The plant side of the business is in disarray at the moment, no vehicles and very limited numbers of staff. The superstores are turning over less than when there were small depots in the same area. All of which makes for hard times ahead. The competition have bodies on the ground, visiting site and dealing with the little companies. Not hiring to the likes of BB with very little return. Hard times ahead coming into Christmas. (Bone heads please don't reply unless you have anything of value to say.!)
In fairness to CN he was extremely able to sort any part of the business in bother and pretty PDQ! A lack of ability to form relationships other the parent- child type was his Achilles heel. Ruled purely by fear/threat which soon switched people off to him, and overshadowed his decision /action taking ability. Bet there are squeaky bums now he's not there to hide behind.......
The demise of CN can only be a good thing - there was an example of "the lunatic running the asylum" if there ever was one! Some great people left in that company that deserve better than they've had in the last few years, but they need the tools to do the job - I hope the latest management team can deliver.
Omg! What has happened to the Hard Arm of HSS bud...half a pound down on the day. Really, it's only a matter of time to before the investors pull the unfused plug. Ashtead down 20.50. SDY New management seems to of gained confidence. Time buy is now, this will not drop..
Mmmm, this jerk knows his onions.! I'm still waiting for a post from you that is actually worth reading. Do you have any news, predictions.? Or just the same old cod.!
This guy is on to something the only way is up with the correct management wait to deal it will move the rite way

what a day to be a Speedy employee! CN gone, NM gone, TA going in December!! more to announced in the next few weeks EC, DJ.....watch your backs everyone the Hatchets are out. PL & BO the bum licking bandits have survived again, more Jam than Hartley's them pair
I see the circle jerk has started again LOL
FYI- I'm not bitter, twisted or anything else for that matter. What I can tell you is that 3 heads have rolled today, more will follow. I have 18k invested in this company, do you think I want Speedy to fail.? No.! But and it's a big one, the SP will be on it's backside for a long time yet, only lame fools think otherwise, or those who can't see what's happening. There are to many lame fools who are emotional about this share and that's a mistake. I don't need my 18k luckily, it can stay there for the next 10 years. And believe you me it will take that long to gain a decent return. Keep your head in the sand.!! A pig in a fur coat is still a pig.! Same as the one wearing lipstick.!!
Having spent a while to digest your standard response of " embittered ex employee/dead wood recently cut out, which Imay or may not be ;-) I would offer this retort. Be I an employee or otherwise. ;-) there is NO disputing this company is crumbling before our very eyes. Middle East- A shambles IT System - A shambles Asset management - A shambles having to retrieve auction bound kit to stock the branches And a rumour that there have been several very high level casualties announced! Going well ain't it?? You can of course rely on the fact that my dead wood lonely ex/current employee drivel won't have any impact on the savvy people who hold this share
Well please explain what happened with Speedy in your words? " you seem to know everything or cracked on before that things where fine there ? What's happened weres the money from Middle East contract ? Wheres is Speedy going in 2015/ 16 and future. Sure the board will love to here ! " your opinion ? Thanks it would be nice to have your Red Army answer👍
I remember you when you were flyindutchman. Some things don't change, but to be fair you do a fantastic job of proving my point.
Looking back at your post over years " you are still brain washed and with your head in the clouds. How dare you talk after all the **** you have put on here over years ? This site is for people's views on current affairs that gives them a informed view of company possitive or negative. Your just a Sore Speedy sucker that's been taken for a ride. Let people say what they feel buyers or sellers will take this into account or maybe not that's called choice. Go back to Speedy and start looking for a new Job pal
And you spend far too much time on this site! LOL
There are some very lonely people out there who have obviously been released at some point by Speedy, but just don't know when to let go: whaddaukno 17 posts - all about Speedy and all comments are negative. WalkingBoss 14 posts - all about Speedy and all comments are negative. Bp123 21 posts- all about Speedy and all comments are negative. Mickeyinholland 17 posts- all about Speedy and all comments are negative. I'm sure that in their bitter little mind's they believe that they have been hard done by and they probably even think that people actually use the drivel that they spurt to make informed decisions about whether or not to buy shares, but please DYOR and not listen to these dead beat bums (who are probably at this very moment sharing a group reach around). GLA
Half year numbers will drive this to low 40's. Sell now,you have been warned!!
You've been warned.!!! Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus and numbers. Gideon is knocking, in your hotel while you slumber. Swallower of planets, the profits of doom.!!!
KEEP for now but SELL before half year results are released or you will lose even more
so whats the majority vote? keep or sell?
Good morning all{:-))
Do you live in a clock ?
Balance around 45/50 although would not risk myself.
You have to ask yourself, how low will this PLC be allowed to go? The new guy will probably steady the ship, it's his first CEO role and he's an accountant so you won't see anything radical ( un-like the last one who for some strange reason believed his own hype). Take a longer term view, before long the Chairman will be forced into making a very simple but obvious decision, when he does those shares just may be worth a bob or two...........
