6p decent support imv ..v cheap on EV/rev and EV/gross profit (<1) multiples ....suggesting ripe for t/o (again lol) ...placement recently at higher sp ...close to cash breakeven (EBITDA minus sustaining capital spend) so perhaps have space to breathe ...DYOR
you sound like an old mate of mine - grow t/o die - always his mantra
The business seems sub scale...so grow, t/o or die ..perhaps they have a cunning growth plan...but I'd rather see a t/o
good question and a comparatively large buy on tuesday - causing the price to jump..... As far as I can see - pinn han't made a profit over the last 5 years.... 2m loss last year and managed a placing at he start of this year which generated .5m.... hmmmm... The first thing that the new CEO did was to sell shares @ 12p.... If the board thought that coms undervalued the company around the 21p mark - I wonder what they think of the value now.... the bare minimum of newsflow which is going to be a great help with the shareprice dipping.... no wonder there isn't a lot of confidence in the management if it's costing money to win business after all this time.... However - the situation would look a lot brighter if they could strip out some of the overheads and 10m t/o represents a useful userbase to convert.... My main negative is that they aren't telling us what they propose to do to make a profit - the new CEO must surely have some ideas to put forward by now - maybe working for COMS is one of them.... I can't see that being the case though but...... and still no news from coms
who else..in particular the £7k?
.
check out finals...plus placings...plus approach from COMS last year ...and long drift into value imv
seemingy on 2 buys..... Need to do some research on this pdq - or does it have anything to do with research....
Pinn up 5%....... erm......
that is Awkward Turtle's PoV ...I also have in mind that the sector is just wide open to M&A.....and PINN is crying out to be t/o by someone at EV/gross profits <1 and MCAP close to book ...the market does not seem to back this management team ...time for a consolidation and stripping out admin costs lol ...scale matters
It crossed my mind...... Wouldn't PINN suspend trading too?
worth punt here?
...no rns for best part of 3 months ...no update on trading ...no interims (were out by now last year)
drop
Oh no. Not claims direct!!! Please accept my apologies. The COMS SP has got ahead of the PINN SP on A couple of occasions recently, however I suspect soon it will get ahead and stay ahead.
Of course not, thats an insult, (i'm on to claims direct as I type!) by the way I'm not an historic holder. but I like the possibility of turnaround here at this level. well coms results out, revenue 14mil/1.25 profit, good results and not doubting the progress, but look pricey, and how much good will in their buy to build net assets. I'm still not a buyer of coms, and judging by the early selloff, a few others agree. lookout the "one off cost" too. Sell a few FPS, keep your eye on pinn and slam a few on if you like their results, dont let history blind you.
Korg You clearly think you think it is so much better for a company to keep making losses, the bigger the better, and I assume that if this happens then the SP is bound to rise. PINN is a prime example of increasing losses with those announced in Sept 2013 being the worst ever. However for some unknown reason the SP fell??? We have read and fully understand the trading updates. The move into profit is the first in the history of COMS and as you will find out tomorrow will, it will be significantly higher that the approximate figure given in the trading update. However you would do well to pay more attention to the Q1 trading update when it is released. When COMS made its bid for PINN just 9 months ago its SP was around 4p and fell to around 3p and PINN went up to about 24p. You only have to look at the SP's of both companies now to gauge which one is a success. You clearly still believe in PINN, but is this based more on hope than any real substance? I hope that your faith is rewarded.
Look at the revenue and tiny profit compared to the sp. Unustainable. some of you guys need to read the trading updates again. But good. Luck to you.
give it your best shot...these characters from COMS turning up to dis PINN ain't on
The opinion was meant to be "No Opinion".
That sums it up nicely.
Close of prices on 4th September against closing prices today Pinn - 21p now 7.125p an decrease of 66% Coms - 3.825p now 6.55p an increase of 71% Invest £1000 in each and Pinn would be worth £339 and Coms £1,712, just over 5 times the price, Do I need to say anymore
So you think coms are good value at 60 million? Can't deny the DB effect the sp though, how much are you down from the peak? At the end of the day its results that count. NS been in the job for 6 months, you hardly blame him for the sp performance if people want to sell it down. Lets watch this space shall we.
the bounce looks like a lifeless moggy
Correction My opinion was meant to be "No Opinion", not Strong Buy.
