I'd be up for joining you with that!
What are the costs of p.e. a AR3000? I still want to crowdfund one. If corrupts like politicians aka lobbyists can't get things done, I'll try. I'll fund one of these bastards

Absolute no brainer to me, the Severn barrage seems to be gathering pace again also. Similar massive costs to nuclear, but likely to be built quicker and with no waste to sort out which after 70 years is still held in 'temporary' storage.

I'm not a regular reader, this came up in my Google suggested articles, almost like it knows what I've been typing...
This is what can be achieved. This is the future for Green Renewable Energy:

Not sure why this has dropped over the last week or so, however, it has given me an opportunity to load up with an extra 200,000 shares
Thank you for sharing.
My cynical side says it's fossil/nuclear lobbyists holding too much sway over short-sighted decision makers in government and/or 'old boys' club doing favours for their old school chums in fossil/nuclear.
Which was in Cfd message from mister tidal????
You're welcome :)
I think we may be confident that SAE can secure another contract this year given the fenced budget.
It would still be interesting what it would take to get the MWh price tag down again. It was around £175/MWh and according to the CATAPULT report, sub £100/MWh is possible at 1GW deployed. That's quiete a lot. Hence, I wonder, what is the missing piece here? What keeps the UK away from investing more?
If MeyGen wasn't able to convince policy makers so far, we must hope that the next phase can but will SAE/Proteus be able to do this with the CfD money they allocated so far?
I wish we got more guidance and information here..
Thanks for that Mr T
Just for info Pot 2 includes
Pot 2: Advanced Conversion Technologies, Anaerobic Digestion (>5MW),
Dedicated Biomass with CHP, Floating Offshore Wind, Geothermal, Tidal
Stream, and Wave.
Also worth bearing in mind to apply and qualify they need to have a grid connection in place of which Meygen has .
"The Pot 2 budget of £105m includes an £8m monetary maximum for geothermal and ringfenced support (a monetary minimum) of £10m for tidal stream projects."
Wish this budget was larger though. I still don't get these half measures.
We need to see cost coming down but how if they hesitate with more significant monetary support?

I agree and have just bought 66864 to top up my LTH
Thanks, I have just bought them.
I hope you get the price you want.
I'm pretty sure I will get back into Simec, but I'm going to wait until some news first.

I already have 2 million shares in this one, but I’m tempted to pick up maybe 200,000 that you have sold if the price is still right.
Hi
That sale was me, I would normally have sold before based on loss; but for some reason I didn't. Which cost me another £912. I like SIMEC but there are better places to put my money in at the moment.
Hope it turns around soon and reached its potential. GLA
In germany spread sucks as hell... Best price is 1,4 pence. And I need some more oprimistic RNS for I don´t want to participate in a phantasy enterprise doing nothing but sitting on its' hands.
