So far sng have update us on everything, not sure why some are complaining about the communication.. also wont surprise me if we get an update by mid June.. covid stocks in general have been hit hard today and yesterday... the drop today is definitely to do with timelines than anything else... sng still doesnt have success priced in so IF the results are good, am expecting fireworks here
Uallmakeitup - I live close to Weston General Hospital which had to close on Monday - it had a spike in admissions With COVID - had started to infect other patients - and 40% of the staff were testing positive. All cases including A&E not diverted to either Bristol or Taunton. Likely cause - gradual influx of visitors last BH weekend (before lockdown ease) and VE Day celebrations.
History shows that most pandemics have subsequent waves - we are now seeing evidence of renewed cases in Germany, Iran and S Korea all of which had early ease of lockdown.
Well we will find out in a couple of weeks who's right because with the amount of people in close proximity there should be a massive second wave. Hopefully i am right are there is not a massive spike. Hopefully we have seen the bottom on the price as well
People flooding parks is not an indicator that covid is fading.. majority of ppl arent concerned because they think the virus wont get them and in most cases especially for the younger healthier part of the population in that is the case.. but what they are forgetting is that they will be spreading the virus around, virus thats keeps mutating as time goes on.. i cant see the second wave being as bad as the first but at least 35% of the population is in danger one way or another... i dont think u understand that its a global pandemic, 8b ppl on the planet, it took roughly 4 weeks for the virus to cover the globe, things like this dont die out quickly and thats a fact
Whilst I agree with you guys and vaccines aren’t a reality for me. But the share performance in the last few weeks hasn’t been great has it.
The care home at the back of my house has lost 22 up until 3 weeks ago. That was because they were forced to take people back from hospitals that had no room for them. Thats what caused the outbreak
Shpunken Ok lets see what happens with covid19 . What i see is the shops full, parks are mobbed, Golf courses filled with walkers and picknickers all close to each other and nobody seems to bother anymore. And yet the deaths are going down as are the infections. Normal doctors in hospitals are twiddling there thumbs with nothing to do.As for discussions bases on fact, i think you mean hope. Not looking for an instant return as i am down 40% here as everybody sells into good news to gain 30 shares. I think its you who is clueless
A care home about 500m from my home has lost 20 residents to COVID.. Its still very bad and anything that helps us all, like this, is good imo. Holding.. And may topup. GLA.
Uallmakeitup that us utter bolox! Speak to a paramedic or anyone who has witnessed this disease first hand and they'll paint a much bleaker picture than the 100 people you know. People with underlying health issues and in care homes are exposed because of the nature of this virus which by all accounts will rewrite medical books.
uallmakeitup - check the figures mate on worldometer. The number of global new cases are increasing daily - fact. Read about the covid19 news from Brazil, India (Mumbai) and South Africa. The Prime Minister of South Africa (despite relaxing lockdown rules) has initiated extra restrictive measures on various South African districts. Its actually getting worse at this time.
We kind of all would like to see the SP further north no one will disagree with that Duble D. Because this share is results driven people are playing the other COVID stocks. Nothing has changed here except people like yourself being impatient. The drug, company and fundamentals are all the same. They are getting what would normally take years of trials done in a matter of months. Sorry for you if the share doesn’t give an instant return but their are more important things at play here. As in getting the correct trial data and then hopefully saving lives.
Pilgrim I'm not blinkered, I think you are. I personally do not know a single person who has covid19 and i know hundreds of people. Out of everybody i know they do not personally know of anyone with it. When it all comes out in the end you will find most deaths will have happened in care homes and people with underlying health issues.
Its heading to 45p, which has been tested like 48.5 was on few occasions.. covid 19 is dying? U must be living on a different planet then, because governments are still afraid to open businesses up due to not having drugs that work... its very simple if u have no faith in sng, move on.. this board is for discussions based on facts and not individuals who panic from the first sign of downward sp after some solid good updates.. there will always be a risk with any share, if u cant take it than move on pls.. non of what u say is backed by data or facts, in fact you are saying the complete opposite which shows that you are either clueless or just another troll...
Covid19 is dying out...no need to read any more from your post as it shows how blinkered you are...
'Covid19 is dying out' ... the peak may have settled down, but there's still 1/2 thousands covid related new cases a day in the UK alone. Today a surge in South Korea (mainly due to nightclubs reopening) in Seoul. South America and USA still severely suffering. Can you say that a 2nd peak won't hit here once reopening? Probably not.
Dubled That's the problem. Everybody saying how wonderful it is as the sp tanks. This share is going to the moon, boom time, Sell your house and invest in here,Share of the century, You can't lose here, get your golden tickets, Its talked about on tv. I'l be retiring soon as soon as this hits £5 a share.
Miggy - funny isn’t it how someone posting constant positivity doesn’t receive the same treatment. The only thing spreading constant negativity here is the sp.
Show me the positive side then. Covid19 is dying out. A bit like this share. Nothing moves this up the way, heading to 30
Duble D,
Don’t bother putting out your negativity if you can’t handle it being challenged. All your posts have always been the same. Change the record ffs.
Sure does, looks another poor morning....
Miggy - I don’t need a raise. It’s Synairgen sp that needs the raise.

'Adverse events were reported in 102 (66%) of 155 remdesivir recipients versus 50 (64%) of 78 placebo recipients. Remdesivir was stopped early because of adverse events in 18 (12%) patients versus four (5%) patients who stopped placebo early.'
Good morning
Home trials start from today according to the G.M.B / local news mentioning Southampton university working with SNG
Surely it's not just about recovery times it's about reducing or better still preventing adverse events. You could recover from Covid but still end up with a blood clot for example.
