I'm here with you Mr cat killer ??, been accumulating quietly & now got 50k @ 42p average so very happy with today's actions. A lot more to come though imo, glad bd
Looks good today. TR-1 confirming seller out would be nice too

£2.3million sell, for those interested.
gla...
was 70p a month ago, when the seller started. crippled the sp but now on the up. so, 70p this year and hold onto your hat for new year prices...
gla.
I do not think all those trades were sells yesterday as there were some decent buys going in. The SP went from 48p ish to 70p and now down to 40p. Looks oversold to me.
Some huge sells today. Must be a TR1 due and hopefully the end is close so we can get back on the up.
Must be a big seller. IGR is falling too after a decent update. THG and ASOS are down today.
I know markets are forward looking but last report in October said revenues and profits were up (although some worries about supplies from China).
Is someone trying to acquire significant holding on the cheap - maybe to force a sell
It's the 'unknown' that's making us all nervous. I know this is a thinly traded microcap, but something's causing today's drop... now 39p to sell.
Wait for the inevitable TR1 to drop through.
How credible are Peel Hunt - do they have an interest in pumping this share whilst there are unknown issues behind the screen

Geez this is rapidly turning into the biggest dog in my portfolio....will the tide ever turn??
Make that down 10%... now 40p to sell.
We are under attack - surprise ambush!
Dropping again this morning, down 6%.
The share price is 41p to sell, while Peel Hunt are targeting 395p? Really??
Mind out for rampers - joined Twitter in November 2022 and now posting on this board
No doubt SPEC is undervalued - but markets loose their common sense with a recession on the horizon - despite the fact people still need eye tests, glasses, and contact lenses. The demand is not going away - but profit levels may be hit over next 18 months.
All companies today are approached by buyers trying their luck - but it doesn't mean management wants to sell out cheaply.
SPEC has problems with its Chinese supply chain becos of the Chinese Gov position on zero-covid but that is now being relaxed. Unfortunately, China is still going to catch a very bad cold because the population is unvaccinated.
SPEC needs to quickly divorce itself from China and find western supply chains. Until then, this company is risky.
There is no doubt this is a good long term value investment - but don't rely on rumours of acquisition........

So right now the company is valued appr. 1.7-1.8x full year EBIDTA? Correct?
Markets can remain irrational longer than punters can remain solvent or something similar springs to mind. And although it is disappointing that the share price has dropped (and I am sopping wet from being underwater for most of 2022), at some point markets turn.
Althoughs the press relishes in bad news, the market has priced this in and at the first sniff of better news, markets perk up. I dislike averaging holdings down, so will sweat things out. I am keeping my eyes peeled for better opportunities in case I need to cut my loss on this one and recover ground conceded elsewhere. And as each day passes, so the prospect for an end to the gloom and despair, I hope advances, though the change of a Santa Rally has diminished.
Meanwhile, back on planet earth, the share price has dropped again...
its not rocket science its worth multiples
they tried to put off buyers here they come again
