Love that phrase "when the belts are running" !!
SM14b may have been behind schedule but with 3d walling machines in operation on the other shaft they cannot move on . So no delay after all as machines can't move on yet to SM14b. Just a thought.
old age it is roulette, i'm thick as 2 short planks don't know how to do it, but I know this is a great stock to hold, thanks anyway.
Or souls!!
I think we have an induced fragility because of the PIs and the fact that many will not have a long term plan in place for their investments. It is very quick easy to trade in the modern era and very cheap too, combined with the “must have everything now” impatience of many people today this creates a very likely knee jerk as soon as any downturn is perceived. In truth this stock is as robust as can be for its position of progress. EVERYTHING is going to plan and it is a very well researched and managed plan. There is no real vulnerability as we have a ‘gold mine’ and we are very steadily moving towards it. However, as many have alluded to, the reality is a panic reaction perfect for tree shake manoeuvres and that equals 2 to 3 pence daily ranges while some people ‘flap’. Of course, some very calm and astute soles will make money out of this because they have a proven strategy.
We still have something g like 6 weeks of H1 remaining. We may/should hear something on a TorP between now and then. Stage 2 finance is not expected to be shored up until H2. If it came earlier than that then it will be the first early of the project. Where do you get the mine is ahead of plan bit from? The last I read it was trying to shore up a delay in the D walling. SM14b was significantly behind schedule! Ive been here since 6p and 8p pre North Dakota. That doesnt suggest Im a guru!!
I have been here a long time 3-5p days and all the way to 50p but I feel this is a very different situation I think we all know one way or the other stage two is in the bag and I think we all know when it's announced which could be any time soon the SP will rise significantly. This rise is not unfounded as previous rises have been the mine is ahead of plan in budget and winning take of deals. I am not saying people will take profit but the underlying strength is without question . I have what for me is a very significant holding and I am well in profit but no intention of selling rise or fall . I am convinced this will be trading in when the belts are running Tic Toc , Tic Toc
Tuckupp....why didnt you use the Bed & ISA facility?.....especially as you mention you want the price to hold steady? R
The share price is currently where it should be IMO. I don’t think that private investors have caused the latest sp maschinations, but none the less I hope that our BoD are taking the stewardship and care of the sp seriously. I can’t say that I’ve been overly impressed with the latest unforeseen departure. Onward and upward. Prost SL (PAAA, please extract your tongue from Scottys arse. Thanks)
Your right about PI, this share falls as fast as it rises with their sentiment!!
''you need to push your bed against the wall mate'' ..... Ha, ha. What a delightfully charming turn of figurative prose, Scotty. I liked that. Cheers, per ardua ad astra
Wow AlanG, you need to push your bed against the wall mate! Lmao. Twinkos observations are correct. This is PI driven. New PIs will be easily spooked by a tree shake. You have seen it manage many time here. There is absolutely nothing to stop it happening again. The market will hunt it in the direction of maximum volume. Thats where they make their money.
So in your opinion the SP increase is down to small investors ? Have you not considered that the SMALL investors have considered the SP cheap and are getting in before stage two funding is announced and more take of agreement. It is open knowledge that the Govenment will have some hand in underwriting the debt and also CF said NO Dilution. I suggest you will not be able to buy Sirius shares for 34p when stage two is announced which I expect will not be far away and the SP will in my opinion rise circa 15% . This mine is being built make no mistake about that we have a first class BOD who will see this through to the end. You sell if you want to take your profit but I see this being 60p-80p by Christmas Best Of Luck To All Investors Keep the faith and have patience and I suggest you ignore the would be de Rampers this stock is going one way and one way only UP !!!
Looking at the trades, it is nearly all driven by small PI deals and that concerns me. The market will be happy to take these folks money before dropping the price and watching them all sell out of fear. This bubble, as nice as it has seemed, may be a fragile thing. Just sayin.
Mysotis, I'm sorry but I don't know, I don't know and I don't know, respectively! On the other hand, I confirm the $350K translates to 39.8p/share at current exchange rate!!
sold 116988 shares Thursday at 34.202 to get 40k, now I want the price to hold steady or drop a bit to buy isas for myself and wife Monday when money comes available.
I think its more down to the bond conversion opportunity a few weeks back. Everyone who was likely to want to convert around this price did, and the other holders are likely to hold. This means we're unlikely to get more piecemeal conversions for the next few pence rise
I agree most institutions will wait until some major risks have gone...but I doubt if they are fussed so much about hardware on the ground, shaft sinking and tunnel work as about the $$$$ to achieve those things, ie that Stage 2 finance is secured! Since Vanguard came on board over a month back with 109m shares (2.3%), the II holdings are pretty steady at some 22% (Morningstar) or 20% (Reuters). So unless those sources have a significant lag, recent volumes seems to me to be PI-driven. Probably some profit-taking, maybe still some ISA activity, and above all the word being spread and existing investors getting more confident - sentiment.
I think any major institution is more likely to enter when risk is reduced to an acceptable level. I doubt that risk is achieved by PIs piling in with small holdings thus driving the MC up. For IIs to pile in, I think further advance is required driving the tunnel and sinking the shafts. For this we need more hardware on the ground than what is there at the present. Pension funds chasing a div may still be 3 yrs away from chucking their fund money into this pit.
hits new heights, big investors will be able to invest as they only invest on certain market cap!
Two types of shorts 1. The shorter borrows the share in exchange for a fee. 2. The shorter does not borrow the shorts. To close the shorts he needs to buy them from the market (or convert his CBs)
will be drawn in here as this is a Sirius (lol) investment for long term!
Shorting: selling shares that you don't own in the hope that you can buy them later for less than you sold them for. Useful if you expect the price to drop.
Great price .....but will it hold and why I'm sure we long term holders are all asking the same question
What are shorts and what does mean I share terms
