Not surprised, slightly astounded
We know from the horses mouth it's an above ground real time test linking avacta/aptimer group so a really exciting tomorrow
Haha, you mentioned theranos, JB had a chat on here regarding theranos and what they did wrong (lots of moving parts, amongst other things), so he is very aware of the theranos situation.
I’m not sure why there would be a revenue share. The previous RNS just described a deal for the supply of affimers. I’m not sure it’d ever be fitted at individual households. I can see something reasonably local enough to make an alert actionable. Certainly useful at universities, care homes, large workplaces. Then the above ground system... I see that best for mass gatherings which will open up venues. The perfect combo for me would be DVRGs sh.tty test for monitoring, Awacta’s LFD for screening/tactical responses, BAMS for POC/hospitals and DVRGs new magic breath thingamajig for mass gatherings.
Fully expect this to retrace tomorrow pm unless of course GB blows the “bloody doors off“ as he may well, but irrespective this has legs to go much further just on what is currently known, so for me this is a firm hold.
So wrong Diego, I'd give it up now. Gerard dismissed that theory saying ' It would be better to know if someone was contagious before they entered to room'. If I remember correctly it was in a thread regarding a sticky dance floor article that Sloppy posted. I don't need to find it but you might like to?
Great posts this last hour after another good day and hopefully the same tomorrow. I have a significant holding here and Mwg and hope to retire on there success in a couple of years. GB seems very confident and we will find out why tomorrow. He tweeted today about real time daily community screening and commented when someone forgot include AptamerGroup alongside Skin, AVCT,MWG so obviously they are involved in some way. Really excited about tomorrow and our journey forwards
"I doubt it’s some kinda breathalyser for Covid"
After looking at GB's comment it looks like he was talking about a room monitor that detects Covid pathogens in the air, not really a breathalyser. Sounds like a good idea.
I doubt it’s some kinda breathalyser for Covid but hopefully confirmation the prototype will commence validation assuming it’s been tested with the live virus in Aberdeen as opposed to just synthetic. It’s the above ground solution that intrigues me but I’m betting it’s not a breathalyser but something more practical and effective for community testing.
Either way I’ll have a few drinks tonight to make sleeping easier. I’ve a large holding here and MWG (one in the same soon) so feel like a kid on Xmas eve.
13, no contract obviously as they need to trial a working prototype i suppose . I remember the Theranos and Walgreens contract went absolute **** up and how not to rush into business that way.
I think we can say it won't be a contract tomorrow, I say that as it would be unusual to sign it on the day of the announcement but to have known about it in advance. Unless there is an NDA that expires tomorrow.
For clarity that's at the very very top end of what possible as an outcome.
BOOM for SKIN then 13th............ :()
but not yours.......... :*(
All the best (perhaps both will prosper through the collaboration ....... :()
I'm not on unfortunately, but would also like Avacta to do well out of this.
13, any ideas what % Apatmer/ Avacta will take? Could you possibly ask this question for me tomorrow? Thanks buddy
13, Would be nice to know that they are initiating research into this, if so, hopefully this does not draw too much cash. I don't want a placing just to protect my lead on SP. 5% is better than nothing, but Rino must already be busy with other stuff
In fact expanding on that. Let's say it could be made for 1k with margins, and was multi user, so the gov could supply each household, that'll cost 20-30bn, is that less than the most taxes personal and corporate, and the increased benefits bill? I'd suggest it's a close call, and probably has a 12 to 18 month payback at the outside.
Thanks debcashew I see what's happing now, I just hope I am a part of SKIN before this happens sounds promising.
Greedy and lazy hahahehe...............?
ask yourself................ you can pose a question pre agm..........!
All the best (safe flight ............. pop ya mask on :()
Haha JB referred to a breathalyser from someone else, they already had the sensor tech, with affimers they have the binding target, which JB has specifically said works, going hand-held and getting volume are the challenges in my opinion, but I've no idea how big or how much power it draws (probably not much given potentially quite remote locations. It'd be gam changing but not that much new tech. It wouldn't surprise me, impress me yes, excite me yes, amaze me yes, b but not surprise. It'd gate about a 5% chance of it being that imo.
Interesting anticipation idea on breathalyzer 12monkey. If it were true tomorrow, the SP would sure go up significantly but Canary Technoloiges took a fair amount of money and six months to develop their breathalyzer and just started trialing.

I'm off to Singaopore tomorrow but hopefully see transcript of meeting and being absolutely greedy, at least 8p on Friday (!) For tomorrow, Could anyone ask DB what the estimated revenue % split would be btw Aptamer/Avacta and Deepverge would be for sewage testing or breathalyzer . Would be interesting to know.
Thanks and god bless
That'll doing nothing in my opinion and it's meant to be surprising...
my MWG are meant to be joining SKIN's tomorrow maybe that's it and the SP should go up as long as it all goes a head as plan.
I hope, but don't expect, that's it's a handheld nano optical sensor that you breathe over or spit on, and it tells you stuff when it scans with a 'laser'. Aside from the size that's all achievable given what they've said, the icing on the cake would be for it to be available in volume and handheld. I can but dream, in reality it might be that, but down a manhole.
GB did mention something about an RNS tomorrow after the presentation has started, so hopefully it will be something of substance.
