Anyone expecting some ‘shock and awe’ before the AGM?
RK - Morningstar link lists top 20 fund holdings...there are other funds holding Solgold too which may include other BRock managed ETFs etc
Thats a fantastic find Bogota, so...
Blackrock Funds sold a total of 3,770,236
I presume that was on 16 December only.
What is also really good information is that the total of Solgold shares held by 'Funds' is 262,457,846 (11.4%)
And we were told Private Investors own c 20%
BHP 12.6
NCM 12.5
DGR 8.3
CGP 6.4
Jiangxi 6.3
Tenstar 4.4
Directors 3.8
Norges 3.4
Valuestone c1%
'Funds' 11.4
Total c70% + PIs 20%
Leaves only c10% unaccounted for...
Thank you Bogota just the one fund, that's where the 30 million have been sold from.
No need for any conspiracy theories.
Morningstar link - BRock Mining Trust is where the stock is held
Novice I have one ID and I don't use ADVFN.
Well he/she is extremely good at riling the majority of this BB and regularly generates many threads job done for all we know they could be slugs alter ego ?
https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/xlon/solg/ownership
All Blackrock funds that hold SOLG included in attached Morningstar link
If hes working for BHP hes doing a fantstic job...
“DBW as far as we know quady is a multi alias poster who has been placed here to stir feelings and post emotive thoughts to whip up interest here the poster is a clear fraud,”
Novice…. Surely they could have found someone brighter and remotely literate
As the TR1s state...
Blackrock Inc buys or sells the shares.
Blackrock Inc are 'Blackrock'
Blackrock Inc ARE the fund managers
So when we say 'Blackrock" are selling shares, we mean Blacrock Inc (the Fund Managers) are selling shares.
They are not selling on behalf of clients, they are selling shares which have been consolidated out of I believe over 30 separate funds.
But the fact is 'Blackrock have been selling...at least 30 million shares...
What on earth are you on about Redknight click on my name and read my posts.
It was me that stated that.
Show me where I have said anything different.
And in one elegant post (much of it appreciated thank you), you sum up how little you understand...
To repeat...you said:
"That's my point Bozi, BlackRock are not selling shares.
The shares being sold belong to funds and ETF's.
So it's their clients shares in Solgold that are being sold.
I repeat BlackRock are not selling Solgold shares.
That statement is factual."
and
"Next you state BlackRock fund managers are selling shares in the funds."
and
"Black Rock do not hold Solgold shares in their own right"
And that is the whole point...
NOBODY has said that...they are saying "Blackrock Inc" are selling Solgold shares.
I.e. from the TR1s...
"3. Details of person subject to the notification obligation
Name
BlackRock, Inc. "
BlackRock invests the funds of its clients...in numerous publicly traded companies...these shares are ultimately owned by the company's clients, not by BlackRock itself...
BlackRock, Inc...BlackRock is the world's largest asset manager"
(from the Blackrock website).
Once again …. I’m not a supporter of slug , just think he’s worth a hundred of you … that’s all
Quady you are serious low life
You tell posters all day long to learn to read then hide behind your dyslexia excuse….. no wonder so many have you filtered ….
So your preference is production, we all know that would result in massive dilution and the best part of a decade of a depressed share price ….. Nick Mather is on record as stating a JV is a non goer as it would decimate any JV premium …. There is one clear and obvious outcome here, Mather gets it, Maxit get it, Irwin gets it, the Chinese get it, Singh gets it ….. if only they had your insight
Correct Redknight now go back and read what I said and understand the context.
Exactly DBW take the mickey out the fact I have mild dyslexia, about sums you up as a supporter of Slug.
Lol I’ll do you a deal
I learn to read you learn to spell …. How bout that numpty ?
"I've already said Bozi you're a good poster"...
You've actually said:
"Bozi your ridiculous."
DBW I don't know what to say to you apart from learn to read.
The funds and ETF's managed by BlackRock hold the shares.
Not Black Rock the company.
OK Redknight I will answer you next.
I have been investing since I was 19, I am now 61.
I never plan an outcome date.
Learnt that early on.
I derive my income from dividend holding shares.
Solgold is just a flutter.
I am up as I averaged at 4.6 pence for my holding.
I have another flutter on the go VRS, I am averaged at 19.2 pence so down on that, but adding to my position.
I am quite happy to take a ten or twenty year view at my age as I know that things change.
On the dividend side, I take an immediate view.
So horses for courses.
I have more than enough for my needs, which are not great and allow me the odd extravagance, like a new car or holiday etc.
But when I die it will be my daughters and various local charities that benefit, so probably different mindset to most on here.
Next you state BlackRock fund managers are selling shares in the funds.
Yes that is exactly what I have said, it's the changing percentages held in the funds or ETF's or indeed the fund is divesting itself of Solgold shares.
You are stating exactly what I have said.
Black Rock do not hold Solgold shares in their own right, that is my point.
Click on my name, and read my posts.
Red …. The most amazing thing revealed to me was …. Although Blackrock hold 30/40m million shares less than they did ….. they haven’t sold a single share ?
One could argue they’ve lent a few out but really?
Surely Q is only here to mislead ….. alternatively he’s as mad as a box of frogs…. Take your pick
"DBW if you think I have said anything wrong, please state what it is, rather then the usual snide remarks people have come to expect from you."
DBW is the one of the straightest, most helpful and sensible posters on here...
Unlike you, who constnatly create your own reality so that you are never wrong...even when you are...and its staring you in the face...
incredible..
