Discipline...
I agree...
BUT that would surely have resulted in the SP booming immediately...during the 6 JULY
And the days following 6 JULY!!!
This is a staggering arbitrage ...the like of which I have never seen before...and I have seen a few
All in my opinion etc etc
BTW...
I mentioned SQZ on here a few weeks ago
Worth looking at their SP then...and now

It probably would have had a significant difference if they had highlighted the potential 60km squared gas trap. That alone would have got people sitting up and taking notice. That's not including what we are zeroing in on in the rest of the acreage. Porosities and pressures add some more spice...
Some of the words were guarded for careful reasons. PG is looking at the grand prize not that far down the line. But unfortunately many got shaken up by market reactions and the cryptic RNS's, which was understandable.
This is high risk but the rewards are potentially great. You have to have an amount you can lose to see it through.
on the 28th.....
a pro-active presentation or somesuch, is it to be ?
- and Trindidad-centric...or exclusively.....or a mystery as yet ?
I recall that Wackmeister did a very helpful post or two about gas %s
it helped to explain the 6 JULY RNS

Thanks Zebra. TXP still massively undervalued in terms of future revenues. Maybe fair at moment, but will trend up over next 1-2years.
Thanks for the replies guys.
Agree with mick, less inform in our rns might have been better. I still believe it wasn't aimed at us but instead whoever may fund mou4/5.
Crazy how simple wording of similiar rns can have such contrasting market reactions.
@matt, great results for yourself and rest of txp holders.

As a long term holder of TXP, I can't recall ever seeing the level of detail that PG release, certainly not % gas shows. You get TD, strata encountered, depth of pay on drill completion. On testing, you get flow rates, then following pressure test, you get a resource estimate.
Hello Sefton
I am sure that nobody thinks of you as a pedant !
I stand corrected...of course
My apologies
Thanks

GRH,
You know I think your posts and the extraordinary value they add to here. Vast beyond words,
And I would not wish to be thought a pedant.
But I think it more likely (tehcnically) to be a squadron than a flotilla of flying pink pigs.
Have a great weekend all.....
Morning all...

I haven't yet
but we all know that the unusual wording of the PRD RNS of 6 JULY caused the decline in SP
Swathes of small PIs took fright and the SP decline was pretty violent...
very large volumes moved from smaller 'punters' to more considered players
I remain of the view that...had the RNSs of 6/12/19th JULY been issued together
or...even better (as another poster here suggested) ...in reverse order...
the PRD SP would have headed straight for/beyond 45p
The combination wording is really quite something...
I recommend anyone to read those three RNSs in reverse order and to form your own conclusion
Please study them and the notes in detail...
the wording is very remarkable
Quite WHY the RNS of 6 JULY was issued... as it was ...
remains a matter of conjecture...
I have my view which I have alluded to before
I am delighted to have Lonny as COO
and look forward to hearing him ...as well as PG of course... on 28th
It is very obvious that when news or an event might be close at hand,
a bunch of folk turn up with the usual drivel
I am sure those folk are unrelated one to another :)
and yes...a flotilla of pink flying pigs has just carried out a fly past over Wildernesse Cottage

In addition to the initial rns (he alluded to reasons for this but didn’t really elaborate, maybe he will next week) and the sub-optimal messaging from Pillbeam’s sales, the really annoying thing for me was the 5p placing. PG tells us that we have a discovery, but I think diluting himself (and us) by placing at 5p undermines the market’s confidence in this - after all he must think that was way too cheap given that in his view the market has misinterpreted MOU-1 results?! I think that’s why nothing has moved the SP since. Hope to God he has something new and positive to say next week.
Also TXP didn’t get into the nitty gritty of the actual gas show results. Maybe less might have been more wrt the reaction and the subsequent decline in share price, (versus ~30% rise for TXP this morning). That said, I don’t think the PRD rns’s were meant for shareholders.
The difference being the Rns, well communicated, unlike the first Rns we were given regarding MOU-1.
Anyone compared their results for gas shows today with ours?
