Hi BDT,
Thank you for the posting.
Loved the steer re surly bonds and enjoyed digging deeper.
May we all all get altitude sickness as PRD comes flies to great heights.....
Hiya Sefton.....from my beginnings of learning to fly, i was inundated with reading materials / charts to practice with, all manner of learning aids....including the dreaded whizz wheel( look it up)from my ex work mate and her partner...poem.was in many of the materials.....if i remember rightly, it was surmised that he wrote the poem whilst under the influence of altitude sickness..still a beautiful peace of prose though, and well apt i thought to Mem's recent predicament.....anyway, sorry for off topic post everyone, but wanted Sefton to know that he still has friends/followers on here.....
Lets hope for an uptick tomorrow....but after my purchases if possible :).

Trinidad is in discussions to be in favour of oilers in trinidad via taxes ext so anything negative will get wiped.
BDT,
One of the reasons I enjoy this BB is that they are so many interesting, clever people on here with so much to add.
I loved your reference to slipping the surly bonds of earth and dug deeper to the author, a Canadian Air Force officer in WWII.
I really want PRD's stock price to do per ardua ad astra (ideally with less of the ardua) but just learning about PO Magee and his inspiring poem would have made this whole BB worth it.
Bdt, have to hope though that WTI does not exceed $75. If I remember correctly when SPT was set at WTI $50 it only had to touch this price once within the quarterly period for SPT to be levied on the company's entire income for that quarter, less any capex relief that could be taken into account. The company I refer to was Columbus.
Afternoon Nicodemus et all... don't know if anyone noticed, opec are now playing with us as opposed to against us.. .. Wti, and Brent just passed their yearly high.....should do wonders for our T&t pennies, along with hopefully increased production.....and gas prices in Morocco linked to oil as well.....looking good .
Gla .....lets try and keep thus board civil.....never felt need to green box anyone on here
Bdt......definitely not in slightest lgbt taff :) :) :(
Afternoon Mem....free from imprisonment hopefully by now and soon to "slip the surly bonds of earth"again.:) Very good afternoon Sefton....had to put that in....
In line with recent unsavoury comments on board about wanting sp to drop etc....i will add my two pence worth....personally i was glad today about the drop.....purely selfish reasons on my behalf, sold quite a few tuesday but with delay between selling and showing as settled in my account, i will be in a position after today's trading to hopefully purchase a very similar amount in my isa.....i am not in a position where i have oodles of pennies to buy more in my isa before selling some of my holding to cover myself, so i have to sell in the hope that in the next two days the sp will not rise dramatically and hopefully fall.....so we do all have our reasons for differing sp movement, not some cunning yet devious plan to bring about mass changes in Pg's excellent stewarding of the company and it's publicity or lack of.....i wont be drawn into that argument but i will say am happy(very) with current workings.... anyway enough ramblings....
Could be worse.....look at messages on Bpc board ....absolute bedlam

Admittedly lockdown is boring and I have referred to Blackdog (BDT) as LGBT for and wound Sefton up.over Flagstaff for a spot of sport.
However, I honestly find this board an oasis of calm and intelligent discussion in an insane world. Most of us are here because we've spotted a diamond in the dust rather than because we are o & g professionals so it's good to share what we know.
Some boards where I've held wete like war zones, BPC, PMO, SOU... so it would be good for our collective consciousness to stay tranquil and peaceful..
Namaste..
Hi S82, just ignore any comments. The BB will be more balanced with your views, good or bad, no one agree’s with someone all the time.
I value your contribution, thank you, even if I do not always agree with everything, you challenge myself and others to consider a different viewpoint. :)
Cheers MEM
BB's should never be about the personalities on the BB.
It should be about the company and the sharing of insights and information.
At which this BB excels.
Regrettably, I seem to have become a focus of personal attention on this BB because of this twat, Kasja.
It is, therefore, time to step back and say nothing further.
I will read this BB (it has always been a great one) and may post again.
But I will be very careful.
Twats like Kasja cause lots of harm on social media media platforms.
Kasja,
As for your posting that I want the price to go down so as to buy more, I have bought a lot recently at between 8.5p and 9.5p so if I were to trying to pump the stock down in order to buy up more, I am not much bloody good at it, am I???
Fool.
Kasja,
You might take care to see that my suggestion about a direct placing was met with a lot of opposition on this BB, all well-argued and thought through.
I read all the postings against what I had suggested and I fully understood where those that expressed those views were coming from. Indeed, I re-considered my position on the basis of some of those posts and came to the view that they were probably right and my suggestion was wrong.
It was never anything more than a suggestion and I would hope that the discussion it elicited created value.
If discussion on this BB is to be thwarted by rantings such as yours against me, I would suggest that that is not to the benefit of the shareholders of PRD.
Again, I would invite you to **** off.
Hi Kasja,
I am rather taken aback at your post.
I am h=just a small shareholder in PRD and have only ever added shares - never once sold a single one.
I would like the share price to go up, however long that may take. That is my sole agenda.
My real view of what I think of your post would involve more expletives and comparisons to sewage than would be healthy for this BB, which generally has high quality people on it, even when we may not al ways agree.
So, **** off.
Sefton, you keep repeating your highly opinionated views on Flagstaff and their lack of involvement in IR.
Various and highly respected posters to this board have responded to you and stressed in a precise manner why this is the last thing to be concerned about, unless of course what you are trying to do is hype the company and thereby the share in order to trade it.
Which is a possible reason for you to keep on mentioning your other favourite topic, the ‘hedgie’, as you like to call them.
Where you have said that you are wanting them on board via issuing them with shares? As you know this will cause dilution and quite possibly a drop in the share price, after all how can you be so sure that any 'hedgies' will retain those shares and not just sell them into the market? You may be convinced by the prospects of this company but what is to say that the hedgies will be?
I think people had enough of the 250,000 seller from sometime back and are more than happy that whoever it was has now disappeared.
MEM's comment awhile back in getting them to sign a contract can be broken at any moment in time, so what if they have to make a pay-out in the form of a penalty for breaching the contract? I am sure that they will be able to play both sides of the market to make sufficient money that any penalty payment will be insignificant.
In previous posts you mention the company being short of funds and thereby being in a weak position when it comes to negotiations, I do not see why that would be the case, Paul would only negotiate from a position of strength when he has proven a concept or the asset. Furthermore we are close to;
1) more news from T&T,
2) news on Ireland could drop at any time
3) the drill in Morocco in a couple of months, which along with the introduction to a potential buyer looks to me like a scoping exercise
All of these will be increasing the share price and depending on how positive the above news is, the share price increase could very well be beyond current comprehension, why dilute now?
Why get 'hedgies' on board now?
Let the work that PG has done speak for itself, and whoever listens carefully will know that this company offers a massive opportunity, shouting louder than any 'hedgie' possibly can.
So Sefton, ultimately what is your goal? I am guessing, as stated earlier that it is to trade this share, to put doubt into investors minds that there may be dilution or weakness during negotiations, hoping to buy in at a lower price, pumping of the share price to sell into and buy back later at a lower price.
I suggest people should exercise a higher level of caution than is normal when reading your posts.
