Any new RNS from Bank of America
Day high will be 4.26 + I suspect barring any curve balls , based on DJ, FTSE futures more than anything else.
Hope everyone had a wonderful bank hol - even though it rained nettles and dogs!
Well its supposed to be 'economies of scale' the more you build the cheaper the next one is, suppliers of materials are sourced, the machinery for the manufacturing parts is done, obstacles are understood, the right people are employed.
Just announced by Airbus 06/05/24
Indian carrier Indigo placed firm order for 30 x A350-900
That should be good for RR
There never was plans for a "summer general election" ?
.... and leave the inevitable legal challenges to the next administration.... :-)
don't use google :-) (it's ****e.....)
Ignore that, google wrong at time.
US RR doing well today, up nearly 3%
IMHO - You have to be a bit careful here. The RR Modular reactors would be much larger than most SMR's, and more is known about the costs (being a development of an existing design). Based on the projected costs a 7 unit cluster of RR reactors would be cheaper than 2 units of the EDF design (and the same total power output).
Good news for Airbus but not going to benefit RR as narrow body, they so need to re enter the narrow body market.
I work with the home office and the date being muted is 19th November so 🤞🏽
Conflicting argument for SMRs

Rolls-Royce Holdings plc (RRN.MX)
Saudi Arabia's budget airline Flyadeal is considering placing an order for more single-aisle Airbus aircraft and upgrading its existing order of 50 narrow-body jets, as it seeks to grow its international route network.
Flyadeal, an all-Airbus fleet operator, is looking into converting its existing order of A320 Neos and A321 Neos to higher specification aircraft, Steven Greenway, the new boss of the no-frills carrier, told The National.
The potential modification will increase the maximum take-off weight, improve the performance of the jet engines and secure the so-called ETOPS certification that allows for longer flights over water.
It is also considering increasing the number of larger A321 Neos in its existing order to deal with capacity constraints at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and limited landing slots at congested airports.
Once it finalises decisions about modifications of its current order book, Flyadeal may place a new order for Airbus A320 Neos and A321 Neos, with a decision to come in the next two months, Mr Greenway said.

... but if I was, I'd quite like this story:
No 10 ‘shelves plan for summer general election’
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/05/05/downing-street-shelves-plan-summer-general-election/
I mean, if I was a cynical cat, I'd be suggesting that it would benefit the Tories no end to be seen as the 'best for Britain' party, by awarding the entire SMR contract(s) to RR who have now said they will use a British company as a third party for supplies for the interim.
Good job I'm not a cynical cat.

Good bot.

Regardless the news is relevant.

If the person made one mistake, just move on its not the end of the world, Achilles seems pretty positive in general, its like a witch hunt of backwards people because someone posts a little different.
I can’t understand it either !
ADMIN?
The fitch upgrade has worried me because the share price didn't move on their announcement!! So I'm scared that if rolls don't get a high percentage of the contracts, The share price might well even go down on the announcement when the government actually do the announcement. The whole process has been a joke to be honest. A perfect example of this inept government.
