Sean, I love your solg related posts, always have done but this guy has b uggered up your flow mate! Let it be. Filter and move back to your great posts.
Have to admit though if you wanted someone on your team who was persistent, thorough and loyal......Quades is your man!
Hey ho.
Z
Seanhunter I am certainly genuine, but Zoros has a point. If you disagree with everything I write then you lose nothing by filtering me.
I would much rather people filter me, than fill this forum up with posts.
All the best.
I've got Quady on filter for obvious reasons. Can people please stop feeding his ego by replying to him if he gets under your skin? He's being successful in ensuring 90% of the message on here revolve around him.
Z, I really don't want to filter him because part of me believes this isn't an act, that he is harmless but genuine... perhaps even on some kind of spectrum - that would certainly explain the diverse book stuff repeated over and over again. You know, like "Qantas never crash, Qantas never crash". But you are correct my patience is wearing thin.
Oooops, just in time........here we go again folks.
Bye
Z
Thank you bigsandy, that was my point.
Welcome to the board by the way - always nice to hear a new perspective.
Sean - it's becoming funny now. Quades is getting into your blood and under your skin. You're freaking out over him. He's thrashing you by a country mile from a psychological perspective.
Bit like the chinese water torture.......drip......drip.....drip.
He may possibly be a virus even!
Getting back to the funny bit: By simply pressing a button, Quades will disappear from your life forever and karma will return. But you refuse to use it........funny that, very funny.
Z
Quady you are just talking out your backside now.
I hope that's simple enough terms for you.
I think we are all beginning to understand why Slug reacts to you the way he does.
You are like a Harry Enfield character. "Now I do not think you wanted to do that..."
"Only me!"
Leopard=spots
etc
Sorry seanhunter that's the point of automatic trades they are low in volume. I thought that was clear when I explained about buys and sells and not moving the price.
Obviously I didn't put it in simple enough terms.
Quady FFS I was talking about the NUMBER of automated trades we have had this morning and how LOW in value they all are.
Your "inner technical analyst"? Give me strength mate, no one can be as obtuse as this - I swear to God sometimes I think you are actually a troll.
"Mansplaining"
Seanhunter our automated trades are low. Look at the volume.
I put things in simple terms so as not to complicate things.
It's nothing more than that.
Call it my inner technical analyst, as when writing reports you do so in a way that targets the audience your addressing.
Just decades of habit.
Quady you have a natural gift for speaking to everyone as if they are stupid mate. i know what an automated trade is - I was talking about this morning and the unusually high number.
You really are a hard person to like. I try and try to tell myself that you are genuine and harmless enough, but you are like that "special" kid at school with his "special" cup and his "special" glasses and his "special" chair and his "special" diverse book theory - you know the one who is supposed to be good at chess and maths and everything, but every time he moves the other kids can hear his nappy crackle?
Correct Hubrishunter.
Seanhunter let me try and explain why the automatic sales you see are nothing to be concerned about.
An automated trade is just that.
They can be used by large trading houses or we as individuals can get a platform and do this ourselves.
Would it surprise you to know that round about 50% of all trades on the UK stock exchange are automatic.
Some houses use them to buy or sell a position when a client with a large amount of stock wants to sell and not see the stock fall through the floor, or buy and not see it cost them too much. These can go on for months.
If you don't believe me, then go look at your favourite FTSE 100 stock and your see lots of automatic trades.
Thanks RK …. All we have is theories at the moment but this cycle has to be broken pre AGM ….. enjoy your break , news will come soon enough
Good morning LunchMoney.
Yes back to Solgold.
I am looking forward to the PEA on Porvenir more than the updated PFS for Alpala.
I think we all have a ballpark figure for Alpala, and maybe some further cost savings.
But for Porvenir we have had very little.
I know they are reporting 3 monthly, but would have liked the occasional result on a good hole to be given a RNS.
Guess that's not how it's happening nowadays.
Dependant on how far Porvenir has progressed I would be happy with an NPV of between 1 to 2 billion dollars.
An absolute flood of little automated sells today, most about the £1k mark. Funny...
miketrix, whilst share prices are just a point of reference for that day, they are also the markets tool for letting investors know whether they like the business prospects or can't care less. In the pre Lehmans days, you could be drilling for gold or oil based on seismic / surveys etc and be valued at over $500m with ease. Only then to be valued at $5m post duster. Those were the days eh?? Today, markets don't seem that interested in pricing assets on a forward potential basis. Instead the market prices based on failure. Ironic really. It takes a buyer to make an offer before this slap dash pony market reluctantly marks the sp up. So guess in a long winded way... what's the point in SOLG discovering another Alpala if it takes 8 years+, $100's of millions raised and dilution galore?? What's the point?? Here we are based on a world class tier 1 asset at PFS stage and we are valued at 16p lol!
SOLG's main issue (and that's us wee shareholders) is that through the markets ignorance... there are many bargains out there. A year or two back, that was not the case. So you have ii's or fund managers who might be willing to take 50p on SOLG (instead of 100p+) simply because they know they can make that cash work on other stocks that will double in value once the market sorts its sheeeeet out! As Irwin eluded to recently, words to the effect of... lets cash in now and then we can all invest it back into the bargains out there.
The dream scenario would be to get top dollar for SOLG and then reinvest those funds into a beaten up stock (unnecessarily etc) and gain double bubble on the recovery which will kick in once this inflation lark has been put to bed and Putin inevitably strikes some kind of deal. The. latter doesn't want to go into a long Russian cold winter as Ukraine will win that one. Putin has to get through Nov to March period or his troops are toast. So I expect a fabricated peace deal to be brokered over the nasty Siberian winter months and then they can all kick it off again when the daffodils sprout up.
See Sean, whatever you say he won't give an inch.

Both diverse book or diverse register should be put to bed now matey. Youve milked it to death now. To the point that youre really peeing people off.
Good luck matey.
Fair point Copperpot, I also respect you and your views.
I guess diverse register is the correct term.
Just in my younger days it was referred to as the book.
Old habits die hard.
All the best.
Quady, I have great respect for you. Could you please try something out of respect for fellow posters?
Could you try and refrain for a whole month mentioning those three words ..................................
"THE DIVERSE BOOK" it really is wearing thin on people, myself included. I cannot stand Slug or anything he stands for, but you're running a close second to him! You know that you're winding up decent posters on a daily basis with your diverse book theory, and yet you persist! It has become a mantra with you, it's almost as though you manoeuvre a thread to tell us once again about "the diverse book"
This bulletin board doesn't belong to any of us, it's simply a conduit for us to communicate with each other. Once you've made your point...leave it at that!
I believe that Solg will be involved in production in some way or another, but I don't bang on about it daily. I have more respect for fellow posters.
You're a good man, but you have to see for yourself how you are upsetting respectable posters with your daily mantra.
Thank you SharketMare.
I know we have had our differences.
Not sure I like the hellfire of dilution and production.
But as you have seen from my latest posts.
If we do acquire CGP's holding then ENSA, Cascabel, Alpala becomes easier to offer up for the right price.
All the best.
Addicknt I have read what you have said.
I will compromise.
I will not respond to him.
But will still report him.
That way he won't know who gets him banned.
As many others also are reporting him.
