0.2p would still be classed as a fail as it was a lot higher than that when PC said a deal was imminent.
BOTS - take a couple of hours over the weekend to research / investigate - seek and you shall find !
PC may actually pull this off over the coming months and lay the golden egg - a good time to buy and with a little momentum who know where the SP will be before the deal .......... 0.2 by end of May ??
Terrafin - what is your source of cement cos switching away from flyash? This is imo the critical success factor for pozzolan ahead. And therefore important to Sunrise.
Indeed - some buys coming in now -a tick up on its way - perhaps the worm has turned.
Has PC got a decent deal in the pipe - hope so
I notice CO2 friendly cement is on trend now and many of the big boys are starting to produce it with blends to replace fly ash ..... could this actually be our year !
A steady (if unspectacular) no of buys since the director purchase and the bid has been creeping up. I can see the ask moving up soon..
I agree that it's most likely to be a sale rather than a JV but I don't see how "the buyer has all the cards on this one" as there are 3 companies seeking to acquire. This is supported by Justone's feedback from the AGM in which PC confirmed it wasn't a question of price but timescale, in that at mid- February PC couldn't predict with certainty when the deal would drop, other than the first half.
It will be a complete sale of the CS project. Sunrise team bring nothing to operationalising the deposit so why have them still involved. Maybe the price will include a net royalty - but I reckon the Buyer has pretty much all the cards on this one.
Does PC take fees from Sunrise? If so, compare those to the cost of this top up.
I don’t think there’s any doubt that PC believes things will happen soon and it will finally be transformational. I think it’s most likely to involve the sale of the CS Project and a significant capital sum, although there may be some element of future royalty. With 3 parties involved each will have their own take on how they wish to structure it but the essence, I think, will be cash.
Interesting that you should raise Hazen, which I think will certainly form part of the discussions and may form a follow on to the main deal, although it’s not at the same stage as the CS project, so an option perhaps, but its high quality is confirmed by Lab results so it has to be a target.
As for timeframe, PC’s purchasing may suggest something sooner than 3 months, but we will see.
Whatever’s going on behind the scenes it seems pretty evident it’s a good time to buy, that’s what he’s conveying to the market.
PC buying shares on the open market is a signal to the market that perhaps he sees significant changes coming in the short term probably with the CS Project.
With that in mind what would be the best outcome for us ?
- I would rather see a complete sale of the CS project to one of the big boys rather than a JV with revenue stream.
- Do we think the 3 interested parties PC is in discussions with are also considering the Hazzen project as perhaps part of a bigger deal to include with the CS ?
Could this finally be coming together, all will all be revealed hopefully within the next 3 months ............ ?
*0.0427
23 M at 0.427 is certainly not peanuts if the share price goes up to 0.5 - 1p + this year - which is not unrealistic if the right deals come in ........ :)
Look how many shares he has already, another 23M is peanuts to him. This will only go up and stay up when a deal is done. So lets wait and see. Emphasis on 'wait'.
Sorry bsg4, but I don’t think that’s a theory worth running with.
There’s only one reason why Directors buy shares in their own company, it’s because the share price is going to go up.
I doubt if somethings afoot. This is SRES after all! He's just did it to placate the angry PI's that have deluged him with e-mails. IMO.
It’s difficult to know if something’s afoot, but you have to ask yourself why PC bought now? It suggests things might happen sooner rather than later, in which case it would seem a good time to buy.
Some trades going through now - more directors buying ?? Is something afoot here ........... :)
Thanks for clarifying 1investor - this is therefore is good news - be nice if the other directors chipped in ...
PC would only be precluded from dealing if we were in a reporting period (company results), which we’ve passed, or if an offer had been made for the company. As it is, we’re negotiating a deal on a particular project with several entities and so he can deal.
It’s without doubt a vote of confidence and a signal to the market from PC.
Well judging from that proactive interview terrafin, he's talking deals in the first half of this year ( hopefully June end ) of some kind. If this now looks unlikely judging from your thoughts, then he needs to retract that pretty quickly. Not !00% clear on the ruling here and we don't need any more doubt cast by this board of directors..
Nice to see this form PC
- double edged sword though - does this mean that we are not in serious negs with suitors for the CS as presumably he wouldn't be able to buy on the open market if this was the case - correct me if i'm wrong on that ....
The other directors should follow . But can't see them other freeloaders doing the same
DIRECTOR DEALING
Sunrise Resources plc announces that on 5 March 2024 and 6 March 2024 Executive Chairman, Patrick Cheetham, purchased at total of 23,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.001 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on market, at a weighted average price of 0.0427 pence per share. These shares were purchased through his Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP).
Following this transaction, Patrick Cheetham is now beneficially interested in 281,832,572 Ordinary Shares (including 5,500,000 Ordinary Shares held by his wife, Karen Cheetham) representing 6.59% of the Company's issued share capital.
Its nothing but a hard boot in the balls caddy, meaningless in the grand scheme of things, as its fallen that embarrassingly low, its totally irrelevant and needs something of huge significance to even re rate.
Don't want to sound too negative but 14% up is nothing after what we have suffered. This needs to go up 600% for PC to have any sort of credibility and unfortunately, I can't see that happening.
Has PC resigned ? !!
