Added a handful @ £1. If they start winning business in the US casino market I think we'll see a big rerate. Encouraged by the CFO buying a few at £1.05, suggests they aren't going to need to raise cash
It was a bit bland but at least it’s not a profit warning.
Talk about bland very poor coms BOD , get a grip is that the best you can do.
All good to see another contract won. Been watching for a while and bought in yesterday.
This is the sort of good news we want to hear about. The casino sector is important for SNX.
Another contract, starting to see a return to normal trading .
"Delivery will commence before the end of this year, with a five-year support contract already agreed, following completion in early 2022."
tickhilltim look at the SNX RNS tab at the top of this page. Am i a ramper , well i am always positive when i buy into a stock. ATB
Commonveg,are you a ramper?
You quote a statement from the July report. There is nothing new here.No new contracts,no comment on financials. It is a bit pathetic when a company boasts about completing a contract. That is what they are supposed to do.
I have been waiting to get in here and i now think it's time . "Company expects to trade profitably in the second half of the year."
"Colin Holder, CCTV Manager for West Midlands Police, commented: "We engaged with Synectics' Security division to help us design and deliver this innovative project. Our selection and deployment of the Synergy platform will underpin both the current project aims and provide a reliable, secure and scalable solution for the future.
This new Event Control Suite will provide the world class facilities we need to deliver a safe and successful event for the region."
Sad
Downbeat report.Several months before US and Asia business recovers.Cash burn may become an issue?
The current order book is well up on 30th Nov and equal to where it was last year . That's the most important thing for me.
announces that following a competitive tender process, it has received a letter of intent to enter into a multi-million pound contract for a large innovative, cloud-based surveillance control system to be installed in London commencing later this year.
Market didn’t wake up on this. Watch this once herd arrives
Cash in bank is £6.9m and post Covid-19 contracts worth multi million pounds. This should be year high at £2
Dipped my toe. At this SP the valuation is around 50% of book value and at around 1x tangible net asset value. The margins are high and assuming demand returns from casinos, this look like a good entry point. Dividend growth pre-covid looked like the sign of a good business. Chairman holds a decent chunk though the insider buying this year could have shown a bit more commitment.
If that is Whitehall, then now they own more than 30% of the company, which wouldn't that then make them need to offer a price to the remaining shareholders equal to the highest price paid over 12 months?
Make that three... 4% of the co so far
Two nice buys there.
Good interims and a mega-contract win, could expect some traffic on this bb today.
20p spread, or 8%, is daylight robbery.
did I really find this one at £1.45 last year...???
that deserve this morning's opening SP. A turnaround case with a partially restored dividend that should stabilise the SP level. However, improved margins and a better Services market will be needed to move this share further up.
Yes... but a quiet share... so likely one to watch... before investing.
And new contract. Bodes well
