Sorry for you rednight, but back then upuntil recently they were overprice, and under the stewardship of bonner as I recall. From what I read, mostly from the likes of ex-angry shareholders like you and elsewhere he was not very good. Nick IS very good and has the background to back it up. If there is a cash call, the last one was at a premium. But I dont see one coming. liabilities are slightly different to cash flow. And cash is flowing thanks to cost cutting, new business etc. Read the post report stuff, it says it all.
Cash at 31 March £575k Net CURRENT Liabilities at 31 March: £500k (£2669k-£2169k) Simple maths Cash call coming.... if Nick really believed he would have bought more than £10k.... (unless he's buying cheaper in a placement...... Genuine best wishes to all. I waited 4 years and gave up..
This could indeed be the start of a turnaround …….. The Directors of the company took over half of the last placing (at a small premium) and the new CEO has also bought on the open market …… maybe the omens are on the positive side Bit more digging to do!
Usually a good sign, very positive, Nick has already found new customers, renewed contracts, cut costs, reduced head count etc.I dont see a placing after that. Last placing was at a premium by the way. One word TURNAROUND! ,
Opinion: ironic?
If Nick can keep the SP between 9-11p for a few weeks and then buy lots more in a placing at about 5-6p I reckon his last director buy will have been worth the minimal outlay of £10k. That will strengthen the balance sheet and help his average. Re COMS - One incorrect figure in the results hardly means thy have iffy account issues. The selling was overdone and recovery will come soon. I think it is more that likely that something significant will come out before the AGM.
I've been saying coms overpriced for sometime. I told someone to sell and buy pinn! If coms are iffy on account issues AND overpriced the shorters will take them to the cleaners. Nick doubled his holding, other directors may be adding. I'd call that a significant and confident statement. It also suggest no placing imminent and further progress to follow. I.m confident, have been for some time, some people KNOW a good thingat the right time and price, and that is right now.
still overhyped (DB halo effect), arguably overpriced rel to comparators (incl EIT, PINN)...yes profitable but does that justify such substantial premium.... and vulnerable to further revelations / unraveling (the accounting issues around suspension struck me as shoddy/shocking) ...but GL & fun to watch
smart move...overpriced @6p+ ...maybe will drift lower now on post placing distribution...but REDT tech will keep blue sky punters interested
Korg Your CEO only bought £10k worth and that hasn't even doubled his initial holding. If you think that is a vote of confidence from the boss then you are the amateur, which is the correct spelling of the word. Mind the spike.
Jolly, not sure what you mean with CCE I sold those months ago to buy VMP. As for COMS, that will recover and any day now I will be topping up. Well done on your profit here, selling some or all on a spike is always a smart move.
Still on the watchlist Korg for sure. See how it plays out but has risen a decent amount in a few days so let's see. Jolly need to look again at EIT I feel. Difficult with these tech stocks I find, quite a few similar and in the same market. TRD another. Volume is a bit of an issue at the moment with EIT.
..
intresting craig, but after a director buys I'm expecting good news. Again look at EIT MCAP/TURNOVER and compare to pinn. Not saying your wrong, just saying. Pinn will start to cost cut, renegotiagte supplier discounts (the ceo is ex-virgin) etc and up their margins etc and now they have someone who knows how to run a business (rather than just buying businesses! re old ceo) Keep your eye on Nick, he's a smart cookie. The new david brieth remember! You read it here first.
tks for idea.. ...any thoughts on why the drop @ EIT? placement on cards? or just relatively expensive comparedto other bombed out plays like this (on EV/rev or Ev/gross profit type multiple??)
Cheers Jolly. Another of interest in this field is EIT. Might be worth a punt soon.
decent approach...plenty of opportunity for retrace...not least a Pete Placing lol
Had this on my watchlist since just before results. Should have taken the plunge. Going to leave it now and see if it retraces or not.
with coms, cce & here all not going yr way...perhaps a little humility on yr part??
dsn also has EV/gross profits<1 & is breakeven...so 40% rise here is enough for now for me
sold 8k@9p
I may not be around lol
4ps you sound like a total amature. By the way CEO just bought more, what does that tell you.
FOllwed his posts his numbers spot on, sold out above 18p said price will drop which it did, so credit there. Will they need funding may go close to wire on turnaround as for coms they lost 50ish value from 6p. Some are right some wrong.
Jolly You will be the one with egg on your face when a placing is announced.
