No, I am smart enough to interpret the nonsense you write. I guess you're just not smart enough to read and correct your own posts? Or are they just too boring to go through again?
What is the superior pigmentation, please?
This is so depressing- a so called world class project showing a 50% decline in the SP in 3 months and close to all time lows after 10 years of investment. No wonder this board has descended into personal abuse and Insults with people seeing their wealth disappear in front of their eyes every day.
Is a prime example of cuckooing!
It's time admin got it sucked out. Oh hang on........I'm hearing admin don't actually have any authority over the pit anymore. I'm hearing that the turds are running it now. Shame on admin for letting this board deteriorate to this.
Well the much heralded batch of rns pre agm have started to arrive.
And the uncomfortable truth is that the markets have met them with complete indifference.
They also appear to have lost confidence in solg
And the captain of the ship. Yes adikt, that's scotty boy.
The malaise need sorting, and they clearly don't think he's the man to do it.
Post agm we will hit 5 or 6p., unless there are signs of change.
Quady - SOLG are never that specific; where have they said 5 remain interested?
The only related statements I can recall are from 25 Oct update:
"Over 20 active CAs in place with over 5 site visits already conducted"
"and over 5 groups have already completed site visits with a number of follow-up visits being scheduled"
So:
- "over 5" means more than 5
- 20 confidentiality agreements remain active, so no idea how many of these are still interested
Just because there's only five in the Data Room ATM, doesn't mean that the other's haven't already got enough information to have formulated a price. They may just be waiting for the auction to start.
As for listening to SOLG, they've repeatedly told us that they're explorers and not builders. Yet some still insist that SOLG is going to build the mine.
Hope gold does double, I still hold 48oz physical having sold a quarter the first time we hit $2050
It could go way higher. We have had unprecedented money printing and inflation. And a lot of Mickey Mouse ponzis like crypto and green rubbish.
All that money will eventually return to safe bets
Good grief doesn't anyone listen to what Solgold says.
Twenty people have been through the data room.
Five remain interested, not twenty.
IMHO this is why 20 companies have been in the Data room. They don't want to bid and then be outbid. They want to get it cheap, but realise that a decent price will be required, to fend off counter bids. I'm happy to keep on adding.
If Gold reaches the above price SOLG should easily have more than half a trillion of in ground value, when Ag and Cu at increased prices are added.
Zoros - Please explain why the major's wouldn't make a counter offer if a ludicrously cheap 25p was offered by the Chinese?
There's $130bn + of metal in Cascabel in the ground. The mine will last decades and metal prices are on the way up. Gold IMHO is nailed on to double and could possibly treble or more in price, especially with the Dollar out of favour and Bank's looking to create a new Gold backed Cryptocurrency. Add the increases in Ag and Cu, plus other potential mines owned by SOLG and the future in ground value could get to half a trillion before the mining is exhausted. Why would any major not bid more than 25p?
I'm talking NAV... add whatever discount you want based on whatever version of the PFS since released.
Solgold will flog the co to the highest bid before they run out of money you twat.
Apologies was looking at historic disclosure on the bottom tab. No intention to mislead.
Oh gosh it’s back. I had hoped it was dead by now
Smickster - FCA data with today's date shows it at 0.5%?
Very badly managed and in a really dodgy jurisdiction.
I'm a LTH for 10yrs - never seen such a debacle as the Solg management.
Z
Really, I'm seeing it's closed on updated version with today's date.
In June of 2024, Solg is going to come cap in hand to the market for some serious cash........or go under.
When that time arrives - the chinese will buy Solg out @ Cascabel - for a song.
My guess (with premium): 20-25p/share.
Watch and weep.

BBG - I think you are misunderstanding Enterprise Value.
It just adjusts MCap for existing debt/cash resources etc.
It DOES NOT reflect a value of in ground resources ($100bn+).
A Discounted Cashflow basis has two key parts:
i) a discount rate - to reflect cost of funding/interest as well as any risk premium - i.e. additional return due to riskiness by country
ii) cashflows, i.e. projected revenues to discount back - sales less expenses, as modelled under mine production profile and grades
How do you get to an EV of $3bn?
Anon - the phased plan is looking to bring Capex in around $1bn. If someone wanted to go more aggressive in line with previous iterations of the PFS then you're probably looking at $3.3-3.5bn accounting for inflation since the studies were produced.
And I believe that is why we are where we are. You've got many stakeholders, primarily investors, and looking at NPV and resource in the ground and asking for 70-100p. Then you have the suitors who I'm guessing aren't willing to pay that.
That pushes us into this middle ground we find ourselves where we then need to complete more work to push their valuation closer to ours.
I think a few people envisage some frantic bidding war which would surprise me still. I suspect many teams at these majors are trying to find the right level to pitch at and it'll be difficult because anything 20p or less will be laughed at our side and anything 60p or more will be dismissed their side.
So the battleground may be that slice in between.
Thank you anon... the misses isn't as confident as me... thank god she loves me!
Enterprise value is everything when there is no underlying revenue to produce a DCF.
Our EV is circa what? $3B? There we go..... and the plebs will say we should apply a discount however that is not relevant when determining the value of generational assets like Cascabel...
Todays share price value means nothing... when the first bid arrives, we will see who else wants this!
Based on what BBG?
What's your rationale?
