I’m sorry I’m going to stick up for Nolupus here. I’ve been in since around Feb and like a lot of others I endured the low 30s only a few weeks ago and I was around 45% down on my investment.
The ones I always followed on here at the beginning were Ghia and Sharesting who both have excellent knowledge of Synairgen in my opinion and both did lots of research and if I am honest they were the reasons I stuck around. Nolupus came later and yes he threw a few spanner’s in the works but he was also very knowledgeable on all things Synairgen and he brought a very balanced view to this board which made me and probably others research a little deeper.
Anyone who can call Nolupus a de-remper though is wide of the mark as all his views were very valid and always backed up with facts. Never once did his posts make me want to sell because deep down if you read his posts you could tell he believed in the company but he always weighed up the “what ifs”.
I’m now sitting pretty and enjoying a free ride, I still have massive faith Synairgen will do very very well in the future and knowing that Ghia, Sharesting and Nolupus are still invested makes me feel very confident.
Sharesting and Nolupus don’t appear to get on very well but actually although the probably don’t realise it they are a great double act to follow and along with Ghia we have a massive wealth of knowledge we can tap into.
Personally I would like to thank all 3 of them.
Have a good weekend and let’s see what next week brings and remember, this share requires patience as things cant and won’t be rushed.
GLA
Good week all in all. Held solid at £2 then crept up gradually as the week went on. Covid results were solid so not a big gamble like pre three weeks ago. COPD news assuming it is positive should knock this up another whack. Looking forward to next week and breaking news on link ups etc. Felt like solid trading last few days and with Venrock building their stake this is only going one way. Good weekend all.
People who have took a big risk here have made some big gains, It's as simple as that.
There are a few on here who didn't want to take the same risk, fact, and that's cool.
Some, however are now looking over at the few who took the big risk in envy and are wishing they had took more risk themselves, unlucky!
Lets see how they feel after the next blockbusting RNS, they will either be saying "I told you so" or "you shouldn't have took that risk in the first place.
I think it's called Jealousy!
Lets see
could 1 or 2 people either grow up or shut up? This BB has been excellent but is now starting to be dragged down as so many others often are
DubleD - You held strong and have bigger cahooners than alot on here. Its a good example of what they can do to the SP without any of the fundamentals changing.
Eva......you frequently make me laugh .....and I enjoy your spirit
but please give Nolupus a kind break...
You know.....if I were looking for a BOD for a new investment firm....I could easily choose someone like Nolupus.....a Chairman always needs a steady advisor of all the risks.....often an accountant.......often a finance director.....other directors would have different talents.
A fire cracker, however entertaining would not be invited......
But I can imagine you would be good company in the pub afterwards....
Oil - this stock pushed me right to the brink. I was well over 40% down on my investment at one point. It didn’t play out the way I thought it would. But luckily it worked out. Was nice to wake up on holiday to that news.
Eva ,
Your full of BS ...
Imm had one product ... lupuzor
Sng had one real product. .... SNG001
Before readouts same situation but the results weren't the same ....
So you can't believe that people went all in with Lupuzor , yet Great to do the same with SNG ...
hypocrisy, is all I can say
Bye bye
Well i agree the game should not be played to often...but it was not just a gamble on the COVID data from my point of view..
Anyway, we are all in very different situations, financially, age wise etc etc.. so we will all have a different approach to our investment stategies and are percieved tolerence to risk and reward.
Going all in , in any biotech before readouts , no matter how much research is done is just financial Russian roulette imo ...
You may be lucky but if you keep playing that game well you know what to expect ...
Eva ,
I will let you have the last word ...
It's just boring ...
Nolupus - Do you not think I did any research before going all in here?
The data pointed towards it being a success.
Hardly a MAJOR risk, a risk yes but not a MAJOR risk imo.
Anyway, more risk more gains!
Wise words Sheriff!
Things hotting up into close.
Would want to be out of this over the weekend.
Research research research !!!
Sharestring,
I don't see any bragging whatsoever and no ramping either ...
If the results weren't conclusive you migh't be so smug after all the major ramping you did before results ...
The truth is that no matter how optimistic one was before results it was a major risk for people's capital ... This time around it paid off but one should only ever invest what they can afford to lose ...
Cautious optimism as ever .....
I don't think he'll fall for it but that was a very wily ego poke. Behave
Nolupus how lovely to see you bragging about the size of your investment. I am surprised how “big” your investment is given your months of negativity towards SNG :-)
I agree always look at Botha sides to an investment and if happy buy. But your commitment to subtle negatives is above and beyond ;-)
Happy Friday. News Monday ???
