Did I read they were expecting first gas in October?
Why, I mentioned they are not all successful, which they are not, you didn’t like it and started getting personal which seems to be the “go to” stance here if any concerns or questions are asked. Anyway enough said Keith Oz has officially called SJ commencing next 2 or so weeks, let’s all wait and see the results. Fingers crossed it’s all good.
You're in overdrive today thebold.
Such expertise wasted fulltime on a bb.
We still remember your multiple experiences of Sand Jetting on here too 😂
Remind us again for fun 😉
Has Chariot mentioned when it expects to start drilling? I listened to Chariot's Duncan Wallace Webcast regarding Loukos and read through the Chariot RNS's and cannot find information regarding this... am I missing something?
Conventional explosive perfs did not work , did they. they did not work due to debris in the wellbore which has also ingressed into the formation and this could not be punched through , which is why we are using SJ in an attempt to work through it.
I also hope we are NOT perforating through casing , because if we are something is very wrong. We are NOT drilling big bore LNG Gas producers, where massive flowrates where high pressure gas flows up 7” or even 9-5/8” like Qatar etc. You spin it how you want, SJ perforating main use is for problematic well bore debris behind the OCTG intervals for the hoped for flowing reservoirs ( in our case i assume 4 or 4-1/2” tubing ) my statement was valid and correct. A successful SJ operation will not assure commercial flowrates ….I hope it does, but it is only a means to prove commercial flowrates not an assured solution.
Anyway, it will all be clear in 2-3 weeks wont it keith.
I don't post often, prefer to read & research but couldn't help notice Mr Thebold that you fully understand the difficulties with timelines being promised by organisations - as you so succinctly put it in your 25 March post 07.42 in another company chat that are currently hoping to host SVR 101 soon..
".. you will note thought that majors and large independents never issue detailed timelines, they know the nature of the business and the multiples of variables dictate hugely on timing. The best you will actually get out of majority of those is using yearly timelines quoting the year ……I do actually have a certain amount of sympathy for the boards of small aimer`s like us whose shareholders want/demand to know timelines by the month or week .
We have been not been great in the past but so many things out of our control, we can improve though, I think we will."
I feel PG is in an unenviable position. Folks ask for confirmation of licence paperwork, which is provided, and folks just move on to wanting the next piece of news immediately. The conversations with Sandjet must be frustrating for both parties - 'how's your availability?' 'we have a gap here'; 'great, can we book it in?'; 'can you pay a non-refundable deposit'? 'no, we don't have clearance yet'.
I've lost count of the number of projects I have managed that have missed the planned milestones as approvals haven't been given when expected or key contractor resources haven't been available as they are working on another project.
Im not invested currently.
Good that PRD have confirmed the extension; that was a bone of contention.
I find it very odd that they give no clear indication of drilling or testing, yet again. Poor comms.
This vagueness is unhelpful for investors.
And I repeat, as it remains relevant - Paul states the market undervalues prd. However, he gives no clear guidance and leaves investors having to guess at even the most basic details. This on a background of continually missed dates and target timelines.
What does he expect. LSE is shot and 'non-updates' like this one do not help at all.
The issue with the extension has been floating around for months. Anyhow, todays rns puts to bed that issue and everyone can move on.
But... days, weeks or months away for sand jet?? Its a complete unknown and this is why prd will continue to be undervalued. Is the kit through customs? What does 'preparations...can be progressed' mean...?! Means nothing to me, so I translate it bearishly as 'havent planned yet, but intend to plan" = open ended
Great if they test and flow good volumes- shareprice will blow the gauges, but vague updates really dont help.
9.2p is poor and almost 100% reflects poor comms.
Still out. If we get dates and clear customs for sand jetting I would buy back in for the ride. But I would rather buy back at 15p than buy now on the risk of it falling away as the haydevils roll into Summer and more non-comms muddy the waters again.
GRH. .. . .. Looks like Jimmy Bold is at it again
He just can't help it
Imaginary conversation in AN Other company...
