What would be the the chances of getting permission to sell some poly by road haulage in the very short term, in order to help fund the tunnel. Bit like selling oil whilst testing a bore hole. Or am I talking out the back of my *****.
We must be fairly near the golden granules by now.
We already have permission to truck ‘first polyhalite’. It will be intersected by the SBR well before the MTS is up and running, so we’re gonna have to get rid of it somehow anyway.
Incidentally, some people really showing their true colours today ain’t there?

PAAA - what’s your thoughts? Likely buy out from competitors or Gina or are knackered?
Look, I’m not gonna bang on chapter and verse, because, somewhat typically, I’m away from home and using my phone. However, it appears to me that there’s been a hell of a lot of over-exposed and under-informed money invested in this company. Much of which has been chanced by Brexiteering turkeys voting for Christmas. Project Reality coming to a place near you!
I’ve met Chris Fraser more than once, and I’ll certainly make no excuses for him (I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t want me to!), however, there can be no explaining today away as anything other than an screwup of significant proportions.
Having said that , some of the comments made today by a selection of punters, chancers, spivs and morons have been more than beyond the pale. Some of these nonentities have never tried to build anything in their lives - let alone do so whilst holding the hand of knicker-wetting PIs as they try to negotiate the global bond markets. Oh... and at the same time dig the biggest and deepest hole in Europe!
My opinion is Chris will get us all into a significantly better place than we find ourselves today. People can either believe in that or F off. I guess Chris will understandably feel the same.

I agree with much of what you say PAAA.
However, it is not B..... per se that is the biggest issue but rather, the uncertainty caused by our government’s pathetic approach to delivering the outcome of the referendum. I hold the Conservatives to account for this uncertainty and for having the referendum in the first place if Parliament was so set on not delivering on the outcome.
Good luck everybody.
OR
It’s parliament that has p**** ed about not just the gov , too many idiots rather fight against the referendum and feeding their egos , look where it’s got the country not just SM
Agreed PAAA,
What CF has done is give himself (and SM) 6 months breathing space to explore all the funding options rather than be up against a self-imposed deadline of 30th Sept. He will prioritise the spend and go hunting for alternative funding (with or without a strategic investor). His own shareholding tells me that he will be trying to avoid substantial dilution.
This isn’t a good day for calm, rational views but the morons we encountered today on this message board will be gone in time and things will settle down to await the next evolution of the funding story. In turn we will see the SP strengthen as news (and speculation) vie with each other.
I’m not selling and I await what will be an interesting 6 months. There will be share price volatility, yes absolutely, but the SP will strengthen over the coming days and weeks. We will now take a much greater interest in the build progress as we now know that the greater the progress, the better the chance of funding.
Post of the day PAA. Well done.
Always long term for me and I’ll reserve ultimate judgement once CF has exhausted all options (I was surprised how many he mentioned !)
Having followed, bought and sold in past, I do not believe its over for Sirius.
Why ??? Because this project has a huge following.
Remember our government is Conservative and only promotes private investment.
“particularly as regards the possibility of failure. ”

Hey ... if you’d have been around over the years - rather pitched up and formed a definitive opinion over a number of weeks - then you will have observed that I have often counselled caution and advised that this is very much a binary proposition. The trouble is, I was thinking often charged with being haughty, pompous, or sanctimonious.
And if you want me to be frank, you can stick your “support group” bulcacca too. I’ve never been one requiring any ‘support group’. You’ve obviously not noticed me swimming against the tide in these Brexiteering wastelands?
Ergo, you ain’t noticed ****.

Hi paaa.
I'll vouch for your advice. You did say to me to be careful as to how big a percentage I put into sirius. I listened but I still went my own way, no complaints ,i backed my own feelings and it appears i was wrong. Still a slither of hope they can sort this so we get something back.
how you can write positive things about Chris Fraser amazes me...unless of course you are actually an SXX employee.
He should be forced by shareholders to step down.
Serious question Gold1234 do you think anybody else could have done a better job?
Not trying to trip you up.
PAAA - I think that you are right, after looking carefully at all information available today I think that those long term holders who have had the guts to hang on today may well may well find that they are very pleased with their decision and faith in CF in the not to distant future GLA..
That's an interesting question Slurms...the answer has many facets.
Has CF done a good job of permitting a project ? Yes.
Has he done a good job of convincing private investors to part with cash ? Yes.
Has he done a good job of convincing the market there will be sufficient demand for what is a generally considered to be an inferior product ? No.
Have PI's been treated with respect ? No.
Has he convinced institutional investors that the development is low technical risk ? No.
Has he understood the end users demand requirements ? No.
Has he understood the debt markets ? No.
Ultimately, he's raised a bunch of money and started building some shafts and tunnels, which (with money in the bank) is not actually that challenging. I've always laughed when the company said work is progressing on time and on budget...given how early it has been in the physical development part of the project, this should be the case.
I think some people in here need a dose of reality about the situation. What’s happened here is like your paper boy saying thank you for paying my Wages in advance I can deliver a paper a day for 3 months or a apaper every other day for 6 months. After 6 months I need you to pay me in advance for another 6 months but I can’t guarantee if I can deliver papers for more than a month. No one would pay him in advance and yet same people will happily invest thousands in this company for similar scenario.
haha...that's one of the best analogies I've read.
you must be smoking some good gear buddy
Thank you for a considered answer gold1234.
yeah exactly the same as your paper boy analogy! not!
Croz, you have an interesting post history, not one positive in all your posts on every share!
you couldn't make it up!
Tell you one thing,With CF ,**** ups,If every one put a pound in today. There would not be an Issue. But, Hey.Good job he ****s up ,He been forgotten in the out back when he goes home!
