RedKnight1 and TheItalian - thank you for your continued good posts.
Red - out of interest why did you bail out of atym if you now only hold the shares listed recently. Looks a good lth to me.
Shocking Fort
I think the road tax on EV’s was inevitable with people having already seen trebled the cost to charge them in about a year …. Hardly encourages a greener future
Cut the CGT allowance from 12.3k to 6k from April 23 onwards. And down to just £3k allowance from April 2024.
That's going to annoy a decent amount of the pi investing community.
Over £125k u say…….?
Reckon some may need to take a peek at todays tax news then
CGP moved a little too
Thanks Q
So if there was a second bid in the same auction for 1000 shares at 18.40 what would the uncrossing price be ?
Sorry just curious
Let us hope it does not rain on our parade Fort !
Fortissimo, yes that's true ,maybe something tomorrow but certainly next week I think before AGM ,got to have some takeover for us to vote on !!:):)
SOLG and CGP doing well on TSX. Weather news arrives on AGM and CGP EGM tomorrow is anyones guess but next week surely has to be THE week for getting all formal notifications out. This time next week there will be less than 3 weeks to the AGM.
Dbw true might not get a chance to vote by then hopefully!!
Who else can feel it coming,?
The way I calculate it is first to match.
So, we match the first 10,000 on each side and as the bid is 18.3 that is the settled price.
This is because we have more shares on the sell side.
If we had more on the buy side, then the settled price would be 18.5.
That leaves us with 10,000 shares on the sell side.
This is sorted on the next SETS I believe and registers as an automatic trade.
I haven't covered this completely, but hopefully this answers the question.
We don't need news either , we need action.
Don’t need luck bubble …. Just news
We get to vote in a couple of weeks they’ll want merger complete before
Up 5% 32 cents ATM looking good for a bounce here tomorrow with a bit of luck
For example
If the auction had only one bid for 10,000 at 18.50 and a sell for 20,000 at 18.30 what would the uncrossing price be?
They know what they doing over there imho held shares on tsx before
What is the algorithm for the uncrossing trade and how would you say it’s calculated?
Kinda correct Steve, they sell, and buys are matched up and the total displayed.
Excellent spot Colonel...up 33% in 17 trading days and 28% in the last 10 trading days...
32 actually translates as 20.46p but of course the CGP guys are Canadian based...
I was answering sharketmare's accusation...
Why are you so upset when other people do well...?
Volume piping up on TSX by their usual standards.
21p equivalent at 32 cents.
Canadian chart looking like a breakout move. Might pause at 38 cents before heading onto 50 cents. Not today... but gradually building higher seemingly with every 1m block (on LSE) that gets dealt.
Steve...the 1.002 million was the daily Uncrossing Trade...
And another 300,000 at 18.50...
Total after hours trades (except the UT) 829k and volume for the day 5.15m
Which makes 9 out of the las 11 days at 4.7m or above...
I wonder if Blackrock has there £25 million yet...?
Or whether we'll see a TR1 soon?
Quady so as I see it someone out there was prepared to sell a million shares at 18.35 and someone out there was prepared to buy a million shares for 18.5p and market maker just marries them up and makes the difference is that correct
