10% of the company in the last 2 days.wonder who?
A holdings RNS to follow no doubt.....
There has been some very considered and sensible posts on Parity on ADVFN over the last week or so that have addressed the SP volatility. There has also been some laughable de-ramping posts that spectacularly ill informed.
Rate hike should help a little with the pension.
Surprised we've dropped so much after a good update.
The excitement of investing in a nutshell....as has always been MrB...Nothing happens for ages then Whoosh all of a sudden up or down and in a flash....oh bu*ger, I missed it!....lol
Always seems like such a long haul with this one. A familiar TU never particularly illuminating, just another hold on for a few months and we'll give you a little bit more. All the while I'm just hoping one day I'll wake up look at the share price and go 'Whooppee Doo'. Back to bed for now Zzzzzzzzzzz.
I like the phrase "double digit growth". Snappy and to the point.
Net debt not mentioned but it should be getting close to zero as well.
A pretty terse TU but it looks like it's steady as she goes.
Looks a bit high risk for me, Ive had enough of these in the past. But Ill see what the year end figures look like. If they run to -800,000 as per the estimates and if theres been the cash call, or theres no need for it I may join you. Gemd is one of mine atm. Hoping for more traction when the trading update comes through.
Rising even not oving ..
I wonder if supply is drying up here, price oving nicely
" if only all investments were so simple.".....ha ha, second that comment....we were both wrong to say that Kainos was expensive at 230p by the way, missed chance on that one.....I've picked up a few of Quadrise (QFI....who hope to market MSAR) in hope that they can market it and if so could be a massive rise in SP....short term may need to raise funds though so be careful if you are interested.....I only post if anything of interest but will definitely stay with you on PTY MrB
Hi there, was wondering if you were still with us. 20p sounds like a good target. Im so glad that I doubled up at 8.25p. Normally wrong, but it feels like we are on an upward leg atm. Soon, I may be able to put stop loss on, deep joy. My PFC sold out again on me just shy of 6 and I see the shortersare moving back so Im hoping to be able to get back in there in a couple of weeks. That company has given me an 80% rise since November, if only all investments were so simple.
SP now moving up nicely and is the highest it has been for a few years MrB.I first bought at 30p and averaged down, as you do when you don't want to give up on a share you took a fancy to; target is 20p in the short term if we don't see anymore selling from Philip Swinstead...medium/long term who can tell but a definite hold for now.....
I can understand it would be galling to see management rewarded for getting you back where you started!
Well Slick your perspective will be different to mine, as you didnt buy in @22p and then wait 5 years for them to get the accounts and profit margins in order. But if they want to attract and keep long / medium term investors then they need to show that the company profits will not be milked by the management imho.
I don't think it's that bad. A third at 16p, a third at 19.2p and a third at 22.4p, and they have to pay 12.8p to get them. They're not actually worth that much in the grant scheme of things, and they'll only get them if they do a good job.
Guess people dont like it when the directors start awarding themselves chunk of a company when they havent completed the turnaround. As an investor for over 5 years I think they should be concentrating on introducing a dividend and increasing shareholder value. These guys are getting good renumeration already. Ok a pat on the back fair enough, but dont be greedy with shareholders money, patience and goodwill. Its more than just a couple of people on the board that make this company tick. All my opinion of course.
If people see it as a buying opportunity then well know fairly soon Imo. Personally I think its too cheap for a pullback, but then Ive been here for 5 years and first bought at 22.
Looks overbought. But if enough people want it, it should bounce quite easily. Well see heh.
I guess we can't keep going up forever.... anyone know if anything caused that?
So they put in yesterdaySd trades - the figures look wrong - great. Not impressed either the MMs are indequate/lazy or its deliberate messing around. Theres no standards or accountability these days.
Great day today, looks like I might have got in just in time.
Looks like a convincing breakout so far after a bull trap in late March. This isn't advice, but in my opinion PTY is a buy. DYOR Next stop 15p. but need to wait to the close for confirmation.
Finally hit breakeven..... that was hard going. I just need another 50% to make all the waiting worth it.
