The cause was failed hydraulics. Makes you wonder about the quality of aircraft maintenance?
No doubt we can look forward to an overreaction to the share value
Yes and yes.
Here we go again.
I believe that may be a P&W powered aircraft, not RR. Not that it will get in the way of a news story!
Does the airline only operate four freighter A330 aircraft with the trent 700. I'm looking to confirm this is not a aircraft with RR engines. As I said earlier this is a hydraulic issue. Appears so far not engine related.
Appears to be GE CF6 engines. Quite a rare bird.
If it was on the 12th May, as stated in the original Manchester Evening news article, then it was A330-200 TC-JIT. This is P&W powered.
Also the images are not Trent 700 engines.
Agree. It’s their - 300s that have CF6 whereas their-200 s have PW4000.
As it is not an engine issue as already stated then it has No bearing on the SP , I can’t believe certain people pick up on theses stories obviously no knowledge of parts of the aviation sector

Btw brains, I never said it was RR engines, did I.

I only put a post on explaining an emergency landing, that's all I did, but you always post your sissy nonsense and btw Me! influence others lol give me a break.
You keep saying Goodbye but always always follow me. lol
Badland, you posted a link referring to an emergency landing.
Now if it was an engine malfunction or an engine manufacturing problem and that engine was a Rolls-Royce, then it would be relevant.
But it isn't an engine problem but a minor hydraulic one.
Can't you see that it's as relevant to this thread as you posting the Turkish Airlines menu because everyone on this thread needs to eat?.
Can you see whatcan irrelevant post it was?
Well Cevdude, for a start, I saw the landing post in the middle of the night and tried to find out which engines they had, but couldn't as I was a wee bit tired, so I though, hang on, why don't I post it on this fine forum which is full of very friendly people who might be able to help.... but no, all I got was the sissy remarks as per. never mind eh.
