Some good discussions on ADVFN discussion board re PTY
Slick, just come accross this myself this morning, might watch for a week or two as not sure why the 4% increase today but long term it looks a good option as you say once dept is clear end of this year have the option to start paying dividends....
Bought in this morning, looks very cheap now the disposal has gone through. Once the debt is clear, the strong cash generation should be able to support a cracking dividend going forwards. I don't see any reason why they couldn't pay out at least 1.5m per year if they wanted to, which would be nearly 13% at the current market cap.
... on the back of the news. Whooooo...
... on the back of the news. Whooooo...
Great news.
11m mcap and will have an operating profit over 2m and probably much more after this sale Debt will almost be gone by year end
Inition sold.
No eyse,. But as you rightly eluded to we're all getting older.
Mr Bond, you whetted my interest. Sour grapes about the pupil becoming the master?
Got my own ideas, as to why PS may be selling, but it wouldn't be pc to air them on the board. I think I saw a video clip of him about 9 months ago. Can't really remember, but of course I can't find it now.
Swinstead is in his 70s so I can imagine at some point you want to tidy up investments. However, it seems a strange time to do so with PTY, when the company is in the best shape its been in years. As a poster on ADVFN noted, Mrs Swinstead also has about 1.5 million shares. This could long and painful.
Philip Swinstead continues to sell......wonder if he will decide to sell all of his holding......not a very nice chap to do it at the same time as the Results come out is he......sod the LTH who would have loved a rising SP for a change hey MrB......the rascal....
Not sure what to think. I agree the price should be higher, perhaps the next few months will show upward movement. It would be annoying if it gets pushed down again by long term sellers who have lost their patience. I would have thought it's a good entry time for new Parity investors.
2p eps at 10 times seems reasonable. Look at the cash it's throwing off and the reduction in net debt in one year. Prospects of acquisition in the consultancy field and the possibly sale of Inition should also help. Will Questor do an update as they were quite keen?
Surely with the SP at 11.8p this share is very good value notwithstanding the risks of this being a very small business.......selling,, if continued by Philip Swinstead will dampen the SP, but I will hold as I see 20p on the mid term horizon........what you think MrB!
The Board will not declare a dividend at this time but looks forward to restoring a dividend in the medium term.
Looks like Swinstead has been selling about 2 million of his 14 million shares. It'll be long and painful if he intends to sell out completely.
Daily Teleg Quaestor sticking with it as a "hold" today. So am encouraged. T
Mention of a possible fundraise to kick start the consultancy arm you mean MrB.........lets see what reaction we get to the results out soon......SP is a puzzle..........
An article to cheer about - slightly
