its like buying a cheap bus ticket (for the chip) each day you want to lead a normal life. and if you're staying home / not going anywhere you don't need to buy one...
No you don’t buy the reader.... just the inhaler looking gadget and the micro chips. The readers will be at venues/transport hubs/offices/ hospitals etc etc and the box updates your app to confirm your negative and acts as you proof for 24 hrs.... £15 for the inhaler/exhaler call it what you will, and a few £ per micro chip, sold in packs of 5 or more. So we can get back to life as normal.
It’s genius and needs roll out ASAP.
Hcharge, I wonder why a holder would come here say they sold and talk the business down as they close the doors behind them? Just sell and get out. Bye!
poor presentation, by ?1/2 way through the ‘scanner’ appeared... I sold off my holding at 185% profit before it had even ended ..this model doesn’t feel right now, certainly for the average bod going about their daily business £££ ... the scanner feels like another bread maker in my kitchen ???
?thanks for the profit GB... I wish you well ?
"In the presentation Gerard answered the question 'Have any customers shown any interest?'. He smiled and replied, 'Lots.'"
Hopefully we'll start hearing about some preorders soon then.
In the presentation Gerard answered the question. "Have any customers shown any interest?"
He smiled and replied, "Lots."
Agreed, @jdt1990
There will need to be a paradigm shift before we start seeing these in the home. Recent history has shown us shifts can, and do, happen though. Airport security after 9/11 and, more recently, smart phones and mass wearing of face masks in the West. In the absence of an effective vaccine, will we all soon have our own breathalysers to allow us to enter the workplace / entertainment / travel sector? On its own, the potential here is massive.
Once that becomes the ‘new normal’, how long until the cost of these units plummets and we all have miniature versions sitting in our homes for the odd occasions we are visiting granny?
We’re still in an episode of Black Mirror and I find myself asking loved ones if they’ve remembered their mask before leaving the house. So it doesn’t take much to imagine the jump to a breathalysed. And that would be one step closer to normality, although I might need an extra pocket or two!
IMHO
I really like the concept and I do think you could quite easily see one of these in every office / airport / stadium etc....that was the only other thing I couldn't get my head around in the home setting RD. What stops anyone who has covid symptoms just getting their mate who doesn't have it to do it for them at home and getting a Covid pass when actually positive? You would hope people have a conscience but there are some idiots out there. Unless you have to get tested at the venue you are going to as well, but as Paulcon said, this is way to save you the cost of a journey unnecessarily to whatever venue you are going to?
Have i got tgis right.
The protein binds to the affimer inside the vape type device.
The cassette is then put in a bigger box which is stationery - the reader where a laser detects the binding because of the way light is absorbed and scattered.
The output from this is output to your phone as Q code which can be read by any q code app (it just sends you to results page on web).
So whilst QR code readers would be outside MCD where would the actual testing take place?
If it is at home then we are trading freedom to move about (determined by possession of Q code) for cash - have to buy machine and trust caps.
I liked the film.
no bull****, with slick actor voice over. It said what they had, and what they got is great. I like they showed people, I thought they all sounded competent, and wanted to win this. Means a shed load.
It was to provide information to make a judgement about investment. If you want slick and sexy but with a pile of crap behind it go buy volkswagen. Sure it was rough, and some things are a little, hmmmmmm dont agree, but at no point did I think this is bull****.
Hahaha !! Great phrase.
‘Simple’ being operative word Pilgrim ! Amazing the impact uneducated Pi’s & MM’s can have on a SP ! True value certainty not reflected in today’s games. Let it settle, this will shine through.
When the scanners start popping up in places and the passers by look inside at all those people having fun in a covid free environment it wont take them long to jump on board.
They are simple scanners...not expensive..he said that. They will be all over the place. A few hundred quid investment to put at the entrance lobby of work, shops, cinemas...wherever. The cost is negligible compared to the cost of Covid. And each test lasts 24 hours. All the simple day traders and swing traders don't get it as they're not interested..and mm's have made a killing...simple as that
Like described in the interview chip is interrogated by phone app, then this forms a QR code for +or- test result, the QR code from your phone is used as your scan to get into airports or such venues so it's your phone that will be the tool to communicate with scanners at venues
I thought the lady did well - answers were full and highlighted product benefits.
However, presentation was a bit disjointed - think they did want to recognise staff and highlight that they are more than the sum of their parts.
However, assume your audience is an idiot would have helped and discuss the breatherlyser and sewage tests as unrelated would enable clear revenue streams to be identified. GB declaring independence from govt even genuinely and passionately ignores reality.
All in all defeat snatched from the jaws of victory but the large lady with the horns hasn't even begun to tune up yet.
Agree @Paulcon. The crucial piece of missing information is how expensive/accessible the microchip readers that deliver the test results will be. Perhaps the Govt should order them for GP surgeries?
I’d liked to have seen various price points of the equipment, or at least a bracket. There is clearly a HUGE demand for this sort of thing worldwide, and I think that was an opportunity missed in the ‘pitch’. Rather than suggesting that price was “over to you”, as a consumer, a tangible figure would’ve been something to hang our hats on.
Imagine instead we’d seen it demonstrated in a real life scenario - say at the turnstiles of a football / rugby stadium, or the entrance to a concert hall. Obviously current restrictions may not have afforded the team that opportunity, but a short video of people queuing for an event, or to board an aircraft or enter a conference room... To have seen them present their passes would have painted a thousand words. Show us football stadiums and the concert halls and busy airports. Smiling people with their breathalysers and Covid-free passes! Clearly some things sell themselves but people want, people need that feel-good factor again! I think the product has the potential to be a game changer. Sometimes people just need to be reminded why :)
IMHO
Pilgrim - I can’t really tell whether you are calling me an idiot, your badly worded sentence seems to suggest this.
The populace has spoken, they appear to agree that the presentation was poor.
Have a nice day.
Parasite traders having a field day.
Yes I think so - unfortunately
They’ve a £3m loan facility as well as over £1m from recent warrants so no placing as Gerry said before loan facility agreed
Exact same thing happened at AVCT - stormed up to £2.40 and then tanked prior to placing at £1.20....
Certainly a confusing presentation. Mentioned it could be the answer to coming out of lockdowns.
Mentioned about getting into a habit of testing yourself, like brushing teeth.
And yet, to get a result the microchip needs to be individually plugged in to a scanner? Which you wont have in your house, maybe not in your village or your town?
Am I missing something here?
Placing incoming?
