Angel: Have you read the article ? Nautilus are predicting they will lose $42 million ( its more than PR M's m cap !!!) and their m cap is $1.3billion ,! Yes, they have some big big backers but still they, I think, don't have their platform ready to go etc. Only been going since 2006 !
So, why can't PR M get out their BIG drum, be bold, be load and be noticed but in particular over there.
B t w you are right, UK science companies are good at that part but are NOT great at marketing, comms and "blowing their trumpet" They need a money lesson from stateside unfortunately
Either proteome sciences takes advantage of this and steps up to the plate to develop and promote its services (I don’t mean just at business trade shows) it has to promote investors from retail and corporate, or it will grow in a stunted rather than upwards direction . Please Mariola promote the services and send over to brokers to do your bidding .
Here is a link about the American stocks and nautilus which has big backers

Prm is way undervalued . People find it hard to understand as well and this is a sector that’s relatively new.
Proteomics is the next big thing .. I see it and things are now and changing fast . Prm is world leading and the most advanced . Uk is different to the usa ..over there they invest and have deep pools of resource and big backers.. here this sector isn’t invested in .. institutions don’t invest in this area in the uk and that leaves us vulnerable and open for take over , but this I think will start to change .. institutions will begin to turn to this .. proteome
Sciences really doesn’t utilitise Media and communication so well .. they are a bit inward , closed and about themselves .. they need to be outward and open to other ideas and innovations .. u can’t compare this to the US stocks . We don’t know what is going on behind the scenes regarding take over,.. the SP moves with news and their news is dire . I expect to see good sales for the last quarter . I hope to see growth shortly and a merger to become a bigger workforce as a leading UK diagnostic centre .
Angel: I agree things are different in USA and our small tech often get gobbled up so all the Ip and future revenue don't stay here. If PR M are so good in this field why have they not been taken over? I'm not negative, just wonder.
Intellia and 10xgen Genomic are both traded in US and are big in comparison with little older PR M .
I'm all for the science but I have invested to make money. They could do with some one to market and connect with the wider world. Look at the valuations on the above companies! Ok, you might say they are more genomic than proteomics but it doesn't look like a pure play, there is overlap. We need to shout load as the outside world is waking or has woken to this field of study and the protein path, d n a is phenomenal, proteomics is a whole other ball game of discovery and will be even more life changing. Could this be reflected in the sp ?
Hi prime not sure about them …are they listed on American exchanges ? America is different from the uk in the field of biotechs .. institutions and big money invest there in emerging technology .. they are forward thinking and have big pools of funds that are willing to invest .. just on the radio today it was saying this and that the uk doesn’t have this and institutions don’t invest in these fields which is such a shame and that it HAS to change .. most of the uk small emerging innovative biotechs are then left at the mercy of foreign buyers who buy them out and our uk technology should really be kept in the uk and developed here so we make the money . Proteome has been silent for a while but I think I see regeneration roots of growth especially in this time where biotechs will all revolve around proteomics as it’s an FDA requirement .. Mariola seems very professional and has contacts with China wanting to invest.. I have expressed my concern why PRM don’t market or promote themselves on social media to inform us of what is happening and how it works, which greatly gets the technology out there and more understood as well as generate more business and faithful investors ..instead they decide that it’s not in their interest atm , not recognising the importance .. hopefully they will start thinking like America ‘outside the box’ rather being so woolly and insulated in their thinking . uk institutions will start to recognise the field of proteomics and its importance and start to buy in bulk . Uk revival and innovation is being promoted to stay in the UK. If our small emerging biotechs can’t get investment they lay at the mercy of being taken by others with all the IP and know how .. PRM is the best and most advanced in this field for UK and Europe . It is the next big area that should develop at fast speeds .. I am confident in my choice here.
Angel: Some interesting reading in those links but PR M share price have done nothing much in 10 years. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a believer in the science but wonder why the sp sits while other protei omi c shares seem to fly? From the Forces link, Intellia and TH G . Both have had huge rises in spite?
Where’s proteome sciences test?????

Really amazing .. looking at so many compounds found naturally too that are efficacious in treating disease
I hope proteome sciences I has some part to play here as they work with understanding Alzheimers..

...I would not be too surprised to see a cheeky t/a bid from USA.

We need to step up and partner to be a real leader !!.. look what nautilus is doing ? I’ve said before to look at chemical analysis digital platform like deepmatter . #dmtr . Come on proteome sciences link up with yr Cambridge /Oxford peers so the uk can be a world leader in proteomics ! We need to be at the forefront !

I see . Yes 1p is a little low .. 3 or 4p should be okay .. that is taking advantage of the long shareholders who have suffered and are trying to promote proteome sciences who only lately seem to be getting more in gear with taking full opportunity of the market
My only worry is if there is further fundraising needed for further growth after the review. Keeping an eye out for that although the city seems to have had their fill of numerous fundraising activities recently.
I can't see anything wrong in 1p. Sure it's a discount but the directors are still incentivised for SP growth. Even if Mariola was to exercise 3m on the first vested date say September 20201 at lets say 7P, Thats only 210K subject to tax which is effectively nearly double her salary of about 220K.
There are far worse examples of directors lining their own pockets and Sh**fting PI shareholders than this on the AIM
Mariola has been in the job 9 months,Their forte is testing for diseases, they have had an opportunity dropped in their lap,not one mention of Covid from them. The one test they have a hand in,stroke, has been put on the back burner by Randox, why, because Randox concentrated on Covid, where there was money to be made. Then what do they do,”reward” board members with share options @1p,why not 5p,still a nice turnover,1p is an absolute pssstake, and 15% of the companies issue,Let’s just hope there is something in the background that justifies these rewards, but usually with PRM,there won’t be.
I've been a shareholder here for a fair while but have never posted before. A Pharma background and I can see the investment case for this company but it is after all a small company and a penny share on the aim with all that entails.
I really can't understand the Mariola bashing. She joined the company in the middle of the pandemic with its stated limited opportunities. It's stated that they are undertaking a review of the commercial opportunities to grow the business. How long do you think it takes in this climate - 5 minutes.
Can't see the issue with the share options.... why shouldn't the directors reward themselves.
The question of course is whether the directors can enhance shareholder value, I think they will once we see some updates in the financials but for me the company valuation is about right on what we know.
Another kick in the teeth for long term holders, why at 1p,not a great reflection on future price. And what has Mariola done so far to warrant such a reward.??
Why is this down? News regarding Alzheimer’s in the news atm so hopefully we can play our part in this .
1p options over 5% of the co for the directors, most of ot to the brains. Do they know someone's sniffing around to bid?
I am not up on science but the news just now on this protein which causes Alzheimers and clearance in USA for a drug which kills off this protein. Trials show candidates with early stage Alzheimers start feeling better as the drug starts killing the offending protein. The importance of proteomics is now centre-stage and markers are key. Read it tomorrow in your decent newspaper. The future is looking very exciting for PRM. Glad I already hold here.
