Do I see the last 2 post want to buy the stock cheaper, talking about NAV?
I will call them fools, for taking rubbish and more fools for not having an idea on how to calculate/value stocks in the technology sector, Look for updates and the growth of those new upping stakes and finally results were at 31 December, 4 month gone and during that time is when all the good things have happened.
That's all, if you can not handle the stock you should not be here is my motto
Plenty of sour grapes on buying at the top I hear in the background.
I agree with those that think this is overpriced. I got over 16p for mine and I struggle to see why the price is over 10p. The low for 52 weeks is just 2.5p and I notice 37 million warrants at cheap prices are still on the books. The investments have done well and look good going forward but a mkt cap 7 times the NAV makes this look a top of the market price. There are lots of similar investment companies to this much cheaper. Investors have made their money on this stock and even with a couple of IPO's on the way I would want a lot cheaper to buy back. But hey its been a stormer so thanks Piri!
These are absolutely bargain basement prices! Pluto will send this to the moon. Averaged down today.
Hi: It has now proved correct 20p/21p was far fetched on then fundamentals, even share price of 40p was being banded about. But it would by those with an invested interest. GedW did not believe in such "pie in the sky" projections. With a NAV just over £2Mil and a MK of £17Mns there is more than enough near future price enhancing news already built in. PIRI cannot survive on speculative investments, it requires solid income or solid capital growth from its investments. So far it appears upside is priced in. But this is just an proven observation and objective opinion.
In a good way!
I think the results were always quite a show a massive premium to NAV - and I think they put the account back because they knew this (and to take advantage of the tax position)..
But with Low6 and Pluto both probably set for May IPOs, we could be looking at immediate uplift of 30- 40% -plus to present MC if they go as expected
The marked down today has brought the price below the Lower Bollinger band ( they say buy sign/oversold )

Calamari / Tovers - let me help (a bit). I do think the RNS could have been clearer. You can pretty much double the year end NAV from the acquisition of the stake in SURE (paid for by PIRI shares) and the cash received from warrant issues. This means we now have a big effective stake in Sure Valley Ventures, whose NAV is mostly calculated based on the last funding round of its investments. As Artomatix, Buymie, and Admix have shown, subsequent funding rounds can be at many multples of the previous round. So the portfolio Net Asset Value likely hugely understates actual worth of these companies.
THEN yes you can add Pluto on top. Again it's widely expected to float at a big premium to the price paid by Pires.
So a fair price for Pires is a multiple of historic NAV. Adjusting for the share issues it looks like we're currently at 3x NAV. That doesn't seem unfair to me. Arguably cheap if Pluto or low6 soar when they float. I did expect the price to be 20p by now based on Pluto. Some of the heat has come out of crypto but if Pluto floats in Q2 at a decent premium, 20p doesn't seem unreasonable.
Big difference between Market Cap of 19.6m at 26 April 21 and NAV of 2.6m at 31 Dec 20
Interesting to understand the change in NAV since year end. Pluto looks to be the main driver? Would be interesting to understand what their stake and cost in Pluto is vs what their expected IPO value will be. From what I could see on the internet, Pluto was originally bought by Argo & Pires at 6p/share. with potential to open trading at multiple times that price.
Hoping for good news as an RGO Holder
Nav at £19.6m
Hi MasterRSI: How much will that flow down to the Market Cap of PIRI ? How much of that publicly available information is already foreseen in PRI's valuation ? None of it ? Some of it ? All of it ?
Quiet on this board, not elsewhere:

Pires was at ~4p before they moved into crypto. How much of the value increase since (some £14m of £19m mcap) is attributable to Pires' taking of this crypto position?
The positive part for PIRI now ahead of Pluto IPO
An IPO in Pluto takes place on 15 May 2021
Shares were offered at 6p and have been many times oversubscribed, currently, there are trades ( quoting ) at around 17p
Buyers are back and now paying much more than the 13.20p earlier
Bid went to 13.50p just now

re - seller
no need to wait for this afternoon, you can sell now for 13.50p
Yep, I've just taken a position..it's dropped back 20% over the last month. Scaling in at these levels now.
Tell the 50K seller to stop being STUPID, this afternoon easily could get 13.50p instead of the 12.75p now.
Chart with share price under the lower Bollinger Band
"The Bottom Line
While every strategy has its drawbacks, Bollinger Bands® have become one of the most useful and commonly used tools in spotlighting extreme short-term prices in a security. Buying when stock prices cross below the lower Bollinger Band® often helps traders take advantage of oversold conditions and profit when the stock price moves back up toward the center moving-average line."

14.35p ( 14.20-14.50p )
Large drop today as it went under the Lower Bollinger Band ( rules say buy time ) also a 61.8% Fibonacci retracement and Stochastic at oversold territory. Crypto fall out this weekend has triggered the large fall today.
Hi Techtronic. If your belief is true, then PIRI has cleared out a bit of dross for a far more lucrative investment. So what was once an investment to untold fortune has been turned into something less so certain ? Or is GedW reading things wrong here. The share price appears to be fully valued on all known publicly available informatio. Analysts are still not jumping on this alleged perceived undervalued stock.
I believe PIRI swapped all its YOP for a bigger portion of Pluto, GedW...
So I don't think your cloud of Doom hovers over this particular aspect
Hi vbeckers: You may be granted further opportunity to buy in cheaper if the current performance of YOP is any indication of direction. Weak is not the word ? But hey ho you buy high and price falls you cry buy lower or low you when price hits new highs crow. Either way every one tries to convince others they called it correct based on future performance.
Sorry about typos.. predictive from phone again..
Should have said "accounts will show us trading at a premium to Net assets" - unless there is some real income meat on the bones for some of the Tech shares..
However! If the Pluto and low 6 IPOs go go anywhere near their expectation, millions will be added to the MC, and if LoW6 becomes the anticipated unicorn in time, that alone would add approx 15M to PIRI
I don't disagree GedW..
And I think Pires is suffering from a bit of fatigue/ consolidation following the rise.
I think the fear of large amount of warrants is acting somewhat as a sword of Damocles, but also agree that a new catalyst is needed.
I also think that the next trading update (and remember the accounting year was pushed back..why?) will almost inevitably shall we are trading at a premium 2 net assets.
However, I do believe that big catalysts are just around the corner -namely the Low6 and Pluto IPOs
One ! would have imaged this post and link would have had a positive impact on the share price ? But then again the Market anticipated all available information. Something unknown and spectacular would need to be announced before the share price of PIRI shakes off its current narrow band. Just an opinion as valid as any other !
