Well at least we’ve had some new or old news to discuss this week.
Hopefully more developments over the next week or so that hopefully break this log jam. At the very least an indication of the route forward.
He's obviously,craving attention massive.
I'm amazed he's got the neck to still be here
Highflyman. Interesting to note that irwin sent you a personal note.
Then realised he could be in trouble for what he said, so sent you another note to clarify his first note.
Suprising that a man of his status and experience would make such a mistake, sending a paper trail to a small insignificant retail holder.
Even more surprising that 7 people believed it and ticked your BS up.
I refer you to my previous post
You should top up novice you're well below your average.
😉
Good to here from you copperpot.
I remember you telling us a week or so ago that you wouldn't be posting again before Xmas, as nothing was happening.
Yet up you pop to defend bbg after he was once again ridiculed.
I think I've mentioned before, about fantasists supporting fantasists.
I expect you've got time on your hands at the moment, being winter on your Irish farm.
An accusation of being bearish on a stock which has deprecated 78% in the last 5 years, 53% in the last year or 55% in the last 6 months, is hardly an insult.
Why do people think you only make money from stocks going up…
There is no conspiracy with the stock price!
berry street trashed the share price? more complete and utter carp...oop from redknight.
berry street decided to exit when the sp has already been trased by cgp management team that thought it wise to tell the market that solg are neither a developer nor an explorer. solg are ... ermmm... well... nothing but a clueless bunch of directors that don't know how to offski a tier1 asset that sells itself.
now as we head into the agm... it's all about the apparent exciting rock chips that show what a great exploration folio we have. mmmm... or does it actually tell us that we have the wrong management team in control?? what we shoudl have is a pro exploration team involved. not one that mothballs it. one that discovers it.
so here we are and the muppets at solg are now telling the markets about exciting rock chips and the markets are saying yeah but yeay but yeay but you said you wunt dunt doin any exploration and anyways if ya woz... you got no money cos your previous plan of doing no exploration was to conserve money .... so excuse me if i ask (i'm mr market right now) just wot the xxck are do guys smokin??
move aside and let the grown ups take over for xxcks sake and lets get this business back on track as these cgp guys are either deliberately xxcking up the share price or they really are seriously out of their depth and floundering. eveen warren irwin seems to be distancing himself and apparently not watching things closely anymore. not surprised... it's an absolute joke.
vote the xxckers out for goodness sake. or next rns will be about us developing alpala next?
strategic review?? these guys couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery. i don't think they even know what a strategic review is if it doesn't involved issuing bonus awards.
WI saying he is not following things is interesting.
He is close to the guys. So he should know, in the limits of the legal. If there is something material that he knows about, he would like to say I'm not closely following things. A conspiracy sort of things.
I agree with your point RK. Why on earth the BS shares weren't placed with one of the strategics has puzzled me for a while and seems like a lot of needless share price destruction could have been avoided. Management must have know in a poor market with an illiquid share and a volume seller would have destroyed the SP, and all in the lead up to the AGM. This must suit someone but who and why?
Relax eloro it’s all white noise which has been enabled by the scourge that is social media with no comeback no matter what rubbish is posted by the same handful, 25 years ago you’d have been checking the price a few times a day on the times phone share price service 😂
Don’t let kids with no agenda other to to massage their own ego’s have fun at your expense some will even have you believe they are from Australia 😉
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!! Not long now guys
I’ve been here a while as the majority Will know and tbh I have never been more comfortable of a very good positive resolution here as I am now with Scott and co quietly getting on with business
H, I don't know what it is about this share that attracts so many odd people. RK filtered 62+ people which leaves him posting to himself, and the others derive a lot of pleasure that PIs are hurting because the SP fell.
There are some sociopaths on this BB. The sooner we are sold, the better.
Texasminer - new profile, only created Nov '23 and only ever commented on SolgGold and all comments bearish. With C/A in the air I think people can see through you my friend. Just out of interest, how much do you get paid to trot out this tripe and is it actually a job?
Paddy...Berry Street trashed the share price...they could have placed the shares through Maxit...
Not amother 4 years please. I want to get out if this trsp ASAP.
An equity raise would be disastrous and unnecessary...
Let me repeat...
We had $22.9 million at 30 Septemnber and the Operational cashburn is $1million a month...
