1 yes sold 2 cash has been received 3 court date needs to approve , envisaged court hearing for December 2 and shareholder approval vote to take place before SFO may be objection to payout or court might decide to deny approval because of future liabilities arising from alleged accounting fraud or board might limit payout because those potential liabilities theres only a desire to make payout from board its not guaranteed .
Agree tailwagger: checking the posting history of these 'sleeper' troll accounts reveals all.
a year ago you said it was a god(sic)share and you were going to invest thousands.surley with that much invested you have kept up to date.
MJFS The 'legal part' (PSD) was sold end Q1/2015 to Slater & Gordon, an Australian Law firm (ASX:SGH) A sum of about £640m was banked by Quindell at the end of June 2015. The Sale Contract provides for further payments if the NIHL business is successful. Quindell paid off all debts, including all overdrafts. The new BoD have made reasonable commitments to repay substantial sums back to shareholders but delays have arisen when it comes to actual payment. Specific reasons have not been offered but many suspect the SFO Investigation needs to conclude to enable the BoD to remove an unknown liability from the books. All IMHO. Little else is publicly known. The SFO do not do Press Releases on 'work in progress'. ATB, P
Ok. Has legal part been sold? have they received the cash from slater gordon? Why no pay out as yet?
Yep. thought someone might state a couple of lines to respond as you guys spend time watching these boards Thanks all the same though
It's not an easy answer at all. It depends on who has written it.
Mel, what's happened to your Post? ATB, P
MJFS Easy answer here. Just read some past Posts.
Is this is a no brainer top up opportunity? Buy at a £1 then get your £1 back - then free share? Or is the risk that that £1 payout might not happen? Has legal part been sold? have they recieved the cash from slater gordon? Why no pay out as yet? is the company that remains worth more than 0p? Any help would be good
Good morning Mel I had to look it up, for a moment I thought you were saying something rude .... The thing is Mel, the bad times are behind Quindell, good times are appearing on the horizon. Bloggers herein should be far more positive and constructive. All we need now is a bit of (personal) money invested and some time and patience. There isn't going to be a stream of RNS's, ever. That is not the way a business is run. A lot of secrecy is required to outwit competitors and 'enemies'. This BoD is not going to be a soft touch for anyone. Possibly the Quindell subsidiaries will start to use their own web sites for Sales & Marketing releases, but really it is up to them, their own styles of trading. Too much release of Sales Success before the contract is executed always leads to problems, not least giving competitors a chance to unseat the business before you have collected the cash. ATB, P PS I'm retired, but do some microelectronics research. Cockle warmer, I'm speechless .....
interesting weekend you are going to have.
Crikey AEM. Would love that, but reverse engineering that , with the no of shares we have , even if you assume a TRAK like PE of 40 ( big if), would imply an expectation of 10p earnings per share. C. £45m group profits after tax + say £100mfor cash in balance sheet. Around "£2b " market capitalisation. I didnt get where I am today by knowing anything about the future. Mel
""omg, sweaty trolls.somebody kindly give me a nice mental image."" Sweaty trolls chained to damp dungeon walls?
omg, sweaty trolls.somebody kindly give me a nice mental image.
I admire your optimism, Phrontist and I am confident you will believe every word I say when I tell you I most sincerely hope you are right, but I will wait a little before I see what the future here holds. I'll be honest, I wouldn't be too surprised at 400p at some point, perhaps by the end of 2016, especially with the good management we now have in place. I am getting quite excited as time is passing by. I wonder when the beads of sweat will start forming on the trolls foreheads? Should be soon....... ONE GOOD RNS.....
The use of telematics in the vehicle (and aerospace + shipping) insurance and security business is a global business. Once Quindell subsidiaries have proven their wares in the UK and North America, the sky is the limit. Have you ever worked in a company where the product is a Software Package enjoying a popular up-take? Cost of manufacturing = £nil. Sales Invoice = £big bucks. Result - fast growth, high profitability, lowish capital underwriting, no WIP rubbish. And broad smiles on The Faithful (Long Shareholders). A little more patience, maybe six months for it all to shine. I always enjoy the start of Spring. ATB, P
js88, I have been saying for six months or so that SP=£2 (incl Cap Repay) by end 2015 and SP=£4 after issue of 2015 Audit around Mar/April 2016 I still think this will happen, maybe slip a bit, that's all. When issues discussed yesterday start to get resolved, suddenly it will all come together. The new BoD behind-the-scenes graft will show their true talents, unhampered by financial ills of the past and encouraged by the telematics/insurance business opportunities and Big Business of the present and future. At heart, I am still Long and a Positive Ramper. ATB, P
happyholder, it is interesting what you say. Some herein have said in the past that the heavy interest of M&G to clean Quindell up and restore it to a credible business, hence SP=£2.17+ becomes reality, is part of the driving force over the last year. It is a very encouraging sentiment, I hope its true. ATB, P
A positive board today ( I have filtered the time wasters). Some positive news will be announced shortly. The SP will respond according.
Another brilliant informative post getitright. With 80k invested here one would think you might have more of substance to contribute.
The three stooges are really going for it this morning, maybe the boss has given them a rocket?
Sorry just to correct that, he had a big stake before Gotham and topped it up to 8% after, no doubt trying to average down.
This share needs to get back to its true value of around £1.30, now with a good leadership team £1.60-£1.80 is possible within the next year.
I remember the name Tom Dobell bondstreet. He bought an 8% stake in quindell on behalf of M&G after Gotham. I remember him famously quoting "Gotham doesn't scare me off". I bet he wished it did now.
