Hope the big investors reject this low bid, which the Board should have rejected. Share price now suggests no alternative offer coming. Will with regret take a decent profit, but some shareholders will take a loss. Being sold at a bargain low price.
Likewise, bought in at sub £1. What are our options and timeframes here? Do we just have to accept the 210p and is it final? If it is done and dusted then I will just sell, as I’d rather re-invest it elsewhere. Many Thanks
Having bought at £1 myself early in 2020 this share has been sold cheap, it was £5 only a few years ago it was a great recovery stock having overcome covid and contract supply issues
£2.20 is so short of valuing this companies forward p/e Just like ELM boards are selling out too cheap
looking very good
Happy with the update. Seems like the future is most definitely bright!
On most technicals, let’s hope results don’t disappoint......
Bemused by what an incredibly quiet board this is!-
ok folks - results due next week. SP now above 140. What's the thinking?
This time last year there was a Trading Update. Surprised that there has not been one today. Results due Nov 17th.
hold hold next 140
minimum 140p hold
Brilliant update, market will take this very positively.
Well done to the management team for navigating the business so well during these times.
Yes, undercarriage: Good update - should see the price above £1 today & a decent uptrend established.
pretty good RNS all things considered.
FY21 Q1 revenues in the three months to 30 June 2020 well ahead of its COVID-19 scenario plan.
Group's outlook on full year trading profit is trending approximately 10% ahead of market expectations.
See no end to the slide , down apx 10% in a week on low low volumes. 2 algos been there for ages buying in very low figures and the other selling low figures _ what do you think?
Got a few more under a quid today, near 54 week low, below recent placing and directors buying.
..here I think as this is definitely an overreaction imo
yes, most definitely placing shares.
A total of 30,758,649 Placing Shares have been successfully placed with existing and new institutional investors at a price of 105 pence per Placing Share (the "Placing Price")
probably their placing shares.
have taken a 5.18% stake.
Agreed. Solid smaller cap shares like this one have been overlooked in the current really/ climate.
All the managers and II's piled in at £1.05. It's back to the ridiculously low level of £1.10. Given that factories have been working throughout lockdown as protected materials producers, I expect the reversal to be rapid and substantial to £1.35 plus on the grounds of solid management, prudent cash handling and increasingly positive prospects as lockdown eases and dressings, adhesives etc start to pull through the supply chains.
Earnings have been held back but I expect a rapid transition and 'catch-up' in H2 this year before getting rapid traction in 2021. The ability to quickly transfer and utilise IP across the businesses and prospects for substantial growth in the healthcare arena should see the shares being seriously taken up by II's wanting excellent growth and quick return to dividend. Excellent share IMO with keen and seasoned BoD who work well under pressure.
Any relaxation of lockdown will speed up recovery here. Medical adhesives for dressings and in-house production will take off after a lull in hospital operations. The use of adhesive body-sensor technology will transform the way that the medical professions access real-time patient data in coming years. Remote data collection will be transferred via internet and EMIS? to surgeries and consultants. Huge market potential. The manufacture and sale of social distancing tapes will also provide a huge infill to the industrial adhesive side pending recovery of other markets. I am very opstimistic of a quick turnaround here. Time will tell but at £1.15 this is just too low imo for a quality group of niche businesses with excellent contacts and
fairly robust barriers to entry at this scale.
A good week for the stock. Solid
I expect this has been unloved and a newspaper tip to liven it up soon