And we could get a 1/2% streaming deal away easily with copper and gold having broken out, which would last us for another 4 years...
How many times and for how long has this been near the “end game”?
All the while the SP just gets lower and lower.
What makes anyone think this is any different this time and that the many false prophecy’s will come true this time…
Facts -
Share price is very low
Nobody is buying
No TR1 to show anyone increasing their position before a bid.
Amateur investor conclusion - this is all points to huge bid landing soon…
Seems like very wishful thinking by people underwater and need something to happen.
Totally agree with you Highflyigman. We are approaching endgame. For the past 3 weeks, it struck me that the ceo who promised to create shareholders value hasn't commented on the state of the SP. Further, no comments have been made regarding funding. I think that's because DDs are concluding, and we are fast approaching the point where a bid will be made. Jiangxi will be the most likely bidder IMO.
The Cornerstone shares will be placed strategically before a raise, if we get that far.
Agree the price could go lower thought, but it's evident from this week the company are trying to resist that. At these levels with things drawing to a close I think this is potentially a great opportunity for anyone with dry powder to deploy.
Without BS Capital going bump and puking millions of shares onto an illiquid market we wouldn't be at these levels and it suits someone to keep us here.
I disagree Texas, doing an equity raise at these levels would be madness for everyone, let alone PIs. Aside from that, what's the point raising further cash if you cannot sell the assets you find as it makes the whole business plan unviable.
Management have been working to derisk the project for approaching 12 months whilst lining up buyers, of which sounds like they have a few and they are coming to the end of their DD, therefore asset is the way I think this will go. C
If they are expecting a bid why feel the need to support the stock price at all?
It’s always been stated on here the current stock price will have no correlation to any bid…?
Have you considered that directors haven’t bought any more shares as perhaps they don’t consider it a great investment with their own money? Why buy when you can gift yourself them.
Seems like a board in panic to me, releasing old information which has had no effect on the SP but to send it lower. So if they are trying to support the SP then they need a different strategy.
Most likely outcome is a raise against existing holders in March.
Possible share price 6.5 in December, 20% “discount” from here?
Full disclosure, in a subsequent message Warren clarified the last sentence was his comment, not Scott's. WI is a realist though and if that was his conclusion then that tells me all I need to know. Either way, we're approaching stick or bust, but we've got a good hand and a supportive administration to work with. C
Cheers Highflyigman, your feedback from Warren is quite reassuring. I do hope that his Q1 forecast will become a reality.
Wondering why there are all these RNSs...?
The obvious reason as I speculated before is that going up to the AGM they are supporting the SP...
However, it seems significant to me that no insiders or Directors have bought shares since Scott etc in October.
Amother possible explanation is that they are expecting a bid or significant transaction and wish to support the price so that the starting bid is as high as possible.
And of course if there is anything by way of a possible transaction in nthe air, anyone who is inside would be unable to buy...
"The rule is simple: if you know privileged information about a company, you can only deal in its shares when that information becomes public."
Worth thinking about...
Warren spoke to Scott a few weeks ago at the Denver Gold Show and this was his note to me post meeting...
'Had a good meeting with him. Little by little he is moving the ball forward with the usual suspects. Hopefully sold by the end of Q1.'
I expect permits and the updated IP agreement are imminent, revised PFS to land early in the New Year. As aslo recently communicated too, any interested parties DD should be drawing to a close so things should get interesting in the NY.
If anyone wants to take a flyer pre AGM then great, but I'd be surprised as there really would be not a lot to gain as far as I can glean anyway.
Wish I had more cash to buy in volume at these levels.
Nice to see management coming out swinging this, nothing that has really shifted the dial but I'm sure still more to come pre agm. C
When asked if he is expecting any fireworks at the 2023 AGM, Warren response was:
"I am not following things too closely. Remember a significant amount of SolGold stock is now in the hands of Cornerstone shareholders which are a pretty cohesive group and have the company's best interest at heart. So not expecting any fireworks."
Now, this from Warren who previously followed events extremely closely to the point he felt that we were at 2.9 in his 3 steps to a sale. Could it be that he no longer expects a sale anytime soon?
Clearly the Cornerstone crew believe that they have got the election sewn up, hence no need for last minute letters soliciting PIs votes. They are not worried about the low SP given their lack of comments. Not even a promise to turn things around.
Are they this close to a sale, hence no need to address the falling SP?
