Sunstone Metals says T3 is significant copper-gold discovery
(NewsDirect)
Sunstone Metals Ltd (ASX:STM) MD Malcolm Norris discusses with Proactive results from the second hole drilled at its T3 target at El Palmar. He says the latest results show clearly that it’s a significant copper-gold porphyry discovery. Norris says the area is wide open and while it’s early days on the El Palmar concession, the potential for the project is huge.
“This latest result shows clearly that T3 is a significant copper-gold porphyry discovery,”Norris said.
“This area is wide open. We will be targeting a mineralised body that is 500-700 metres in diameter with a vertical extent exceeding 500 metres in the area of holes EPDD026 and 28.
“We also have several other targets within T3 that require drill testing.
“Together, these have the potential to deliver a very large gold-copper porphyry mineralised domain in an environment with many similarities to the 3-billion-tonne Alpala deposit nearby, which is located within the SolGold Cascabel concession.”
Northern.
interestingly I also hold sunstone shares.
I also noted the excellent news yesterday.
but what never ceases to amaze me is why the sp dropped 13 percent on the news.
and in fact has dropped 30 percent over the last couple of weeks.
sunstone clearly appear to have a massive discovery, so why the drop
Orthen.
not sure if you hold sunstone, if so, have you seen the chart for the last 6 months.
I know im accused of never holding a share. but believe me. ive held shares longer than many of the keyboard experts on here. but I have never seen a chart quite like it. what are your views, if you hold.
if not any input from any sunstone holders would be welcome
Adikt, I still read with continuing boredom, you constantly posting somethings going on in the background, people wouldn't invest in solg if it wasn't a good prospect, several majors have accessed the data room. No news is good news, we've signed several nda, things have changed.the Chinese are coming. Bhp are coming,
The list is endless.
Unfortunately there is not one scrap of evidence to back it up.
There is evidence that we have a major discovery, there is evidence that no matter how many times we manipulate the figures, it's not economical to extract the massive discovery. There is evidence solg is in mothballs wallowing, there is evidence nothings changed, in regard to poor management. There is evidence the share price collapsed,
The rest is just non evidence backed, wishfull thinking by the gullible few trying to impress the gullible many
Sorry adikt. Missed one.
There is evidence were uup for sale, and have been for a long time, and there appears to be evidence nobody is interested
NAL, if all that you have said is true, then why do you spend your time relentlessly posting here day after day, hour after hour?
Surely your time would be better served posting on the BB of a share with infinitely better prospects than this one. I just cannot figure out if you believe all that you have posted about solg is true, then why post here? You have other investments, yet all of your posts are only on solg which you believe is not going anywhere and which no one wants? Why so fixated on solg? Please help me to understand why only solg? Why not post on your other shares BB? 956 posts, all on solg, a share which think so little of. What are you hoping to accomplish here? I am at a lost to understand your motivation.
Nal, I'll help you out.
1) 'something's going on in the background'. This is self-evidently true. Unless, of course, you believe Caldwell is sitting around twiddling his thumbs. It may come as a surprise to you, but an awful lot happens in a public company that the ordinary shareholder is unaware of.
2) 'People wouldn't invest in Solg if it wasn't a good prospect'. I see, so people have invested because they think it's a basket case? Interesting investment strategy.
3) 'Several majors have accessed the data room'. This is a statement from Caldwell. Is he lying? Perhaps you should take legal action against him for making misleading statements.
4) 'We've signed several ndas'. Again, this is from the horses mouth.
5) 'The Chinese/BHP are coming'. You're mistaking me for another investor.
As Eloro has pointed out, your presence on this board is a complete mystery and I can only speculate that you've lost a lot of money and are now lashing out like a petulant teenager. Or perhaps you went to school with Mather and he kept nicking your packed lunch?

I think you are looking at everything through rose tinted spectacles, if everything you stated were true I doubt the sp would be 14p.
I think shipright’s post where Bob states the below is all anyone needs to understand why he is. Old calling investors
“ He was open in admitting that its a high risk, high gain investment but felt very comfortable with his 153m shares and looked forward to making a good profit whilst admitting there was all the chance of ending up with a big zero. ”
If he felt comfortable he wouldn’t be phoning investors trying to be positive………
I suspect a few major holders are clearly getting concerned with the situation,
Tesla, oh, but I'm not. If you had a look at quite a few of my posts you'll have noted that many of them have been quite sceptical, particularly in the NM and DC eras. (I voted against NM at the fateful AGM) You would also note that I've said I agree with elements of both Bozi's and DM's eloquent arguments.
I will openly admit that when DC was first appointed I was enthusiastic, but this was largely due to wanting to see the back of Mather. However, it didn't take too long to realise DC was a disaster (I think it was his first interview or presentation which did it for me). Caldwell seems like he knows what he's doing and appears to be a competent individual, and he has the backing of the board and Sangha. So, yes, I'm more confident now than I was under previous regimes, but I'm not daft enough to be unaware of the risks.
He phoned me after i contacted Maxit and asked to talk to him.
He's very excited about where we are now.
Admirable Shipright!
Excellent move approaching Bob and obtaining a status update! I wonder if NAL will follow up with 1 of the key players and provide concrete evidence to this BB to reinforce his position that all is lost here?
I admire your approach of action over talking Shipright.
Do you think with 153m shares he could be anything other?

I agree you haven’t been ramptastic like red ramper and fortissimo, who are obviously investing more than they can afford to lose, hence the bullish posts no matter what the news is but when you see a decent discovery up the road and the sp drops then you have to wonder do companies just want to avoid Ecuador or do they just want squeeze explorers as much as they can.
Bob isn’t wrong when he says high risk high reward, but that risk has increased substantially in the past 12 months for a variety of reasons and the reward isn’t looking quite as rosy.
I suspect most on here would take BHPs initial investment price today for an easy exit.
The Ecuadorian govt confirmed that our project is moving ahead - they will not stand in our way.
Cheers Tesla1, but the Ecuadorian govt knows a lot more than you and I.
My investment is safe here.
Tesla, your point about squeezing explorers is a valid one, particularly when the majors have dropped doing much of their own exploration and have come to rely on others to do it for them.
However, much of the emphasis here over the past few years has been an attempt to prise ourselves from the grip of BHP/NCM, and I'd argue we've been reasonably successful in so doing. So much so, both of them have done as much as they could to disrupt our progress. It'll take some fancy footwork to avoid the scenario you paint, but I'm reasonably confident that between Caldwell and Sangha they can pull it off.
Tesla, Bob was clear that the risk, while still there, has decreased substantially in the last 6 months