A quick update on the whereabouts of the SVR 101, courtesy of SOU’s presentation yesterday evening:
https://youtu.be/kJhxgBBjHP4?si=AQWLMY0E7mi6j33A
“The SVR 101 is currently with another operator, when that’s completed we hope it’s making its way to Tendrara” (from 13m57s)
A far as we know, the rig is still with SDX (who spudded the BMK-2 well on 3rd April) as we’ve not had notification that SDX has TD’d the well and released the rig.
Graham Lyon’s previous comments from 10th April were that he expected the well to go from SDX to CHAR and then to SOU. So do his comments from yesterday suggest there’s been a change in the rig sequence and that SOU will now be taking the rig immediately after SDX?
As SOU isn’t using the rig to drill a new well but simply to install production casing, Keith’s suggestion was that they would need the rig for perhaps only a week or so. And then, presumably, it’d make logistical sense to send the rig to Guercif next and for us to use it for 2 ½ weeks or so (12d drill, plus a few extra either side for setting up / taking down etc). If so, this would suggest that we’ll have the rig sometime in May (i.e. within Paul’s previously stated drilling window of April-May) and well before the 5th June end-date of Amendment #4. And after we’ve finished with it, the rig can go to CHAR.
So is it possible that sequence for the rig is now SDX → SOU → PRD → CHAR?
@Androcles - 100% correct. I am genuinely curious about some people's claim of vast personal experience. Just because they use some big words does not make them knowledgeable. Quite bizarre to think you would use Sandjet to "remove the well bore debris and gunk" - indicative of dangerous ignorance.
Scratched record mostly by him…..
GLA
Hi TheBold
Which version of ChatGPT do you use?
ThEbold.
My understanding is that SJ major function is to perforate the casing and sou rounding annulus in the substrate.
We’ll bore debris and “gunk” is a by product of drilling and clean up activities usually y dealt with by the ctu.
Happy to be corrected
Quite correct there, that is most important for us. We need good strong commercial flows .
Just so everyone is aware and I’m actually not quite sure they are, Sandjet operations even if successful and remove the well bore debris and gunk will not assure a successful flow test. The only thing that will assure a successful flow test after a successful sandjet operation is moveable hydrocarbons flowing in commercial qtys. We do have good P and P so hopefully not a worry, however it is by no means a given , just like some on here allude to chariots Anchois which also has very good P and P but no well bore damage. There are risks there as well .
We could very easily see scenario’s where we see Good SJ no flow, Good sandjet , good flow. …one thing that is a given , is if it’s an unsuccessful SJ there will be no flow. .
Also SJ operations have been known to take weeks to fully clean up the wellbore and formation damage / obstructions, especially the more lateral formation damage and penetrate into and past the obstructions, ,, It’s not like sticking a bottle of mr muscle down the kitchen sink plug hole !
As Keith Oz has stated we will find out I guess in 2-3 weeks ..
TheBold, your huge volume of posting and what might appear to be an obsessional disorder against KeithOz and GRH, suggests that it might be in your interests (and that of the BB) for you to seek professional psychiatric attention.
Maybe urgently.
Especially since, by your own statement, you only hold 200,000 shares in PRD - so why are you so seemingly stressed?
But does Keith play with a straight bat? Having watched most of the Ashes matches from the mid seventies until the early nineties I'm not so sure.
Porters : In regards to Keith i would disagree ... in regards to the knowledge that Keith brings to the table is second to none. We are all in business and things happen & no one said it was a straight road . The good news is that the process continues and i'm sure we will have a few bumps in the road , but the goal and opportunity remains strong , to which everyone would agree with otherwise we would not be hear.
I can wait for MOU5 for as long as it takes. More important is to get a flow test result and a score on the board.
Is that the same Keith Oz who proclaimed on here that SDX were in fact using an ONHYM rig and not the SV101 for their current drill which has overrun . I had to set that one straight. Matter of fact , just after Keith proclaimed that, our Messiah also did the very same thing, quite worrying actually when it is blindly assumed by the masses on here that every letter typed by them is acclaimed as 100% factual and will bear. .
Operational update tomorrow 🤞
Jimmy you correctly identified what needed to happen - at least the company now seem to be coming into line
Crikey - a few folk getting a bit giddy !
Paul Griffiths
Quite ironic has anyone been further off in the past re timings than Keithoz
