Morgan shorting the shares as financial adviser to Sirius?
Voted NO to both propositions.
Loss at present £49,000 - which will be very difficult to recover.
I still think the best option is to defeat this takeover, keep the company in our hands and seek a better deal.
Hopefully some value can be regained if we succeed. If not the loss is what it is - I'd rather go down fighting than just hand it over. GLA LTH whichever way you vote. Hope to see some of you here again after 03/03.
