Didn't sound nuanced to me.
Very interesting video DBW he clearly states that the plan for Solgold is for it to merge.
This does not exclude going to production.
Many on here think one excludes the other it doesn't.
NM has clearly said we proceed towards production unless we get an offer which represents value.
However I have noted the nuanced change in language.
We wait and see.
He says DGR would look to do a scrip deal and take BHP Newcrest or any acquiring companies shares instead of cash to not cause a capital gains tax event for DGR.
Jeez! What the hell are you talking about? You've apparently spent 40 years being a world beating investor and yet you don't know the first thing about when announcements have to be made.
Even Q must agree ….. Nick has said it so it must be true ?
Porvenirial thanks
When it comes to being taken over by a major
“That’s certainly the plan in the case of Solgold “
Couldn’t be clearer
Addicknt you are not reading what I said, the event's posted by me would require an RNS after the event not before. A takeover or bid would require one before the event took place.
It's really easy if you read and don't impose your world view on every observation I make.
Your becoming rather tiresome.
Q, yet again you are obfuscating and have refused to accept that your post was 100% wrong. Just re-read what you said at 8:37. And what the flying f**k has the cash box raise got to do with anything? It is of no relevance whatsoever to the current discussion.
Addicknt what are you on about. I just explained that you were wrong about the cashbox raise. I explained it could be done I just couldn't remember the name of it at the time. You told me it couldn't and I didn't know what I was talking about. It was me that was correct and you that was completely wrong. Although we never had an statement from you stating that.
Q, so you accept you were wrong? Of course the actions you mentioned require an announcement and this is simply not an issue open for debate...it's fact.
NM was NOT suggested anything is currently happening - it would be illegal to do so, but what he was doing was alerting his shareholders to what he obviously perceives to be a likely outcome and I'm 100% certain he wasn't referring to the prospect of further dilution.

Listen around the 3 minute mark...
Bozi you may well be correct. I just don't see anything that has changed, apart from the normal media speculation that has always existed around Solgold.
I agree finance is required at sometime.
The interesting thing I read in the DGR announcement was Tandy looks to be open pit.
People has speculated and the company has postured. But this now looks to be the course of action.
Well I agree there guys there's certainly something going to happen sooner than you think imho those 1 trades tell me something just my theory gla
Addicknt when we had the cash box raise which you knew nothing about and said couldn't be done. It was done and an RNS issued afterwards.
I thought you would understand that now.
Sorry Quady. I think we have to react to what is now taking place in front of us. I've been in your corner up until the last month or so regarding a takeover and I now believe that a fundamental shift is taking place.
For another listed company to brazenly signpost their investors to a corporate action is very uncommon and as Addicknt says, they're not going to say "look out for the fundraise for the next 12 months funds".
I think our days are now numbered. I'll speculate that we'll have seen something by the end of Q3.
Do you seriously believe the actions you mentioned don't require an RNS?
eh?
I wasn't Bozi. I excluded that possibility because that would require at least an RNS and the others don't.
Q, interesting that you've deliberately missed out the most common definition of corporate action. I'm sure it was simply an oversight on your behalf.
Or the purchase of your company by another company.
Essentially, any transaction or event that impacts the corporate level of the business is a corporate action.
Come on Quady. There's no need to obfuscate in such a way.
Addicknt that's what cooperate action means. It's an adjustment of finances.
Either to do with finance, dividends, buybacks or the purchase of another company.
I believe the only one that applies to us out of that list is a cash raise.
Just what it's for and how it will be executed is the question.
Agree Addicknt.
You could say where is the precedent for him flagging up a cash raise in such a way? There isn't one.
It's looking to me that this macro environment is going to tempt a suitor from the shadows. Unfortunately it does weaken our hand, as does our dwindling cash pile but let's see what is pulled together.
Q, it seems unlikely that NM would want to flag- up a cash raise, especially as he identifies this issue as being one of the reasons for the depressed valuation.
Of course, we know one is due - in fact I'm surprised it hasn't already happened, but NM was trying to excite his shareholders and you don't do that by telling them that they're about to be diluted again.
This is a cash raise. Wherever for Alpala or continued drilling.
We just need to wait.
Nm it's Thursday...
