Ho, ho! Reminds me of 1981(Stackhigh) and his story a while back about buying on behalf of a client. I also seem to recall he came up with a brilliant story about some hidden and hitherto unknown financial instrument, which he claimed was going to cause armageddon. It didn't, but it gave us a good laugh.
It is spot on but I hate to break it to the guy... but the FED is the 'house'. They own the casino. The run everything to support the dollar. When things don't add up...like during Covid... Gold should have gone to $10k+ levels as the safe haven. But the Fed didn't want that, so instead allowed crypto's to run riot. The list goes on. The FED never loses. The world is no longer spinning based on old economics... it's spinning on tik tock, X and so on. Just watch Bitcoin and other crypto's surge away and Gold will just flip flop around and look unwanted. That's what the FED wants. That's what the FED will get.
The truth
I work for a hedge that is currently buying blocks of the stock.
To be honest we are getting worried about the liquidity of the stock so we are trying to entice retail investors to part with their shares.
We are very adapt at clandestine buying though and use several different companies to build a significant holding, so you won’t see any Tr1, before you ask.
I can’t say anymore, I have already said too much.
Interesting article Red
And I think it’s spot on
Texas who were you before or as well?
Don’t worry about the drop, it’s just those pesky market makers and other dark forces manipulating the stock price.
There are plenty more levels of cards to built on this house yet.
Just keeping buying, don’t miss the opportunity.
Out of the 60,000 companies that are listed, this has to be the best place to put your hard earned dollars.
Although there is absolutely no evidence I am sure the Chinese are buying more stock and any day their offer for the lot will land, just you wait and see.
No mining company cares about political and social stability, it comes with the territory.
Forget what the professionals say, what do they know anyway..
And so what if it doesn’t turn out well and you lose the lot, you can always earn more right? Who needs a 501k anyway, retirement is overated!
And even is you do lose the lot, at least you can hold your head high with an empty investing account and say you went down with the ship.
Looks like he's gone commando and going after them Arnie style. Good to see. Lets hope he doesn't get 'popped'.

Never been completely out......just waiting to take advantage on any weakness (this morning....) to buy back my trading pot which sold not that long ago.....
While doing so also increasing my overall holding with another little drop of its average....
GLA SOLGers.
Adikt, you clearly need to get a grip.
Not eloro. Even your won't be able to smooth talk a positive on what's going on.
Paddy... if you google news on Chile, Peru, Colombia, Brazil...the list goes on... you'll find loads of unsavory stuff. Doesn't seem to bother the Super majors mining over there lol!
South America is a hot bed and it's ironic that the US knows all about the drugs cartels and routes to US yet seems to do little about it. Makes you wonder whether they see cocaine as an important import lol!
Anyway... Ecuador certainly much better and safer than majority of them which is why I think the BBC seems to pick up on Ecuador stories rather than bother with Brazil or Chile or Peru et al. Old news I guess.
The colombians are key. Far more involved than many think in Ecuador. Been going on for decades.
But it serves as a reminder why SOLG's assets will eventually go for a price that reflects South American past deals rather than any deals involving safer regions. Regional risk was priced in long ago. Chinese must be mopping up this loose stock day in and day out and laughing their heads off. At this rate, they will probably get around 15% stake at net ave of 10p a share. You won't see a TR1 though lol!
Every cloud
Good post Fort. Recommended
With 2x of my original position. Onwards and upwards from here
Paddy, it wasn't that long ago that a leading politician got shot dead for standing up to gangs. In the polls... safety and crime etc was the hghest point on all voters lists. Noboa vowed to get on top of it. One wonders whether Correa is behind the recent gang land disagreements as it helps his cause heading into next elections in 13 months time or via his proxy candidate.
I think shooting a politician is shocking. Gang men breaking into live TV stations also shocking but why do it? Either they are thick ... or they deliberately wanted to get maxmium PR... eg.. makes life more difficult for Noboa.
...aaaand Eloro has shown his true colours and goes to the bin!
Good grief, Eloro! Yes, it is a difficult situation, but you appear to be doing a very good Corporal Jones impersonation. Get a grip!
Solg messed about, playing corporate greed games instead of selling the asset. Now the jurisdiction is falling apart. All that remains is for the gangs to take over, then confiscate cascabel, never mind nationalisation. Solg, never fail to disappoint. I can see Scott The Rocks Caldwell hightailing it back to Canada given the unrest.
Thought Ecuador was one of the safer investment jurisdictions in S America ? We’ve had it !
Copperpot. Yesterday's events in ecuador once again show your sarcastic attempt at humour, underscore your complete lack of understanding of exploration shares in an unstable country.
Not only that, but you clearly find it easier to post sarcasm than learn from your ignorance of current affairs.
And quady, do you still think it's nothing to worry about. Or do you still think it's tourists letting off steam.
Or can you both accept that when I posted about the gang problem many many months ago, and said there where still many hurdles ahead.
I maybe had a point.
And you both would of been better of not trying to be clever
We now have Marshal law announced in Ecuador after the tv studio situation and even a Hamas style attack on a university campus…

I wasn’t expecting this this week…
Byronbaygold.
Interesting view you have that the minimum you would accept is £1.20 a share.
Aquinaga, having noted that you and bbg seem to have formed some sort of alliance, backing up each other. I'm wondering what your view is on his £1.20 aspirations.
Oh dear skint not allowed in their group chat?
They see through this idiot no doubt.
"When you make money I make more" lmao
Foot on ?????
😉
The chaos on Ecuador TV right now is not doing the countries stability reputation any good….
Oh dear indeed, I guess when we all invested we didnt take this into consideration and if it escalates then this country will soon become uninvestable to the big nationals. Here's hoping Noboa and co can stamp on this terrorism pronto otherwise the current 8p will soon be a mere distant memory
