Better joining us than that telegram group who are about as much use as a chocolate teapot. I check them out on linkedIn now and then to see what they are up to but they all seem a bit pre-occupied to me.....mind you, some of them have been waiting on SEE shinning for 20 years so i get it✌😂
Alas it looks like the SEE massive will have to wait another 20 years to get their money back🤷♂️
Its ironic that a life saving company are going to see most of their shareholders in a box before they actually acheive anything of note✌
Team SM you just keep delivering, respect to you all.

Will they be installing GEN 3 ? 700 upgrades ?
Self-driving vehicles have taken a step closer and could be on our roads as early as 2026 after the Automated Vehicles (AV) Act received Royal Assent on Monday and now becomes law.
The legislation delivers 'the most comprehensive legal framework of its kind worldwide' for the safe deployment of self-driving vehicles in Britain, according to the Department for Transport (DfT).
What's in the Automated Vehicle Act?
The act now sets out the minimum safety threshold self-driving vehicles must achieve.
This is currently stated as a level 'at least as high as careful and competent human drivers'.
It also outlines that AVs will need to pass rigorous safety checks before being allowed on our roads.
The act will eventually define who is liable if something goes wrong - especially if there are collisions involving AVs when the technology is activated - and establish an in-use regulatory scheme to monitor the ongoing safety of cars fitted with self-driving features.
This will include a vehicle approval system supported by an independent incident investigation function, which mirrors that used in the aviation industry.
As such, companies will have ongoing obligations to keep their vehicles safe and ensure that they continue to drive in accordance with British laws.

Getting desperate CFP.
Just think how you are going to feel next year terry when that loss is 50k and if in seye 300k profit!
The bod have a lot to answer for with their exuberence and profiteering at shareholders expense and yet according to some they are the best thing since sliced bread.
At the London presentation shareholders had a chance to make a statement yet they choose to ask questions for which they knew what the answer would be....just because they liked that type of answer and they could feel good in their comfort blanket.
I once had a row with a ceo at an investor meeting, left and sold my shares in the company at 8am the following morning....a few of the investors there criticized me for my actions but as i thought, the cheeky bugga ceo was lying through his teeth while enriching himself and others.
Its amazing what people will believe if the story.is what they want to hear....shareholders here should start to club together for some action, dont get caught with your pants down😂
What nsjj kg Rd me pig sick more than anything.
£100k in SEE 1yr ago now £84,750
Meanwhile
£100k in SEYE yr ago £225,500
Now that does hurt!!
Could this be the Porsche Macan 4 EV which is at Start of Production? I thought with the link to VW this would be SEE.
I put my faith in a positive stream of cash rather than press handouts. The cash flow will turn positive over the next 13 months. And the August and November Kpis will make that even clearer than it is now.
They won't know intra-quarter (like Fleet kms). KPIs stair-step... they don't trickle in, unfortunately.
Looks likely that SEYE have news pending & those in the know are buying ahead of that news-which I always thought was illegal-but perhaps not in liberal Sweden
Doesn’t matter what they say or do, investors & analysts give them the benefit of the doubt or maybe they are going to announce another contract ?
Meanwhile we still can’t catch any tailwinds. SEE would we wise to put out an RNS when they hit 2 million cars just to reinstate performance milestones plus get a move on with this blue label cert with Collins Aerospace.
We need a continuous stream of news to move this share price as it’s lagging its piers by a country mile at the moment.
50m or c20% valuation gap in gbp opened up between SEE and SEYE. Not sure that is warranted based on available metrics on revs, kpis etc. Frustrating for sure.
Nathan - appreciate your thoughtful post.
On this key topic, my view is that SEE's Guardian Fleet experience is all about refining the human factors aspect to make the DMS effective and not intrusive & annoying. I suspect that SEYE's cost competitive offerings suffer from a lack of R&D in this area.
A reviews out there that haven't loved the DMS and said over sensitive and annoying in use. Mass market adoption will likely throw up more comments on dms across the different suppliers - again some of the issue won't be down to the supplier of the software per se. The integration of software onto a multitude of central computer, camera and illumination suppliers and positions and capability of oem and tier 1 to stabilise a working solution will be key. At the London cmd it was intimated that the number of partners we work with would slim down. That looks to be happening via magna and valeo - the focused offer may.mean product is robust and finessed to a point customers may have a better opinion of it esp if less false positives or annoyance. I saw one video on YouTube where the camera and illumination pod on the ev9 had been covered by black tape. Clearly that won't work with a mirror solution. Safety is critical and shouldn't be circumvented but annoyance with tech drives silly work around and will be interesting if proven that dms was avoided by tape for instance and crash occurred would this void insurance??? Market is nascent really, I have a kia on order for Sept and I don't think that has dms as model refreshed before 24 date. My next car after this one will have it and the landscape maybe very different. Cost and performance are key and will be interesting to see what csutomer feedback means to Kia if dms is not well recieved in its current offering and set up. There is a real chance seeingmachines may experience same on some cars too. I still think software tier 1 has potential for huge liability and legal aspects esp if you are the team holding up a project or worse still cause failure. The tier 1 buffer can be useful is this kind of respect. Anyone here got a car with dms from any supplier? Happy with it? Any issues?
Yes mate but you’re doing a great job in untangling 👍 keep up the great research.
We haven’t heard much about OMS from other suppliers, iron one location like the mirror.
I imagine with Magna we have a good chance to take a high percentage of the market from 2026.

As always the million dollar question in the tangled web of DMS World.
Who’s DMS Terry ?
Smart Eye's quarterly deliveries are estimated to have peaked at about 150,000 cars each in 3Q22 and 4Q22. Dead reckoning using that number suggests one million cars would take six to seven quarters to accrue (actually 6.66 quarters) which would have been reached sometime in 1Q24. Since the Q&A call stated that did not happen, it means Smart Eye's quarterly cars on road deliveries are averaging fewer than the 150,000 units achieved two years ago. 1 million deliveries over 8 quarters would be an average of 125,000 cars a quarter; over 9 quarters the average falls further to about 111,000.
For comparison the actual deliveries reported by Seeing Machines by quarter are as follows: (note references are to calendar year).
3Q22: 112,077
4Q22: 141,747
1Q23: 173,802
2Q23: 211,325
3Q23: 222,138
4Q23: 208,231
1Q24: 313,662

The driving monitoring system includes a driver monitoring camera (DMS) aimed at the driver's face, which can monitor the driver's presence and current status in real time. DMS can provide alerts to the driver and initiate intervention to help the driver control the vehicle. The driver monitoring system ensures that the driver controls the car according to the needs of the situation.
In addition to the driver, occupant monitoring systems are useful for understanding the condition of the occupants and even providing a tailored environment for specific occupants.
NXP provides dedicated chip solutions for driver monitoring systems and occupant monitoring systems.
