Good or educated guess there Stripe: bang on
AAU 17.5 million (Up 50% in three months) £997500
CORA 1.23 million (Up 5%) £104550
GGP 82 million (up 80% in three months) £16,810,000
KEFI 19.44 million (Last three months 1-2p 100%) £403,520
ALBA 26 million (400% up in last three months) (119,000)
ORCP 21.87 million (Down 30% last three months) (142,155)
Total current value of holdings at todays prices = £18,576,725 + Cash (unknown) against current Mcap of £10,360,000 represented a discount to NAV of 44.3% and should represent a SP of 32.26P using a share capital of 57,573,986
My guess is 32p
Should be a massive uplift if correct!

Forgive me for being Nieve. but what would that mean, - I understand it means Net Asset Value, - but not sure what that equates to,
Thanks

(GGP holder "diversifying")
Quarterly RNS on NAV coming up today between 11am and 2pm if history is any guide. If not today then Monday. It'll be a belter.
Yep. Also worth bearing in mind that Starvest NAV is ~30p per share currently (assuming the underlying share holdings haven't changed) ... but the stock is trading at 18p/share - a 12p discount. The official NAV update should be released on Friday 2nd October and I'm sure there will be a portfolio update to go with it. This should drive the discount narrower.
Have a look at the news from Ariana Resources today. SVE will be receiving a very tasty dividend. Not sure exactly how much yet but more than originally thought. How about SVE agreeing to pay some of this to shareholders. We have a dividend policy which is something like to pay out 50% of net profits so perhaps here is the chance for a maiden dividend. The market and me would love that.
Bought more, 2nd trade today, shown as a sell 18.6, lucky.
Thanks for the info, VV, very useful to know
ALBA have announced a placing at 27p this morning and GGP is off a tad at the time of opening, so our NAV will have fallen a bit today. I'm sure that was the right move by ALBA. Taking advantage of this great share price. Ariana Resources (AAU) are very close to announcing the final details on their new exciting J.V. Deal with an injection of $30m cash. That is said to result in a nice payout to investors so I expect the AAU share to remain strong. That injection of cash will be nice for SVE. Ariana Interims are also due later this month plus Quarterlies early October. In Quarter 4 there should be accretive news on the second mine at Tavsan and drilling results from Cyprus. So all looks good imo for Starvest's holding in Ariana Resources. By the way the ex Chairman of Starvest, Ronald Bruce Rowan owns c. 24.5m shares in Ariana which is 2.3%. Starvest obviously like Ariana Resources, and why not. I think it is a great gold share, but is also a silver and now with Cyprus a copper play.
I would support that. In normal circumstances one would attend the AGM and raise a question but perhaps it is better to issue the question more formally in writing beforehand.
Perhaps we could table a question on “detailing individual holdings in the quarterly asset report” at the Starvest AGM. Does anyone know how we would go about this ? Thanks.
Every three months, there is an RNS from the company confirming the overall Net Asset value. The next is due on 2nd October.
Keep it a secret Sussex :)
Portfolio as at close Friday: £24 018 610
Shares in issue: 57 573 986
NAV per share: 41.72
AAU 17.5 million
CORA 1.23 million
GGP 82 million
KEFI 19.44 million
ALBA 26 million
ORCP 21.87 million
Does the Co. report anywhere how many shares it holds in the various invested companies?
Thanks
Have a buy order for 21 p Monday but don’t expect it will be filled, you never know, ditto prim. Odd things afoot at Ggp but a 7% day fall to a 12% rise in after hour trade beggars belief. All should be revealed Monday.
With GGP at 27p after market close leap and Alba up a further 55% today making it Starvest's second largest holding the NAV based on the 6 largest holdings is now 43.1p on mid-market prices. The biggest discount in ages. Should start strong on Monday
I hope they haven't, given GGP's prospects. Shares probably obtained from pi's spooked into selling in the late afternoon shakeout. Expect a rerate on Monday if (and it's a big if) the GGP sp holds up at c.27p.
All in MVHO.

How have mms got hold of such a large volume? Could SVE have sold a chunk of their 82 million? If so this share could fly on Monday morning.
Just thinking out loud. SVE apparently has 82 MILLION Shares in GGP.That would = SVE receiving 2,562,500 shares in Newcrest mining with a Newcrest share price being A$32.00 a share = If Newcrest ends up putting a bid in to buy GGP in an all share buyout. SVE would end up having 2,562,500 in Newcrest at A$32.00 a share in buyout. I think if any large Multinational mining company buys GGP out,it would be a huge win for SVE with 82 million shares.ether cash or shares or share & cash Plus the other asset investments doing well.Happy days in a world class Australian Gold & Copper asset partnered with NewCrest Mining. All IMO & DYOR people. Don't take any of my figures as right, could be wrong?.
Top sliced Ggp and used proceeds here. Seems like a sensible move, whilst I believe in Ggp I think the rise in Ggps share price will be amplified by both Sve and prim. Did hold when they moved from 3.5p to 12p but got a bit carried away with the profit, should have stayed. Anyway with jay powell effectively saying he will print however many dollars is required to keep economy from being where it should be ie on its Arxx, think any precious metal miners will be on a winner. Any views as to getting share to more accurately reflect true NAV.
Sorry people but my last post is wrong. This is from 5t may 2020.Following further outstanding results Greatland's share price as at close of business on 4 May 2020 was 8.69p per share after staring 2020 with a share price of 1.83p on 2 January. This represents a significant increase in share price despite the challenging market conditions.
Starvest currently holds 82,000,000 shares in Greatland Gold plc representing 2.2% of the company.
Don't know if this helps.Starvest increases interest in Greatland Gold to 10%. Starvest now holds 20 million shares in Greatland Gold, or 10.18% of the company. Doing a little research. All in my own opinion only and please DYOR. https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/1871/starvest-increases-interest-in-greatland-gold-to-10-2709.html
