The SP is stuck because the market is bidding for (presumably an initial) 500,000 and nobody is selling...
If the buyer(s) are determined enough we'll see this carry through to the 17s again this pm...
"more of a share price reaction" than the initial jump to 21p+...? before settling...
I'm afriad not Quady, you are the one who starts every fight here with your condescending comments about other posters.
And I've lost count of how many arguments you have caused. You are just nasty period.
I just point them out.
And there you go again with your Slug obsession.
Go and stand in the corner with your pointy hat with the big D on it.
D for Diverse no doubt.
Idiot.
Redknight - I can't argue that the merger dilutes other shareholders but I don't necessarily agree with your point that the merger wasn't defensive, and I think it's fair to say the market doesn't agree too.
If the merger was assumed to be an attacking move then I'd have expected more of a share price reaction. Wouldn't you? Instead, the initial announcement was sold off and any subsequent rise has been met with selling. Early days I know but that is the price action so far.
I think Irwin and Sangha have moved upon the realisation that selling CGP standalone was proving fruitless. They had a good 3 or 4 years to do this and there were no offers despite completion of various MREs, the PEA, the PFS and the emergence of Tandyama America.
The proof will be in the pudding I'm sure. I just think that with SOLG proclaiming to have funding options well progressed that the merger may have been more positively received. Maybe it will be details of the finance that brings the market back in.
Can only see the 1 trades lol!!:)
Red keep updating us my friend no L2
Good point lunchMoney
Ready for liftoff...I'm now firmly bid for 500,000 shares...
Spoofing or spooning red? Been at it for years on here
Not long now Red
MMs spoofing...they're bidding 3% above the market price for 300k still...
CMG by Xmas I wouldn't lol!!:)
Fly me to the moon....
40p would be far to low at this stage now.
If they want it they can pay.. 80p+ NOT many holders will be complaining if it's around that area or more. Imo
Offer has moved up from 16.85 to 16.92...still firmly bid for 300,000...
Back into the 17s shortly...
He couldn't have been more clear on that at Noosa...

"Financing is hard with monetary policy reducing liquidity...
"In conversations with bankers, majors and potential investors, the message was that at the moment it is difficult to get capital for a $4 to $6 billion project....."
Nm has a proven history in this go read up on him
Red and don't forget nm always said he would reward all shareholders prove it up sell it on to the benefit of all shareholders gla
In that case, for your sake and mine, I hope we do end up with a result that does make you happy - I'd certainly be up for that :)
Of course I will Sean, that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it.
Very tight spread...16.8/16.85...still massively bid for size...
I'm firmly bid AT THE PRICE...16.8p...for 300,000
You're no different from the rest of us Bozi - you'll take whatever the market dishes you in the end. You might as well get used to that idea and adjust your expectations.
Its my opinion Bozi, but I believe you couldn't be more wrong...
This has all the signs that Mather, Irwin and Sangha are driving this...
Theres a simple logic to 100% ownership of Cascabel, but the merger dilutes BHP and NCM to just over 10% each.
So if they don't move before the merger completes, someone like Mitsui taking a 6.7% stake (or even more if they've been quietly buying in the market in the last couple of weeks) could open the way to a contested takeover.
I still predict that the final takeout could be a minimum 75/80p and even up to my original suggestion of 100/200p...
Its exactly because of the impending market crash that I believe this is being accelerated by those 'movers and shakers' to a swift and highly profitable conclusion...
This is NOT a defensive merger in my opinion, but Nick's penultimate hurrah as he sails away into a DGR sunset...
It also looks to me like a couple of fairly chunky bed and breakfasts have gone through today...
Short term traders looking for a quick buck on a pending RNS mebbe...?
