Mytton
You’re right, they are tired old brands, airwick? Dettol? It’s a tired poorly run business,, has made terrible desperate expensive acquisitions, always a sign of a business running out of ideas, like most of the crap on the ftse 100 dog index of the world.
Reckitt: Deutsche Bank reiterates buy with a target price of 8,200p
Mutton - you are missing the point. RB has the best range of products for the pandemic and people staying home. Airwick, Dettol, Harpic, Vanish - all home hygiene products and are flying off the self!! I say keep churning these out and try to improve margins. Don't do anything stupid at this point.
Good month so far
Nice to see an associate of an insider to RB pick up 6 300 shares at a cost of £376 000.
RB should liven up their product range.
Airwick - who buys that?
Dettol - stinks
neurofen - generic paracetamol is better
harpic - own brand loo fresheners better.
They need some modern products not stuff grannies use.
Hi All, a new article on Reckitt Benckiser has been posted to my website - analysis of the FY 2020 and outlook - available here: https://www.thetwentiestrader.com/post/reckitts-mead-hangover
headline impressive but what they said wasnt in terms of pricing. they said that input prices are higher but instead of raising prices, they will try to make productivity savings in order to not make the customer pay more. this suggests own brands are creating real competition in the west. i think they need to concentrate on asia and south america, growth mkts where there is little competition.
Very impressive results - hold for the long term and enjoy the divi on the way.
Massive value here IMO, hope to see a 10% jump tomorrow when Finals are announced along with a juicy big dividend. Let's see.
In here at the close yesterday along with Unilever. Looks like value here.
We will be around 7000p at final results and then grow from there. Industry leading dividend is coming IMO on 24th.
RB is on track to invest £2B in its turnaround plan over three years...I wonder just how much of this figure will be covered by the increase in sales figures for this year?
Great value at the moment and looking forward to the update on 24th February.
Cant find anything for trading uldate tomorrow where did you get this information thanks
Great news...good to reach an amicable settlement and get this off our back.

Crikey. Up 3.7% in the blink or two of an eye.
Tide is turning ahead of 27 Jan results update, 3% now!!
Yup, picked up a few more for my ISA, only an extra 2% of my holding, but all the income that's available this month. Hoping for a £1.10 divi in May with cover over 2x.
I can see “Sanitising stations” being positioned at public venues for the foreseeable future.
There may never again be a time where they completely disappear, especially in the winter months.
And they will be selling cleaning products for the rest of 2021, hygiene will be the key to reduce infection over next year or so. I also expect a juicy dividend next month.
I totally agree seems a bit insane really but i am expecting very good results so will hold until end of Feb and expect 7000 will be achieved by then easily
RB will have been selling disinfectant and other cleaning products hand over fist these last few weeks and months and the share price is pre C-19 levels!
i see sub 8000p by end of February, seems a certainty to have very strong Q4 results.
